Loading Blackberry Link desktop Software

I have been trying to load BB link software on my new laptop and the download and install will never fully complete. There is a message that comes up and lists a number of set up options etc and after hitting OK the next prompt does not give the option to install or set up. Does anyone know if there are any issues currently loading this software?

It sounds like those images might have synced to your PC and are not also resident on your PC even if they have been deleted from the handheld z10.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Desktop Software error. Need help!

    Hello sir,
I have a surveilance software ( .alx and .cod ) and i want to instal them to my BB Z10 . I have the version of software 10.1.......and when i open the Desktop software i got a error. See here ->>>http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/6417/7d2p.png     Please help me ASAP. Thanks

Oh...that's different from what you first said. If you are not the originator of the app, then the Developer section of this site won't be of any use, for that's for people actually writing the app itself, not those who have various versions of it.
If you can find the bar file of the app somewhere on the internet, you can side-load it to your BB10 via DDPB Installer. There's no guarantee that it'll work correctly, but I've had great luck with side-loads for a few of my favorite apps that are not written for BB10. I don't know how to convert an apk to a bar, but there also are tricks for that. A few minutes searching on Google and I'm sure you'll find all that you need.
    Good luck!

  • Trying to load Blackberry Link on my PC

Trying to load Link on my computer after losing it in crash. However I keep getting an error at the end of the load saying"
"Could not create "C:\windows\temp\WZSE1.tmp" unzip cancelled.

First, on your iPad, share the documents to iTunes. You will be asked for a format to use for the shared document. The choices are Pages, Word and PDF. Select on. If you want to edit the file on your pc and you have MS Office, select Word. Then share the doc to iTunes. You can share all of them that way if you like.
Then start iTunes on your pc. It should be iTunes 11. Connect your iPad to the computer. Select your iPad in iTunes, select Apps from the row of tab presented.
The upper part of the apps window is a list of your apps with some info about them. You want to scroll down below that window to the next section called File Sharing. Look for Pages there and select it. You'll find your docs listed. Transfer them to your pc.
An alternate method is to email them to yourself and get the email on your pc.
Alternately there are some apps that can transfer files. One is called FileExplorer. You can look into those apps to see if they better suit your needs.

  • Userinit.exe Error when loading BlackBerry Software

Hopefully, someone has come across this.
I have loaded the BlackBerry software on a new Acer laptop and after rebooting, I get the following error:
The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812aeb.
I thought at first that it was a memory error with the new laptop. So, I replaced the ram and I still received the same problem.
I then returned the laptop and received another and it's giving me the exact same error message.
There are no events in any of the errors logs.
    Any thoughts?

  • BlackBerry Desktop Software shuts down when connecting secondary device

    All,
I have a main and a secondary phone (used for local SIM when traveling abroad)
After I backup my main device I connect my secondary device to be able to "Restore" and have all my contacts sync on both, but alas, once the secondary device is trying to connect the Desktop Software just shuts down without giving any error
The Backup process itself works great
I use the same cable, same USB Port, both devices have a charged battery and work great on a day to day basis
    Main Device: BlackBerry 9900
    Secondary Device: BlackBerry 9870
    Desktop Software Version: 7.0.0.59 (May 16, 2012 Bundle 60)
Laptop OS: Windows XP Professional SP3
    Thanks

I'm not familiar with this particular package, but with similar packages from other carriers there's usually a setting that lets the program control your Network - it may only say Wi-Fi.
The BlackBerry drivers include a Dial-Up connection which is probably getting shut down by the software which kills Desktop Manager.
If you turn off that option, the problem should go away (reboot probably a good idea).

  • P205 S6267 problem uninstalling blackberry desktop software error 2738

I have been using Blackberry (BB) desktop software on my laptop to connect with my BB Curve 8320 (version 4.5.0.81)
When trying to syncronize with Windows calendar (running vista home premium with sp2) i encountered a problem where the calendar info on the blackberry was sync'd to windows but 16 hours earlier.
I was told by the helpful BB support people at T-mobile that i needed to download version 6.1 of the BB desktop software as this would fix the problem.
i downloaded and installed (they omitted to add that i should have uninstalled version 4.5 before!).
I now have desktop software that still shows version 4.5...... when i open it up. consequently i tried to uninstall using control panel. In control panel it shows version 6.1, but will not uninstall giving me error message 2738    "could not access VB script run time for custom action"
Also tried uninstalling using ccleaner, same result.
    Any ideas out there???
    Thanks

  • Blackberry 7.0 Desktop software not recognising Microsoft Office 2003

The Blackberry 7 Desktop software will not recognize my Microsoft Outlook 2003 contacts and calendar. How can I resolve this so I can Sync to my Touch 9860?

Hello PeterS and welcome to the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Sorry to hear your BlackBerry® Desktop Software is not recognizing your Microsoft® Outlook® client.
For clarification, you are unable to select Outlook from the list when you go to configure they synchronization or are you unable to get just your Contacts and Calendar to sync?
Do you get an error message when you go to configure the sync for your Contacts and Calendar? If so, can you provide that error?
    Thanks!

