Loading files more than 7 mb

Hello,
I know that there is an issue in BPEL loading files more than 7 mb. By increasing the JVM memory (using the mx parameter) we can bypass that (and it works fine). The problem is we loose the execution trace of the BPEL process in the management console. Is there any workaround for that ?
Thanks for you input / help on that issue.

By the way, since it is very large XML files with a lot of children nodes, we cannot split the XML file... ;-)

    Hi Ram,
    We can load the data to target morethan one datasource.Thats advantage in BI compare to BW. It will accept loading from more than one datasource.but you have to take care about characteristic and attributes are the same in both datasources like that.

    The 'traditional' way the 32-bit virtual address space is split is 1 : 3GB (kernel : user). RHEL 3 hugemem kernel has a 4 : 4 GB split, recommended for >16GB RAM machines.
    In the case of Oracle server on RHEL, the 'default' theoretical max is around 1.7GB for SGA, or 2.7GB with hugemem kernel. That is, if you configure things correctly. E.g. have you set the shm kernel parameters?
    What is exactly the problem you run into?

  • Buying Aperture 3 App, can it be loaded onto more than one computer?

    Thinking about getting the Aperture 3 app for my computer and was wondering if the app can be loaded to more than one computer; or do I need to buy the boxed version from the store?

    From the App Store FAQ, "..Apps from the Mac App Store may be used on any Macs that you own or control for your personal use."
    You would need to log into the App Store on each Mac using the same Apple ID that was used to originally purchase the Aperture from the App Store.

  • Loading big files (more than 30MBs)  as byte arrays

    Hello everybody,
    I have an application in which I need to load files as byte arrays, but when I load a file with a size of 30MBs (aprox) or more I get this exception:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
    The code I'm using to load the files is this:
                   byte[] bb = null;
                   Security.addProvider(new BouncyCastleProvider());
                   try{
                        FileInputStream fis =
                        new FileInputStream(file);
                        bb = new byte[fis.available()];
                        fis.read(bb);
                        fis.close();
                   }catch(IOException e){
                        e.printStackTrace();
         any ideas on this issue?'
    thanks,
    johnny

    You really think you need to load the whole shebang
    in one chunk of memory? And even if you get 30MB to
    fit in, what if your file is 10 times that big - what
    then? You need to redesign it so that it scales well.The reason is that I have to digitally sign the file, and the libraries I'm using (BouncyCastle) receive the file as a byte array, so I need to load the file as that to pass it to the libraries :-(
    What do you think?

  • Playing a sound file more than once in a row?

    OK, so I got the PlayWavFile code from the Internet, and I've modified it a bit so that it has a play method, but I'm trying to get it to play 5 times in a row. The thing is, I can't seem to get a for loop to work around it. Also, since I've never messed with sound before, I'm wondering: What is a line in reference to sound? I don't understand the comments.
    Here is the code I'm trying to execute (Note: I used skype-ringer.wav as an example, but any wav file will do):

    }I've tried putting the for loop around the try block in the PlayWavFile.play method, but nothing works so far. What am I supposed to do if I want the file to play multiple times?

    I don't know if this will help. It's old - I haven't looked at it in at least five years - when I used to use hungarian notation
    What might help is using "m_SourceDataLine.isRunning()" in your for loop.
    private     SourceDataLine      m_SourceDataLine    = null;
    private     boolean             m_bOk;
    private     AudioInputStream    m_AudioInputStream     = null;

    if ( AudioSystem.isLineSupported( Port.Info.SPEAKER ) )
        String     strFile     = "SOUND528.WAV";
        File f = new File ( strFile );
        if ( f != null  &&  f.isFile() == true )
            m_AudioInputStream = AudioSystem    .getAudioInputStream    ( f );
            if ( m_AudioInputStream != null )
                //     more than enough to hold the complete file.
                m_bytesToWrite           = new byte[ 10000 ];
                //     Read the file and remember how many bytes were actually read.
                m_iBytesRead          = m_AudioInputStream     .read     ( m_bytesToWrite, 0, m_bytesToWrite.length );
                //     Now that you have read the file find out its format.
                AudioFormat          AF     = m_AudioInputStream     .getFormat     ();
                //     Clips don't allow pre-loading.  You must load it and play it at the same time.
                //DataLine.Info     info     = new DataLine               .Info           ( Clip.class, AF );
                //m_Clip                    = (Clip) AudioSystem     .getLine     ( info );
                //m_Clip     .open          ( AIS );
                //     SourceDataLine's allow you to pre-read and play later.
                DataLine.Info     info     = new DataLine          .Info                ( SourceDataLine.class, AF );

  • Every page I load takes more than a minute to load - clicking anywhere gives message that firefox is not responding. I don't like this version, it sucks - tabs are not defined well, can barely see them.

    for instance, if I load www.msnbc.com it will take more than a minute to fully load in that if I click on a link or try to scroll, the entire browser locks up, if I try to scroll, or click on the page, I get the message that the program is not responding.

