Load Process needs to break into two Processes

Hi friends
I have a Process Of Load data in my Process chain. This Load Data is loading into two targets(PSA and then into Data Target, Package by Package). The two targets are:
0MATERIAL$T, Material (Texts)
ZE_MATERL$T, Euro Material (Texts)
Now i have to break this process into two processes. First process should load into PSA and the secound process should load through the PSA to Data Targets.
I have done for the PSA Know the problem is how i should do the same for two Data Targets because at a time in 'Read PSA and Update Data Target' process only one process can be updated. Please suggest.

which version u r in?
if 3.x
choose the third option in the infopack PSA and update to target. and save the infopack. use this infopack in process chain this will generate the two process that loads upto PSA then to target with next process.
if 7.0
use infopack to load upto PSA.
create transformation for the datasource used each from both the infoobject. create independent DTPs to load both the infoobject.
use, the infopack to load upto PSA and use the 2 DTPs after the infopack load process.

I need to break the install process

Hi,
I recently tried to run an archive and install on my G5 Mac - Dual 2ghz - 1 gb ram OSX Version 10.4.11.
Unfortunately, I am missing the "correct" version of disk 2. As a result, I cannot continue with the install. Nor can I do anything with this drive, since it goes straight into the installer and asks for disk 2.
I can put the drive in another identical Mac G5 and see all of the data on the drive including the "Previous Versions" folder, and the "new" system folder.
If I delete the "new" system folder and put it back into Mac-A I get a Kernal panic - missing drivers screen.
So, either
A: How do I break the boot process to start over with a different set on the original machine; or
B: what file do I need to delete from the hard drive (using the second machine) to allow me to restart the process (using a different OS ver.?

You really can't break the installation process midstream. You can attempt to fix a mistaken install using an Archive and Install, and combo update back to the version you were at last, but that's dependent on their being enough space on your system*:

After an archive and install, you can migrate data back to your new system that is usable. Frequently added drivers and plugins are not usable, but applications may be usable from a previous system.

If you haven't you can backup even a shoddy system and restore elements such as documents, but don't expect anything else to be usable.

Need to Log into two different screens on bootup?

Since resinstalling Mac OS X Mountain Lion on my 2012 13'' Macbook Air, I have to log in twice. While setting up it made me create a new password before it would wipe the disk and let me continue. So now I have to log in twice booting up my macbook air. I'm totally lost. The 1st screen is gray and has a circle with an outline of someones head with a question mark and says "update needed". As far as I can tell I have kept up on updates and kept updating until it said no updates available. After I get past that screen with the password, I have another screen with the selected picture of a macaw that I normally log in with. This has my "OLD" password. Would this all be because of FileVault?

Changing Apple ID - Currently sharing one, but need to split into two

My wife and I currently share the same Apple ID; however, she has her iPhone synced with the iTunes on her laptop and I have my iPhone synced with my iTunes on my separate laptop. The problem, of course, is that if we both use the cloud, all our info gets shared/synced together, which we don't want to do.
Is there a way for her to keep her current ID (so she doesn't have to change anything), but for me to change mine and keep access to all my apps, music, etc., in my iTunes library and on my iPhone? My understanding (which may be incorrect), is that if I change my Apple ID associated with my iPhone and iTunes (and all associated apps, music, etc.), that I may not get access to those any longer. Also, if I change the Apple ID associated with my iPhone/iTunes, I still want my wife to keep the same one we've been using.
Any tips or solutions appreciated? Apologies if this has been covered many times in the past.

You can try putting your url between between brackets () in your emails, but better to change the site and page names to make it shorter and republish. In particular get rid of all the spaces represented by %20. For example, instead of naming your site " Baseballs 2007 Site", just call it bb7 or something. Instead of naming the page "Shooting Stars Party", just call it ssparty or something.

"Expand Title" in imovie breaks the title into two lines

How do I phrase this so people will find the problem and help me solve it?
When I use "Expand Lower Third" title in iMovie, I type in a sentence and the title starts playing fine, but less than half a second after it starts, the title breaks into two lines.
Changing the font size doesn't seem to help. Also, no matter what I do, the jump happens right at the beginning, so it's very distracting and unprofessional.

Split the column into two based on conditions

Continent has the data like this

I need the count of countries for each continent break into two columns based on the population. One column showing the count of countries with population <= 2000 and the other column should show the count of countries with population >2000
How can I achieve this?

Movie and iTunes Extras Split into Two FIles

I download most movies on my Windows 7 machine. It downloads just fine as does downloading movies on my two Macs. Things get a little weird when I use the iTunes feature "Show items not in my library" to keep all the copies of iTunes with the same downloads. When I copy from one machine to another, the movie icon in the Movies Library on the receiving machine breaks into two identical icons with different file names. For example, The Last Airbender - iTunes Extras & The Last Airbender. Is there any way for me to get these things to fuse back together?

Try this:
When you download iTunes Extras movies, the extras will be downloaded to your iTunes Music/Downloads/Movie_Subfolder. The actual movie usually is in the iTunes Music/Movies/Movie_Name folder. Go back to the Downloads/Movie_Subfolder and cut and paste the files from the .tmp folder into the same folder as the iTunes Music/Movies/Movie_Name folder.

Out of habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page Thumbnails pane by right-click then "Insert Pages" -> "From File". For me, this preserves the tags from both documents, although the tags may have to be moved into the right location (if I recall correctly the tags for the inserted pages get put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), If I first put the tags for the document to be inserted inside a container tag like Section, it makes the process easier. Moving that set of tags to the right place is the only re-fixing that I recall having to do. What behavior are you experiencing?