  • BB Desktop Software will not launch

PC, running Windows XP  - Upgraded to new BB Desktop Software.  Was working for about a month.  Now, Will NOT launch - getting Windows Error
    Error Signature:
    EventType : clr20r3     P1 : rim.desktop.exe     P2 : 6.0.1.18     P3 : 4cfdab9c
    P4 : microsoft.practices.composite     P5 : 2.0.1.0     P6 : 4cfdaa3a
    P7 : 12b     P8 : 50     P9 : sclhiaanmqhkf4zdfpvvwejkphnm1zuj
I re-connected to BB and loaded the "fix" versus the fuill version and still cannot load.
From the Windows Control Panel - Removed the BB Desktop Software and re-booted the PC.  Re-Loaded the full Desktop Software from the BB website.  Still NOTHING - except for the Windows errror.
Dead in the water.  Cannot launch the BB Software to connect and synch BB Storm!  iPhone on Verizon is looking better and better.  Mid-February is NOT coming soon enough.
    Help!

OK  Instead of dueling each other, the issue is my Problem.  If you want to 'duel', please take it off-line.
No one is "dueling" , we are tying to fix your problem.
    Re-stating my Problem:
    1.  I had loaded BB DM6 on a Windows XP PC about 3 months ago with no problems.  In fact, it linked with all aspects of Outlook that I needed  (Calendar, Task and Contacts).  Yeah!!  This did not happen with the 'original' BB DM that I loaded January 2009 when I bought the BB Storm from Verizon, but I lived with this short coming of BB.  Built my calendar and contacts directly into the BB Storm.
So the original installation of the desktop manager software loaded in January 2009 did not correctly function with Outlook.
    2.  OK.  So something happened last week and the BB DM6 will not launch without getting the error message that I put in my 1st Posting of this Problem.
"So something happened". We can only go on your description of the problem. If you have no idea what happened  i couldn't possibly know.  The only "guess" would be an there was an auto update to existing software or you have added software.
    3.  I went to BB and loaded the "Fix" for PC.  Also, this did not Launch BB DM6.
    4.  Unloaded the BB DM6 with the Windows XP Control Panel "Remove Program".  Re-Booted the PC.  Then, went to BB and reloaded the BB DM6.  Same error message and no Launch.
Try using the repair/modify option in the Remove Program function on the DM installation currently loaded on the PC.
    5.  I am far from the "Techie" that the respondants to this Problem are!!  I am a SIMPLE End User of this BB Storm having mucho problems ... all of a sudden ... last week after using BB DM6 without the problems.
    6.  What can a SIMPLE, non-techie End User do?  From the Respondants Postings .. I am reading about Loading Roxio for BB DM from the Roxio website?  Also, reading about that the Unload from the Windows XP Control Panel, Remove Programs, is incomplete for the removal of the BB DM6.  I am being directed to removing 'hidden' files/keys as directed in a BB Problem Solving Posting for the CLEAN Removal of BB DM6--- which is surely not written for the SIMPLE, non-techie End User!!
The error indicates a problem with some Roxio software. If you were using DM with Media manager prior Roxio was a part of that software, or you are running Roxio software. The Roxio information I gave you was to remove Roxio drivers not load Roxio software.
In your description of the January 2009 install  there were problems with the install that were never correctly addressed. What we are suggesting is to remove all traces of the Various installation of desktop manager which includes editing the registry. That is why using Windows remove programs is not sufficient.
Once complete you will be installing a fresh copy of DM on your system, this will ensure that the DM software can correctly integrate wit both Windows and MS Outlook
The install procedure is SUGGESTED as the best resolution to your problem. Whether you run it or not is your decision.
    7.  In simple non-Techie language for this SIMPLE, non-techie End User ... what can I do to fix the problem and be able to launch BB DM6 from my Windows XP PC??
This is as plain "non-techie" as I can write it.
    Thanks,
    Bifocals

  • BB 9790 firmware download problem via Desktop software

Hi , i am using desktop software to download firmware 7.1 for BB 9790 and i always have a problem of the firmware download bombing out at around 95 percent of the total download, and the error says my i must check my internet but there is nothing wrong with my internet.
i have loaded the latest Desktop software but still get the same error, Help!!

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
You can bypass the Desktop Software automated download by, outside of the Desktop Software, first downloading, from the official download portal, the OS package you desire:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html
Then, install that package to your PC. (If the package is from other than your carrier, you will need to delete the VENDOR.XML files.) Now run the Desktop Software and it should offer you this specific BB OS update.
    Good luck!

Hello Mech7010, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
The E2 was discontinued many years ago - I'm surprised you found a "brand new" one...
Palm Desktop 6.2 does run on Win8.  Please view the sticky post at the top of this section titled, "64bit Windows USB drivers for Palm Desktop".   You will need to download and install new drivers.  Follow the directions in the post.

    Hello nealpferd,
Thank you for your question regarding BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac and language support.
All language packs for BlackBerry smartphones are provided to BlackBerry smartphone users by the wireless service provider where the BlackBerry smartphone was purchased. The language packs are contained in the BlackBerry Device Software for the specific BlackBerry smartphone model and specific wireless service provider.

I am currently running Windows 7 64-bit SP1. I have tried to installed Blackberry Desktop software using 710_b042_multilanguage.exe from your site.
