hi friends.
i have a requirement to load gml file into oralce . i.e i have a file with extension *.gml(3.2)* . can any give me solution to load gml into oracle.

You do not mention your database version so that makes your question complicated to answer.
Well at the moment officially Oracle Spatial does not support GML 3.2. They only support GML 3.1 on 11g and GML 2.0 on 10g. So if you are using 10g you would need to write your own XML parser for GML 3.2 but you would need to directly parse them as CLOBs as the 10g XMLTYPE does not allow an XML payload greater than 64K. You'd be okay if all your data was points or if you could somehow guarantee that the vectors always fit under 64K. In general 10g is kind of a no go for GML 3.x in my opinion.
If you are using 11g things are much better. In terms of the geometries themselves I have not found any difference from 3.1 to 3.2 beyond the change in namespace and the addition of the gml:id tag.

So you should be able to read your GML 3.2 into SDO_GEOMETRY fairly easily with SDO_UTIL.TO_GML311GEOMETRY. But please note that you cannot just throw your GML file at this utility and expect SDO_GEOMETRY to magically pop out. Rather you need to sift through your GML yourself isolating the geometry parts, capturing any needed attribute values and then input the geometry tags alone into the utility. also before running Can you right click on the Source Datastore and click on Journal Data and can you see the data ? and if still the data is not passing through ,in that case make temporary objects t- yes in LKM , IKM and debug and see at which step data is not flowing through and look if there is any filter or condition which is stopping it .
Still not able to figure out please tell us which step the data is not flowing through we will try to guide you.

BIA Index Loading into Mmeory (for SAP) ....

I went to www.sdn.sap.com and chose Business Intelligence from the left menu.
In the BI Knowledge Center (Right side), I chose BI Accelerator, which is under Key Topics section.
Then I opened a document "SAP Business Intelligence Accelerator (PDF 154 KB)".
Go to the section "SAP BI Accelerator at Work", which is at page# 5. The third point says like this -
BI accelerator indexes are loaded into memory where the query is processed. In memory, joins and aggregations are done at run time. Loading of indexes into memory happens automatically at first query request, or it can be set for preloading whenever new data is loaded.
I had an understanding that it will be loaded into memory only when query was first executed. But this says it can be set for preloading as well wherever new data loaded.
My question is that where this setting can be done for preloading?
It says that preloading option is available whenever new data loaded so does that mean that it can only be set for rollup of BIA Index and for initial load, it will still load data into memory when the query is first executed.
I would appreciate if somebody has knowledge of this as it is new technology.
Others, who has a knowledge can also answer.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I found it.
It is an option on BIA Index Property button in the wizard. It appears only after the initial load is done. There is check box for to keep the BIA Index in main store. I thin it is only applicable to Roll-up.

.gif files will not load into site

I posted a question earlier about pages not loading and the question was answered, but now my .gif files will not load. Below is the log:

I have them loading into the images folder that is in the htdocs folder.
I stated in my previous question that I am self taught via the adobe DW tutorial. I had a catastrophic computer crash and had to reload everything. I apparently did not tell DW which file to load into before and now that is fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was never a big fan of using DW to FTP. There are several FTP programs that you might find work better than DW. For example Filezilla, free and works pretty darn well.

For me, being able to graphically see my local site on one half my screen and the site as it sits on the server on the other half of the screen really helps me quickly spot problems if I upload something and it doesn't display.
Anyway... DW is not the only option for loading files to your server.

Qosmio F - Unable to load into Windows or anything

Yesterday, while studying other day outside another student bumped the table I was studying on. I would say "tapped" as it was not that hard. The normal message appears where it says the laptop will move the harddrive to a safe location etc.
Shortly after maybe 10-20mins, I get a message on the laptop screen asking me to "backup the laptop" as there was some major error or failure. I clicked on the "additional information" and it basically said all my drives C:, G: and whatever I had disk failure or something. Unable to backup the laptop as I did not have CD's present to back it up with I took it home to do i today.
The laptop is refusing to even load into windows at the moment. Unable to back up or anything. Keeps loading into options about system repair, restore, memory diagnostics etc. nothing fixes it.
I've only purchased the laptop since oct/nov of 2010. Didnt start using it till jan/feb of this year also. Should I attempt to open up the HDD as it might have loosen out at the back or? Should I send it back to manufacturer to look at? It's critical exam time for me and this is devastating! Also flying overseas late June after exams and wishing to take the laptop over there. Please help! Thanks advance for all advice and suggestions.

