Loaded windows 7 onto iMac but can not boot OS X Lion
I have just used boot camp on OS X Lion 10.7 to load windows 7, however i now can't boot OS X again
I have tried to boot using Command + R but only windows 7 is listed
I have also tried to use boot camp through windows control panel but boot camp is not under systems and security
Any advise on next steps? or what may have cause the issue?
The iMac is a late 2006 17" screen with 4gb Ram and as i say is running 10.7

Command-R is recovery
Option(alt) is the boot manager, and if you did press option you appear to have toasted your OSX partition.
Reboot, hold the OPTION key and tell us what is listed

iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
Authorizing a computer does not cause media to magically appear.
Media is only where the user puts it.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. -

Changed my iMac but Can't Boot from Windows
I'm using iMac 21.5 with Mac OS X 10.6.6
All programs are updated.
I used to have iMac 24, but i removed it's hard drive and installed it on a new iMac 21.5
i can't boot from windows 7.
what should i do ?Can you boot into safe mode ..... because if you can you can also reach "repair computer"! so reboot your windows partition, as soon as the bios appears start pressing F8 until you see "Advanced Boot Options" when you get there choose, "Repair your Computer" (1st selection on the page) and go to "Startup Repair" .. selecting that will cause Windows to attempt to repair the boot sector of it's partition, if it succeeds you'll be able to boot, if not no data will have been lost.
However please understand that without a backup of your windows partition data loss is a possibility under these circumstances. Windows hard drives almost never boot when moved from one installation to another. Read that last bit twice.

I downloaded some home movies onto my IMac but could not find a way to burn them to a DVD. Does Apple have software to do this or do I need to purchase one. If so, what is recommended.

Do you want to create a video DVD that will plan on a TV set via a DVD player or just burn the video files to a data DVD disk for storage?

If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailier like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Softwareor eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.
Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
However, there are video DVD authoring apps that are available at the App Store that will create a video DVD disk. They won't be as extensive as iDVD but can create a simple video DVD.
iDVD 7.1.2 is compatible with iDVD but we don't if it will be with the next system generation. -
My bluetooth keyboard (Macnus brand - bought recently in Thailand)(similar to Mac small keyboard) will pair with my iPad using code 8310,and is recognized by my iMac but will not pair?
There are very scant instructions with the keyboard and no mention of any code (the code was prompted by my iPad).
I have followed the instructions but it still will not pair with my iMac!

No mention of iMac! although the box is branded to indicate Mac compatable.
I'm thinking that maybe it just will not pair with an iMac.

I have one paid mobileme account, few days ago I have done transition to iCloud and all my iDisk, contact... gone. Today I tried login to iCloud application on my windows pc (64bit) but I can not, it said "this apple id is valid but is not iCloud account". I can login on website icloud.com but can not login into iCloud application installed on pc. What's wrong?
I have tried another free apple ID and logged on. That's funny when I can login with free account and can not login with paid mobileme account!!!!!!By the way - the only reason I downloaded iCloud is because Apple deleted the backup option from iTunes. Since iCloud doesn't work, I guess we have no way to protect our iTunes music collection. Absolutely stupid.

I use an Epson Stylus Office BX320FW printer with my IMac. Since upgrading OSX, I have lost the ability to print and scan. I have downloaded printer drivers from both Epson and Apple. I am using the printer in wifi mode but can not get it print or scan. How do I uninstall the Epson software and start all over again?

Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

Keep in mind that if your camera is newer than the last released version of Camera Raw (5.7) for Photoshop CS4, Adobe does provide a free solution for compatibility, as Curt has mentioned, through the use of the free DNG Converter application.
The way that works is this:
1. You get your raw images from your new camera into a folder on your computer.
2. You run the latest DNG Converter application and choose the folder.
3. It converts the entire folder full of images to .DNG files.
4. You open a DNG file as you would an older raw file, with your old version of Photoshop.
While the DNG Converter provides you a way to continue to use your older Photoshop software with a new camera, keep in mind that there are significant improvements in the raw converter in the latest version of Photoshop that may allow you to make better images out of your raw files if you do choose to upgrade Photoshop.

Would like to move iPod touch files to my new Windows 8 computer -- read on how to do this, but this involves being able to see the hidden fiels -- but can not see hidden files...any suggestions. Would like to transfer these files from iPod Touch to new laptop without software -- is that possible -- if not can anyone recommend a good free software to use?
There is no way to do so without software. I recently had a similiar task and was suggested to use iExplorer. It worked like a charm.
