Are there any new load options other than Function loader that is introduced in SCM 7.0

What i wanted to ask was, is the APO loader available in OSS # 551972 the same for SCM 7.0 as well.
Because in this OSS, we dont see SCM 7.0 mentioned. although the release table shows 7.0.
if yes, is the APO loader not gone thru any changes thru 3.0 to 7.0

Bulk Load option doesn't work

Hi Experts,
I am trying to load data to HFM using Bulk load option but it doesnt work. When I Change the option to SQL insert, the loading is successful. The logs say that the temp file is missing. But when I go to the lspecified location , I see the control file and the tmp file. What am I missing to have bulk load working?Here's the log entry.

Sql *Loader 10.2.0.4.0
OS: Sun Solaris 10 SPARC 64-bit,
Database: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0
The following error recieved:

Where to set "module load option"

I have been checking one teststand sequence file and I got a message to change the module load option to dynamic load module....but I simply couldn't find where to set it. please help me with any input. thanks a lot

In infopackges Delta Load option is missing.

Hi All,
               For one infopackges initially we were using "Initialzation Delta Process " Option in update .
      Now we want to change that option into "Delta Load". I went to corrsponding infopackage,but that "Delta load" option itself is not appearing in the update tab.
What shoud i do to get that option in the infopackages.Please help me on this.

          Because of transfer structure changes i am not able to reconstruct that initial request . I am not able to do initial load also.if i delete the failed "initial delta process "request "Delt load" option will be enabled.i have to enable the Delta load option.Please help me on this.

Load Options for Edit Sub Step

Hi Ppl,
I have created a custom step type which has a edit sub step with LabVIEW adapter. When invoke the edit sub step for the first time, it takes a while to load the edit sub step and there is a noticebale delay for the first time. I want the edit sub step module to be loaded when TestStand is open or when the sequence file is open. I was not able to locate any location where we can specify the load and unload options of the edit sub step. Is there any way to do this ?

This is probably because of the launching of LabVIEW development system.
Have you tried setting the Load option for the SequenceFile to 'Preload when opening sequence file'

No "load" option in Duotones

Win 7 64, CS5 Cannot access "Load" button in Duotone Options. ( Under Image, Mode. ) No Load option is shown. All tutorials say to click on Load. Additional Plug-in folder is checked. under Preferences, Plug-Ins. Presets/Duotones/Pantone(R)Duotones/ selected. First time trying to use Duotones.

First uncheck the additional plugins, since that doesn't have anything to do with doutone presets.
(that's for plugins/filters that go under the Filter menu)
Your probably reading stuff that is referencing older versions of photoshop for the duotone dialog.
In photoshop cs5 you can get the load presets and also see a list of the already installed presets by clicking on the areas indicated in the screenshot below.

I have run delta DTP from Cube A to Cube B with selection less than or equal to 31.03.2004 and I want to run grater than 31.03.2004. Now the problem is this load is not bringing the required records because data mart symbol is already set in Cube A.

I am afraid that we have only full and delta options available in DTP, but the several other options available on extraction tab will enable us to do something similar to it.
If you looking to get data after 31.03.2004, in you selction condition change the from date to 01.04.2004 and try extracting, I am sure it will give you the desired records.

What Mac model do you have? You might be able to upgrade the OS to Tiger 10.4 or Leopard 10.5.
Even browsers for Tiger 10.4 will get the update message.
You could try a newer browser than Safari, which is obsolete, by downloading Firefox v2.0.0.20 at http://www.oldapps.com/mac/firefox.php

DAC - Can I run more then one Exection Plans with full load option enabled?

Hello All,
I have configured for subject Area sales – Orders, Backlog and Invoices (OBIEE)
Now I want to run DAC to load the underline tables for subject Areas Financials – Revenue Analysis and Financials – GL Budget and Expenses, I have identified the relevant fact tables and built a Execution Plan in DAC.
DAC - In which mode should I run the execution plan?
With full load option enabled or disabled because already full load run is done for sales – Orders, Backlog and Invoices and this run should not disturb the existing data
If I run with full load option enabled do it overrides the existing data for other subject area
Please help me I am bit confused!

No need of combining all the subject areas into one execution plan. Simply run the second ETL without checking the full load option. It will do the full load for the tables related to the newly added subject areas and incremental for the common tables between old and new subject areas.

Bulk load option Data Services Oracle

I'm trying to use the option "Bulk load" but it doesn't work.
Error message : "DBS-070301Oracle <DB_INFO>> error message for operation <OCIDirPathPrepare>: <ORA-00942: table or view does not exist"
Is it necessary to affect dba grant for the oracle user that is declared in the Datastore?
The version is : Data Services XI 3.1
The database is : Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.7.0

Restart deployment (.ear) does not load optional package

Hello everybody,
In our 10.3.5 WLS domains, we are using optional packages for sharing libraries between applications see [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/web.1211/e24368/libraries.htm|Creating Shared Java EE Libraries and Optional Packages]
The problem is that if I redeploy the library I have to redeploy the deployment. This issue only happens with the applications packaged as *.ear*. If the application has been deployed as a .war, with restarting the deployment is enough.
Would be possible to load the referenced library from an *.ear* just restarting the deployment?

Shank.There are many ways to read data.
SQL*Loader is an external command line utility
External Tables are an internal mechanism that using the same 'engine' as the SQL*Loader utility, in order to be able to read data as if it's on a table already (hence it can be used through SQL).
You could also use the UTL_FILE package to read files line-wise or byte-wise as a low level mechanism.
Also, methods such as BFILE reading as demonstrated... ( goes off to find an example ).... here:

There are also other built in packages that contain procedures/functions that offer some form of file reading and writing.
And you can also create your own using Java in the database.
So, take your pick... lots to choose from... and it all depends what you want to do.

BW Staging cube to BPC Delta load - options

Hello Gurus
What are the options of loading BW staging cube data to BPC with Delta options
1)can i have BW DSO (not cube) as staging cube and then load data to BPC cube
what is advantage and disadvantage
2)If i use data manager of BPC to load data from BW staging cube ,it always load FULL load
disadvantage - data doubles in the BPC infocube
3)If i use the BW staging cube to load the BPC cube with standard ETL process of BW ,will the data double in BPC cube
i would guess not as BW handles the DELTA mechanism efficiently ?
4)Data Manager option from BPC
it has 2 options MERGE and REPLACE ,cant REPLACE option work as DELTA from BPC ,as this will avoid creating BW extra cube for delta

so in the above flow which DSO should convert KF based model to Account based model ,std DSO or Write optimised DSO
so how abt this flow if i put
ECC>Staging InfocubeDELTA infocube-->BPC where i clear DELTA infocube every time I load to BPC
here i am saving the data load activation time for the staging DSO ,
Any disadvantage you think using the approach I select below with staging Infocube
Also wont the data manager option of REPLACE work as DELTA ? if not what is the business case to use this option

Iphoto not loading, option key does nothing

I read some of the other post but none has really helped. I am a Mac G4 and had to do a reinstall and now iPhoto will not load. I tried to hold the option key but nothing happens. My iPhoto Liberty is on a external hard drive. I am guessing this is causing the problem. Anything? I am on Tiger 10.4.11

Sounds like your Library is corrupt.
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.
