I have an hp pavilion slimline s51414 desktop and i cant load a cd in the player how and which way do you load it?

Is there no reaction when you press the eject button?
Open the Windows Explorer and right-click on the DVD drive in Devices with removable storage. In the menu, as seen in the image below, select eject.
Is you slimline desktop still in waranty?

Since updating to Firefox 22 Twitch.tv does not load the player anymore

I just updated to Firefox 22 and no Twitch.tv's player simply does not load anymore. Just a black rectangle where the player is supposed to be and if I rightclick in that area, I get the same context menu as everywhere else, meaning that the player definitly did not load. Youtube works fine though.

I found a solution! (at least, for my platform; Windows XP Home SP3, Firefox 4.0.1) =) Go to http://labs.adobe.com and download the Release Candidate 1 version of Adobe Flash 10.3.181.5. I swear, the Second I installed this, it worked INSTANTLY xD. Best of luck to you! (and anyone else who sees this =)

Firefox crashes as soon as Flash video tries to load and Safari shows the error "Plug-in Failure"

I am unable to use Youtube or view Flash video on any sites.
Firefox crashes/quits as soon as a video tries to load and Safari shows the error "Plug-in Failure".
I have uninstalled Flash, downloaded a fresh version and installed, but no joy.
I am using OS X 10.6.6.
This is what I have tried so far;
1. Repaired Permissions.
2. Restarted with external drive and run Disk repair.
3. Restarted with external drive and run DiskWarrior.
4. Completely uninstalled Flash plugin. Robooted. Reinstalled Flash plugin. Rebooted.
5. I even installed an earlier version of the plugin to see if there was some incompatibility with the latest version.
6. Created a new user login and tried from there. Same problem.
Any ideas?

You have what is necessary for Flash Player to be working. Firefox had some issues last year but it was after loading a video or the website. I had not heard of it lately and even last year don't recall it happening on the Macs.
What is happening with yours sounds like a direct conflict with some addon/extension.

Any adblock or popup blocker software would cause this also.

I used a third party programme called Mackeeper UGHHH,it moved loads of files to the trash now i do not know where they originally came from or belong!! the put back option is in grey??how can i manually put these files back where they belong?SO upset!!

hello there thank u so much for ur reply!! ok i uninstalled mackeeper now and the put back option is still in grey im so confused...i tried restarting my computer like u said and put back still in grey??!! the files that are in my trash are everything from Accounts,address book plug-ins,address book,adobe,aim.........then stuff like apple,Audio,....to caches color pickers,colors,com.apple.TCC,to DVD player to facebook,google to ilifemedia browser to itunes to keychains to movie effects,preferences printers to skype...my Native instruments files BUT not all of them my garage band but not all of it...it seriously looks like my whole library is in the trash i tried to put things back where i THINK they belong and it just added the item or folder under where i thought it went and didnt restore functionality to for instance google chrome and all my book marks are there....they seem to be only certain things from my library that would have added some functionality to apps and programmes like my garageband is missing stuff photobooth wont work so on.......kinda looks a bit like this thats only the half of it!! Issue w movie only loading partially in certain Browser/Player Configurations

I have a multi SWF movie that uses AS2 and is behaving differently in different browsers.
The basic scenario is this . There is a root movie that acts as a control panel for user input.
1. It loads then parses some xml to determine how the interface should look (what images, radio buttons, etc. to display)
2. Then it loads and positions items on the stage ( rbs, thumbnails)
3. It loads child swfs
When the issue occurs step 2 is only partially completed and step 3 doesn't occur. No message about script error appears.
I've been getting different reports from testers -
Tester 1
PC Plaver Version - 10.3
1.       Firefox 8.0 on PC - issue
2.       Internet Explorer 8 PC - no issue
MAC Player Version
3.       Safari Mac - issue

PC Player version -   10.3
1.       Firefox 8.0 on PC - no issue

The only consistency seems to be IE and possibly the player version.

I have more info then my when I made the original post
I am thinking that it may be a Player issue.
1. Testers using the same connections in different browsers are getting different results.
2. I am Tester 2 from above. I am testing from 2 machines that share the same connection. See corrected stats below.
Tester 2 -inital settings
PC Player version -   different player in each browser
1.       Firefox 8.0 on PC   version 10 - no issue
2.       Internet Explorer 8 PC - issue
MAC Plaver Version - 11.1
3.       Safari Mac - no issue
4.     Chrome - no issue
When I updated FF on the PC to Player version 11. I started getting the issue.
4. The load seems to fail when the app tries to process radio button components ( It assigns values and x, y coords to them)
When I remove the code that processes these the app runs
Any thoughts ?

