Loading compressor support freezes

FCP X is freezing and closing--the problem appears to be "loading compressor support." I have Compressor 4 and have never encountered this problem until today. Any fixes?

Well, after restarting and also trashing layouts for the tenth time, it seems to be working. Very frustrating evening spent on this. Hope you've had similiar success... Although, a more meaningful and longterm resolution to this would be great! Anyone?

Loading compressor support

Hi....after trying to open Final Cut Pro X my computer gets stuck on "loading compressor support".....
How do I fix this?

You should be able to go into the App Store application on your Mac and click on the Purchases selection at the top. The next window to open up should tell you what you have bought and if it is installed yet. If it says Install, you still need to install it. It can take a while to download. If you interrupt the download, and start it again later, it will resume where it left off earlier. When the download has completed, your system will automatically install the app for you. When it is installed, you will be able to go to your applications folder on your docking bar and open it and launch Compressor. It will run as a stand alone application or from within Final Cut Pro X. If it runs okay as a stand alone app, then exit out of it. Afterwards, you should be able to now run it from within Final Cut Pro X.

FCP X crashes when trying to load compressor support. It refuses to launch no matter what. Somewhat of a crisis since I am a professional editor for 20 years and on deadline with a couple of TV commercials. Ideas? Thanks.

Finalcut wont load completely, compressor support loading

I have looked at the other forum chats about this, but no luck.
Problem:
finalcut prox does not load all my projects correctley and has the start-up apple logo that says "Compressor Support loading....."
things I have tried:
1. deleting com.apple.finalcut plist. thingy
2. tried start up without my ext HD
3. put in trash FC and re-downloaded FC from app store.
still happens.

If you have FxFactory installed, remove the corresponding plug-in. Seems this helped here.

Help! FCP X freezes at loading compressor resources

I purchased compressor 4 and it is installed in my applications folder. I went to restart FCP X and the splash screen for FCP X stays on the screen saying "loading compressor resources" and won't go away. I can quit the program via Command-Q, but am unable to do anything else. I have rebooted, wiped .plist files, but no luck...any ideas?

I have FCP7 installed. If that is the problem, then I am stuck with it for now. I have a huge amount of legacy projects, which I need to keep.
It is such a strange error, because everything seems to load, the elements and projects are all showing and just at the end it seems to lose contact with the external hard drive, which is a WD firewire 800. It actually still has a hold on it, because I can't dismount it at that point, because it says it is in use by FCPX. I haven't tried to see if I connect it with usb the problem might go away, although I saw that as a suggestion.
Actually in its latest reincarnation, FCPX doesn't hang, it just says there are no projects or elements because the hard drive has disappeared from its list. It sometimes works to then force quit fcpx, and tell it not to save the window settings and then restart it. It seems almost random as to if it loads properly or not. Doesn't matter if I am running 10.6.8 or 10.7. whatever. It is not so uncommon a problem, because there are a lot of posts about it. I haven't found the definitive post with a fix though.
I am now thinking of duplicating the project to a differnt external drive and then dismounting the external drive I have been using.

"Loading Device List" Freeze

When I connect up my Casio EX-S600 camera to my computer, Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 automatically launches the photo downloader. However, the screen shows the words "Loading Device List" but does nothing and freezes. I have to go into System Manager to kill it.
My wife has the same camera and it does the same with hers.
I have re-installed APASE V3.2 and this has not cured it. I have looked through the questions and answers on the forum and have seen folks having a similar problem but no definitive answer to it. I have seen it suggested that it is something to do with "Preferences" but when I try to go into this part of the software, it also freezes.
I have also gone into the Customer Support part of the web-site and followed the steps suggested there, again with no result.
I have upgraded the software on the camera to the latest version, again with no result.
I believe the problem arose at the same time as I upgraded to APASE V3.2
Any suggestions?

I use Norton System Works and Norton Internet Security. Firstly, I disabled every Norton component that I could. The APASE software still freezes. Secondly, just to be sure, I uninstalled Norton completely but still the APASE software freezes. I have now reinstalled Norton and all the required upgrades (which took a few days!) and still the APASE "loading device list" freezes.
"My Computer" shows the camera and I can transfer photos to "My Photos" from the camera and then use APASE to "get photos from file" but this is an unsatisfactory "get round" really.
Incidentally, I have just bought a Summit Photofix copier with Photoimpression 6.0 to copy negatives onto my hard drive. When I open the software and try to transfer an image, "Windows XP encounters a problem" and closes the software. I haven't solved this one yet but it may be related. I have also tried to re-load this software, including when Norton was uninstalled, but it hasn't helped the problem.

Unable to load the support DLL (webaccess setup)

I'm installing GW8 SP2 HP3. So far I've installed the domain, PO and GWIA. They work just fine. Now I'm trying to install the WebAccess agent. When I run the setup I receive the following error message:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\2\{ad3aed10-0f09-11d3-93d8-0008c7392dd7}\WAZAGB32.DLL
When I go to that temp location, the files are all there, including the above mentioned DLL. In my forum searches I found similar messages, but they were all caused by a missing Novell Client. I have the Novell Client 2 SP1 installed. I even installed the latest IR9 update to see if that helped.
I installed the previous hotpatch just fine (GW8SP2HP2). When I try to run the old hotpatch webaccess installer, it fails with the same error. So obviously something changed between the time I installed the previous and this hotpatch on my system. I just can't figure out what.
Does anyone have an idea as to what might be causing this error?
I'm running on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

Syncing requires a backup as part of the sync process.
Delete any existing backups in iTunes under Edit > Preferences > Devices (or simply move them to a different folder on the computer) then try a backup or sync.

Oracle Application Testing Suite is mainly used for testing of applications from a end user perspective and offers an intuitive capture/replay for web, Siebel, EBS, JDE, Fusion apps or SOA based application through WebServices WSDL imports.
The scripting environment (Oracle OpenScript) does not support script creation by recording JAVA RBI or T3 protocol as we lack a recorder for it, but the scrips are created as pure JAVA code so you could use the JAVA language to write a small RMI cor T3 client for your testing.
We have customers that have used Application Testing Suite to test non-UI based testing, like: JMS, FTP, Tuxedo and others, but it require a bit of coding.

I am trying to install Windows 7 using Bootcamp when I received the above error. Does anyone know if this is temporary or, alternatively, if the support drivers are available elsewhere

You have not provided enough information. What operating system are you running. If Snow Leopard the support software is in your OSx installation disk. If Lion or Mountain Lion the download servers are notoriously slow. Keep trying.
