"Loading..." does not go away

Hi,
If I browse thru my D2X NEFs, I get sometimes the "Loading..." on top of the photo. The problem is, that it often stays with the status "Loading..." and does not get rendered.
Aperture has nearly 0% CPU usage.
Looks like it does not realize that there is still work to do.;-)
Who has the same problem?
JO

I have seen this as well. I can't say right now if the images were from a 10D or a 20D, but it was one of the two (or both).
The loading overlay doesn't go away, the CPU usage is nill, and the image is still in it's 'preview' state.
If I select another image and come back to the original, the image is converted fully and the loading overlay goes away.
Happens fairly frequently, maybe 3-4 times per hour I'd estimate.

  • Print dialog window does not go away

    Hi,
    This is an issue I've experienced many times. When I try to print a web page from Safari, the print dialog opens, I select the printer and/or orientation, then I click on the "OK" button. But, the window does not respond, Safari seems to be working (it does not appear as 'not responding' in the 'force quit' dialog and the menus are selectable. But the window does not go away, nothing is sent to the printer, and Safari does not respond to certain operations such as moving to another tab, go back, or change the url, so basically I am stuck, no printing, and end up closing safari to open it again.

    Hello mario:
    Is this an intermittent problem, or does it happen all the time? I would, at a minimum, run repair disk from your software install DVD and also run permission repair from your HD.
    I would also trash the Safari preference file (com.apple.safari.plist) and restart.
    Of course, the problem could lie in the connectivity with your printer, but that is another issue.

  • (LDOM) The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.

    Sorry if this is not the right forum - it seems to be the closest one for things about LDOMs; plese let me know if I should post somewhere else.
    I have installed LDoms_Manager-1_2.zip on a T5220 Server; following the book ("Logical Domains 1.2 Administration Guide") I set up the control domain etc, then a guest domain (cranachan) - so far all appears well. I downloaded the dvd iso of Solaris 10 (sol-10-u7-ga-sparc-dvd.iso) and added it to the guest as described, started the domain and issued "boot vdisk_iso:f -v" - this seemed to work well, but there was an error that turned out to be that I had given the wrong path for the system disk.
    So I started over - removed the guest domain and the disk definitions for both guest and control domain, and removed the guest; then recreated everything. This time, when I "boot vdisk_iso:f -v" I get:
    The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.
    Any idea what may have happened? It makes no sense to me; not unless the iso file has been corrupted, but it doesn't seem to have been modified, and I can mount it as a loop-back fs in linux.

    I have the same problem with a Netra T1 system. Solaris 10 installed fine and it won't boot. It did have Solaris 8 on the system, but I put in new drives to start my Solaris 10 install.
    I tried booting to single user cd-rom (ok boot cdrom -s) and ran this:
    # installboot /usr/platform/SUNW,UltraAX-i2/lib/fs/ufs/bookblk /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s1
    (SUNW,UltraAX-i2 was derived from # uname -i)
    It didn't help.
    I also tried "setenv diag-switch? false" at the okay prompt. It didn't help
    Any thoughts?

  • Error The file just loaded does not appear to be executable.

    Hi there,
    I have some problems with a Sun Fire T2000. Solaris 10 was installed one year ago. The server went down and now I am trying to connect to recover the dates and make a new installation.
    Booting the server, I don't get any message. If I type #. I reach to sc> mode and from there I can get to ok prompt. From either mode, I can't get in the operating system.
    From the ok prompt I issued "show-disks" and I booted with the cdrom choosing the option from the output of "show-disks". I got the "The file just loaded does not appear to be executable."
    I searched the error and then I booted with "boot cdrom -s" and I got the "ERROR: /virtual-devices@100/console@1: Last Trap: Division by Zero".
    Please advice for a new installation.
    Thank you.

    Hi, and again thanks.
    I understood that this server runs on different levels, like with firmware OpenBoot (ok prompt) or System Controll (sc>).
    I understood the different setups can be made from ok prompt, like the problem I have now.
    I am at the ok prompt. The "printenv" showed me that I was booting from net1, which is wrong because the installation just ended. So I changed to "disk" following your indications. I checked with printenv and indeed the boot sequence was changed to boot disk.
    I issued the boot command I after the message "Boot device: disk File and args:" it looks like hanging. I am sure I can get back to sc> prompt but it looks like a loop to me: how do I get into the operating system? I looks I can switch only from ok to sc and backwards. But, after booting I'd like to enter in Solaris OS, not OpenBoot firmware or System Control...
    Thank u for the time and listening.