Bring loaded external swf to the front

Hi,
I am now implementing to create a website using side scrolling platform game approach. Since the player/actor (character that moves according to keyborad events) should always be at the top layer, I am having difficulties to get my loaded swf on top of the player. I am currently using Flash cs6 (as3).
Basically, in my main stage, there are 3 layers. 1 for actionscript, the scond one for player and lastly for background.
Layer player contains player mc and background mc.
Background mc contains visual and collisions layers.
Anything that got to do with visual, i have to put it in visual layer.
In visual layer i have backgroundcontainer mc
So, as i put the button in the backgroundcontainer mc to call the external swf, the loaded external swf appears in the container.
(I am using load/unload snippet code to call the external swf)
I want the external swf to appear on top of the player.

If you want an object to move atop all others you can just use addChild(thatobject), where thatobject is the item you want to move atop anything else. I don't know what object(s) your loop is attempting to act on, but it appears to be trying to change the index of all child objects rather than just one.

Zen micro 6gb trouble with transfering music to the player pls h

I bought on ebay. It's used i download the cd installation. Tried to transfer with media explorer and windows media player, it wont work. The player seems "locked" when ever its connected it wont show the music inside of it, just displays the folders. I cant create, delete, add music whatsoever it keeps saying i/o error folder is exited or removed, and when i try to transfer it says pending for a long time and failed right after. Pls if any can help it would be really appreciated. thx in advance.

Can you flash it with firmware / have you tried that?If a firmware flash works, then try formatting the player. There's plenty of posts about how to do both of these tasks.When that's done, try loading some music. If it still give problems, something serious is wrong. Don't want to sound pesimistic but if it's used and you got it on E-Bay, you could have bought a dud. I've never usedEBay before so forgive me when I ask if you have any sort of comeback - e.g 4 day return period or something. Best of luck

What's best way to load mutilple swfs to the stage?

I'm trying to load 4 swfs to the stage. Think of an mp3/fm
tuner/video player.
I'd like to have the playlist, status bard and menu stay
seperate swf files.

I've recently had problem with a popular internet radio site. Once the player opens and the music plays, all Firefox windows become frozen with no possibility of recovery.

When I load up the internet radio channel on http://www.cheriefm.fr, a new window opens with the player, the music starts playing, but all browser windows become frozen. When I force the closier of the player window, Firefox crashes. I thought Firefox 3.6.9 would solve this problem which has only been occuring recently. This used to work fine with previous versions of Firefox.

Have you made sure that all the other drivers for your system are up to date? Unfortunately, there is not an update available for every device, but those that are available should be downloaded first to maximize compatbility with all devices. All drivers available for your system can be found here. The results can also be filtered by device and operating system using the dropdown menus at the top of the page.

Editing Tags on the Player (Zen 32 GB) and Probs with cover

Hi there,
My dearly beloved Creative Zen touch just snuffed it and I replaced it with the Creative Zen 32 GB.
I am very, very satisfied with the player over all.
Only the Tag editing really annoys me.
On my Zen touch I could edit the tags after loading the tracks on to the player.
Not only one by one but say, all from one album at once.
Is this even possible with the Zen touch?
I accidentally tagged an audiobook with 7 CDs wrongly.
Do I have to erase it and load it on the player again?
That would be sooo uncomfortable.

Oh and what do I have to do, to have the pictures of the albums shown on the zen?
I mean, how are these pictures attached to the tracks of an album?

HT5271 Downloaded latest Apple updates that informed me old versions of Adobe Flash Player were disabled and advised me to go to Adobe and down load latest version of Flash Player. Did that, but Flash Player won't play swf files, which it did before.

Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Delete All
Now select the Storage tab.
Click Delete All
Relaunch Safari to test.

Dashboard fails to load correctly 40% of the time

We have an end user who has a dashboard (.swf file called via a URL)that fails to load correctly about 40% of the time. When it fails they see a blank white screen. At that point if they right click on the screen they see a message "Movie not loaded" and "About Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.117". This is in a
Business Objects and Windows environment, with all Windows 7 PC's. The user I have been working with is using IE version 9.0.8112.16421, update version 9.0.20. His Java is version 6 update 17 (build 1.6.0_17-b04). They have to close and reopen to get the dashboard to run correctly and they don't want to do that. Multiple users at multiple machines have experienced this issue. I have had them change to the latest version of Flash and that did not help resolve the issue. What else should I be having them check to help correct the problem so that it runs correctly every time they click on the link?

Ah, I've been playing around with this and it seems I was mistaken about the nature of the problem.
It is deterministic, for one. It seemed nondeterministic because the action that makes the glasspane paint() fail is the act of giving focus to the JInternalFrame that the glasspane belongs to.
Why does giving focus to a JInternalFrame disable that frame's GlassPane? I can take focus away from it, and the repaint() method starts working again.