    If you've updated from a version as ancient as 3.5.4, then you run the risk of encountering problems. You should start with a fresh profile to ensure old preferences, data files and changes made by extensions are not interfering.
    First, create a backup copy of your profile folder, just to be safe.
    * [[Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles]]
    Then use the Reset Firefox feature.
    * [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]]
    If the problem persists, see the following article.
    * [[Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix]]
    Do not reinstall old versions of Firefox. They contain security vulnerabilities and shouldn't be used. Very old versions might also be unable to handle data files in your profile folder in their new formats, which can lead to all sorts of problems. And lastly, many websites require a modern browser to work properly.

  • Not able to load pages more than 3 times continuosly

    Hi
    JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, BPM/SOA 11.1.1.6, WLS 10.3.6, Database : MS SQL Server 2008 R2
    I am not very sure if it is related to BPM or ADF, but it looks more like an ADF error..
    We have a BPM process with some human tasks. The human tasks pages are ADF pages.
    The pages / user tasks are opened properly for a few times, but does not load after that, until we close all the browser windows.
    I am getting these errors intermittently whenever I try to open a human task page in the BPM Workspace.
    (Common observation is that for the first few times the pages open properly. After more than 3+ times of opening the same task repeatedly, I a getting these 2 errors).
    The page stops rendering after the last text '<div' tag.
    Following are the 2 exceptions we see in the logs of the server.
    We are using MS Sql Server 2008 R2 for database.
    I tried with both Type 4 XA and Non XA versions of the JDBC Connections, but still getting the same error messages.
    Can anyone please let us know if we might be missing anything.
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
    depends on whether you control the BPM task flow or not. If you do, have a look at this thread for how to debug the problem
    How to debug "Attempt to validate an already invalid RegionSite"?
    Otherwise, post it to the SOA forum if this is initiated by their generated code. The most common reason though is that the task flow lacks a default activity. So if the default activity is somewhat calculated dynamically in your application then this may be a reason

  • Unable to upload file more than 2 MB

    Hi I am trying to uplaod a file to Oracle DB using struts . The file is being stored as a blob datatype . When the file-size is more than 2 MB the file does not get uplaoded . The property mapped to the form attribute returns null . IBelow is part of the jsp code
    <html:form styleId="sponsorBio" action='<%=response.encodeURL("/sponsorBioUpdate.do")%>' method="POST" enctype="multipart/form-data" >
    <TR>
    <TD valign="top" class="txt_12_dblue">Attach Biography Document</TD>
    <TD valign="top" class="txt_12_dblue">:</TD>
    <TD><html:file name="biographyForm" property="biography.formFile" /></TD>
    </TR>
    The property biography.formFile is coming as null in the backend
    Can anyone pls help .

    2 megabytes or 2 gigabytes? I could see a limitation with the former (as this is the size of the absolute value of the max of a signed int). But 2mb seems more like some configuration option is fouling your upload. What and how are you using to parse the multi-part?

  • Data Load taking more than 24 hrs

    Hi All,
    We are in the process of loading the data from R3 to BW. It’s taking more than 24hrs to load 1 yr data. This is because of complexity of ABAP code its taking this much time. We did all the possible ways to improve the performance of the code. But no luck.
    In case if the same thing happened in the production system, then how should I forward with the data load as it’s taking more than 24 hrs for 1 yr data.
    I m Planning to load int with out data transfer 1st and then Full load.
    Please correct if I m wrong.
    Thanks,
    RS.

    Hi,
    where is your ABAP code complexity loacted? in R/3 or in BW?
    Are you talking about loading in empty cube taking long time? extraction time?
    Analyze the different steps in your monitor and tell us where is the bottleneck;
    If you already know the above and you have performed all the tunings (e.g. number range buffereing when filling an empty cube...) then you're correct; init without data and then full loads.
    As suggested you could segment your full loads and even run them in paralel...
    hope this helps...

  • Redo Log Files - more than 12 per hour

    Hello @all,
    I have a problem with my redo log files. I get more than 12 switches per Hour. I have 3 Files with 5oM size. I increased the sitz to 15o M, but
    I still have 12 switches per hour.
    Do anyone know, what I did wrong?
    Database:
    Oracle 9i
    Thanks

    Hello @all,
    yes I know, that 3 switches per hour are perfekt, but I had increased the Size from 5o M to 15oM already and the amount from switches, are not reduced.
    So there must be something else, that causes the log switches.Martin,
    As I said somewhere above too, 150meg is a tiny size if you are managing a production db. I have already mentioned that make your log file size to at least 500meg and than check. As for the high redo activity, only you can confirm that whether this has been started from now only or was happening before too? In anycase, for an active oltp, 500 to 1gb of redo log file size should be okay.
    For the extra redo generation, you have been given link for mining log files using logminer. Try using it to see what is causing extra redo.