  • I NEED DESPERATE HELP! ADWARE THAT DOES NOT GO AWAY NO MATTER WHAT I TRY

    So I was downloading something to my computer and, of course, I got stuck with that Only Search thing and no matter what I try it DOES NOT GO AWAY. I tried turning off my extensions, I tried switching networks, I tried resetting safari. Deleting my history. Every. Single. Thing.
    And nothing works.
    Pleas please PLEASE someone help me with getting rid of this I HATE having an adware.

    There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
    You may have installed the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.
    Malware is always changing to get around the defenses against it. These instructions are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
    Back up all data before proceeding.
    Step 1
    From the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
    Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot," "Trovi," or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.
    Reset the home page and default search engine in all the browsers, if it was changed.
    Step 2
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/LaunchAgents/com.vsearch.agent.plist
    Right-click or control-click the line and select
              Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
    from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "com.vsearch.agent.plist" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
    Repeat with each of these lines:
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.vsearch.daemon.plist
    /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.vsearch.helper.plist
    Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Then delete the following items in the same way:
    /Library/Application Support/VSearch
    /System/Library/Frameworks/VSearch.framework
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ConduitNPAPIPlugin.plugin
    Some of these items may be absent, in which case you'll get a message that the file can't be found. Skip that item and go on to the next one.
    The problem may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
    This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow.
    You may be wondering why you didn't get a warning from Gatekeeper about installing software from an unknown developer, as you should have. The reason is that the Internet criminal behind VSearch has a codesigning certificate issued by Apple, which causes Gatekeeper to give the installer a pass. Apple could revoke the certificate, but as of this writing has not done so, even though it's aware of the problem. This failure of oversight has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
    *If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
    from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • Loader Does not work

    my Loader Does Not Work. i am create loader with animation.
    total animation are build a 100 frame.code should be write but
    loader does not work .Please help................

    Not sure why you are doing it that way but here is a loader
    script I use all the time that I got off a tutorial a while back it
    is percent driven. You may or may not want to use it but you might
    be able to modify it to your own need. It basuically displays the
    percent in a dynamic text box and makes a movieClip named loadBar
    expand based on percent loaded.
    onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
    loading = _parent.getBytesLoaded();
    total = _parent.getBytesTotal();if (percent == undefined)
    percent = 0;
    percent -= (percent-((loading/total)*100))*.25;
    per = int(percent);
    percentage = per+"%";
    loadBar._width = per;
    if (percent>99) {
    _parent.gotoAndStop(2); }
    }

  • "pending updates" status does not go away after updating apps

    When I download app updates to my computer (Windows 7) via iTunes and then sync to either my iphone or ipad (iOS 8.1.2), the updates actually install and the apps can then be opened. However the status of the applications in the App Store remains as "pending updates", and the badge notifications do not go away, even if I do a hard reboot. If I update over wifi, there is no issue. This is very annoying. Any suggestions?

    Ok since my last post the notifications does not go away on its own. There has to be a way to remove that...

  • Connecting symbol does not go away

    I recently purchased a Touch by HTC and found that the software it comes with only runs on windows. So I did some searching and found a program called syncmate. The first time I connected my phone, there were no problems at all, I was able to add my device to the list and all was well. However the second time I connected my phone, i got this symbol- http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb171/t-man1994/usb.png -
    and it does not go away.I have tried everything from restarting the phone, to restarting the computer. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

    Sometimes software-problems can be fixed when you restore your ipod complete.
    try it.

  • "Charged" icon does not go away when 5th gen Ipod is disconnected

    When I unplug my Ipod from either the wall charger or computer USB cable, the Charged icon does not go away. After sitting idle, when it would normally go into sleep mode, the big green Charged icon displays on the center of the screen.
    This obviously prevents the battery meter from reading correctly, and I think it's causing the battery to die prematurely.
    I've tried restarting and updating the Ipod software. Any suggestions short of restoring??

      Windows XP

    I am having the same problem!
    I had my ipod 5th gen docked to a iHome alarm clock, and after pressing the button on my remote to shut off the alarm the charged screen popped up a few seconds later (this is normal) however, the screen never went off, it is currently still showing the large charged battery symbol in the middle of the screen while being backlit.
    I have tried the 5R's and this does not help. Do i need to bring it in to be serviced? Did you resolve your issue?