Your posting is a little bit hard to understand and a screenshot of this error message would be useful but if you get an message about defective HDD and all partitions you should contact an authorized service provider in your country.
Your notebook should be still under warranty so the guys can replace the HDD for free. If you need some important data you can ask if they can rescue some files and do a backup. Alternative you can try it yourself if you buy an external HDD case for example. Then you can connect the HDD via USB to another computer.

How can I reference the main timeline on a swf once it was loaded into another?

I have an swf with some custon animation functions using actionscript 3. I'm refering to the main timeline with Movieclip(root) and it works just fine.
However, this swf is going to be loaded inside another (a custom player), and when that happends, everything stops working.
I think it's because the Movieclip(root) is now referencing to the loader swf and not the loaded anymore, but I just can't find any information on how to fix that.

This is basically what I´m doing here:

The swf works fine, but once it´s loaded into the player, nothing works anymore. Unfortunately, I don't have the code for the player, and can't change anything about it... :/

Report XML output fail to load into .RTF layout [EBS r12]

Hi,
In EBS r12, we have requirement to have a standard report output in excel.
I got the report's xml output to create the xml template (.RTF layout) using BI Publisher.
I created the .RTF layout and it works fine on my laptop using Bi Publisher.. the xml loads into it and i can preview xml data on layout with all format (Excel, PDF...)
I uploaded the layout to EBS, and assigned it to the standard report.
I changed standard report out put to XML
When i go to submit report request, the template is assigned with report and everything seems correct.

But after i run the report.
The report is Completed with Warning status.. and output is only XML with Error message :

How to find OPP log file?
To investigate on XML issues or other publishing problems, often the OPP logfile is needed.
OPP stands for Output Post Processor. Below are the steps to find log file
1. Login to the application as SYSADMIN
2. Responsibility: System Administrator
3. Function: Concurrent --> Manager --> Administration
4. Select the Output Post Processor
5. Click on the Processes button
6. Select the Concurrent Process which was active during the time that the request ran
7. Click on the Manager Log button to open the Output Post Processor log file

How do I get my XML numeric values to show up when loaded into flash?

I've created an AS2 3D carousel It loads text values in the "content" section of the code below - including numbers and special characters into the .swf but...
What I can't figure out, is how to get it so that the "Tooltip" loads the text into the movieclip, but can also have numeric and special characters in it.
For example, I need the title of one of the icons on this carousel to be "3D Images," but only the "D Images" shows up from the XML text for the tooltip. The content when a user clicks on the icon can include numbers, just not the titles for some reason.

How many photos can you load into Organizer and Editor

How many photos can you load into Organizer and Editor at one time. I receive the error message, "Unable to Import Files", which says "You exceeded number of files that can be selecteed and imported at once...." What is the number? Secondly is there a way around this for either the Organizer or Editor to work on thousands of photos at the same time?

I have never heard of this particular limit before.
Please understand, this appears to be the limit you can import into the Organizer at one time -- you can have as many photos as you want in the Organizer; but apparently you have to import in batches rather than all at once.
I don't think it applies to the editor; and I can't imagine wanting to have more then a few files in the editor at any one time ... even if you could open 2000 photos in the editor at once, what sense would that make?

Or if you want to grab all the paths programatically, try the attached VI.
Open the top level that you want all the paths from and close all others, then open the
attached and run it. It will return an array of all the VIs that the VI
in question uses, including vi.lib VIs. You can filter these as well if
you like.

Error while loading into DTP

Hi,
I am loading data to a DSO from 0FI_AP_30. PSA I am able to load successfully but while loading this PSA data to DTP i get the following error message:

and in help this is the respose:
Diagnosis
The request REQU_D44GG0YIPPH7NBQ5F1VOCB890 was loaded into the PSA table when the DataSource had a different structure to the current one. Incompatible changes have been made to the DataSource since then and the request cannot be extracted with the DTP anymore.
System Response
The request is in PSA /BIC/B0001232, version 001. The current PSA version is 002. An extraction would lead to a short dump because of field incompatibilities.
Procedure
If you no longer require the data, you do not need to take any further action.
If you do still require the data, you can just extract it by creating a generic DataSource in the Myself source system in PSA /BIC/B0001232, version 001. You can find the technical name of the PSA table in the table RSTSODS with the specified PSA name and version. Convert the data using a separate transformation into the new target format.
Please let me know what can be done for this? pl give me the solution.

I am also facing the same error for data source 2LIS_03_BF, i am unable to load the same in one DSO, can you elaborate how you solved your issue ASAP?
I can't run IP because this data source requires downtime in ecc. We have already done that.