Hi,
You can add new form fields via the add item bar. For example if you want them to fill in their name, you'd add perhaps 2 text fields, one for first name, one for last name. Text field is the first icon on the add item bar. Each field allows you to specify a custom label, you can click it to edit the label. Are you seeing the add item bar?
Once you've added all your form fields, you can test your form by clicking the "Test" tab, and then clicking the "Test Web Form" button. That will open a browser to your form, that you can test filling it out. When you've filled it out, you click the submit button. The response will be saved to our service. You can view the submissions, by going to the "View Responses" tab.
Once you've finished testing your form, and want to distribute to your users, go to the "Distribute" tab, click the "Open" button. This will make sure your form is open and accepting repsonses. Then copy the URL by clicking the "Copy Link" button. You can then email that URL to your users, so they can fill in your form.

Need help in optimizing the process

I need help in optimizing my process. Here is what am I doing:
I have two tables table A and table B. table A has list of names and table B has name and ID. Right now I am loading name into cursor from table A and for each name from the cursor I try to match with name in table B to get the ID. This process takes very long to complete. I need help to replace PL/SQL with SQL if possible. I am using oracle utl_match to match the best possible record in table B. table B sometimes returns multiple matching records. I take the top nearest match name and ID for my use (there is not always one to one match)
Any idea or help will be appreciated. Thanks

always provide create table and sample data instert statements when asking a question. also, provide your database version.
because you're using utl_match, you can't really use an index, there must be a cartesian join on the two tables so it may always be slow.
however, here's a sample SQL that you may be able to make use of:

Load data from PSA to ODS in Process Chain

I want to load the data from PSA to ODS. I am using 3.5 Version. I have created the Info Package to load the data from R/3 to ODS.
I just want to load data in the following Condition
1. Need to load data from R/3 to PSA.
2. Need to load data from PSA to ODS.
I need to include this two Info Packages in Process Chain.
I dont find any option to load PSA to ODS through Process Chain..

Hi Ram,
You can keep the settings in the infopackage to load data from R/3 to PSA (by giving the settings as PSA and then into datatargets). Specify the option Update in all data targets for which the Rule Exist unde rthe Data Targets Tab.
Then in Process Chian, there is an option by the name REad PSA and Update Datatarget under the node Load Process and Post-Processing in the Process Types.
In the varaint, specify the infopackage name and save the varinat and uise it in the PC.

Full load from a DSO to a cube processes less records than available in DSO

We have a scenario, where every Sunday I have to make a full load from a DSO with OnHand Stock information to a cube, where I register on material and stoer level a counter if there is stock available.
The DTP has no filters at all and has a semantic group on 0MATERIAL and 0PLANT.
The key in the DSO is:
0MATERIAL
0PLANT
0STOCKTYPE
0STOR_LOC
0BOM
of which only 0MATERIAL, 0PLANT and 0STORE_LOC are later used in the transformation.
As we had a growing number of records, we decided to delete in the START routine all records, where the inventory is not GT zero, thus eliminating zero and negative inventory records.
Now comes the funny part of the story:
Prior to these changes I would [in a test system, just copied from PROD] read some 33 million of records and write out the same amount of records. Of course, after the change we expected to write out less. To my total surprise I was reading now however 45 million of records with the same unchanged DTP, and writing out the expected less records.
When checking the number of records in the DSO I found the 45 million, but cannot explain why in the loads before we only retrieved some 33 millions from the same unchanged amount of records.
When checking in PROD - same result: we have some 45 million records in the DSO, but when we do the full load from the DSO to the cube the DTP only processes some 33 millions.
What am I missing - is there a compression going on? Why would the amount of records in a DSO differ from the amount of records processed in the DataPackgages when I am making a FULL load without any filter restrictions and only a semantic grouping in place for parts of the DSO key?

I did check if there were more/any loads doen inbetween - there were none in the test system. As I mentioned that it was a new copy from PROD to TEST, I compared the number of entries in the DSO and that seems to be a match between TEST and PROD, ok a some more in PROD but they can be accounted for. In test I loaded the day before the changes were imported to have a comparison, and between that load and the one ofter the changes were imported nothing in the DSO was changed.
Both DTPs in TEST and PW2 load from actived DSO [without archive]. The DTPs were not changed in quite a while - so I ruled that one out. Same with activation of data in the DSO - this DSO get's loaded and activated in PROD daily via process chain and we load daily deltas into the cube in question. Only on Sundays, for the begin of the new week/fiscal period, we need to make a full load to capture all materials per site with inventory. The deltas loaded during the week are less than 1 million, but the difference between the number of records in the DSO and the amount processed in the DataPackages is more than 10 millions per full load even in PROD.
I really appreciated the knowledgable answer, I just wished you would pointed out something that I missed out on.

Two processes running at the same time in Lookout

I have installed Lookout 5.0 with 200 I/O Points onto our server computer. The application of motion control is next to the 200 I/O points through OPC PMAC server/client. Now I would like to have a second process in the same server for trouble shooting and testing without stopping the motion control process. However, this second testing process could have also many I/O points through Serial and USB ports. I assume that the total amount of I/O points of both processes will be greater than 200.I prefer to have independent processes for control and testing because access levels. Can I have these two processes running at the same time when needed?

From your description you are using a third party OPC server for the motion application. You could have a second Lookout process communicating with the same OPC server with no problems, as long as you do not exceed the number of I/O points your license supports.
Also, the process you are using for testing obviously could not overwrite datamembers (or registers if you will) that would interfere in the overall application, in other words you can test your application as long as you keep the coherency of the test.
So the answer would be, yes it is possible, however you are still limited to the number of I/O's your license supports... You may even consider upgrade the number of I/O's you have in your license.
