Loading issue..missing records .. randomly

HI ALL,
Thanks for ur replies.
We found on 11/09 some records are missing from last 6 months ( 3 to 4 records for each group with diff dates) in daily delta loads 1pm.
It is very difficult to load each group as full loads on that dates.
We did repeat delta with no selections on 12.09.2005 at 9 am (loads 8 million rec) and on the same day daily delta also run at 1pm( it also loads 8 million rec) . Finally we seen on 13/09 we get duplicate records. We forcibly removed these request which we had run on 12th (i.e Repeat Delta & Delta). Those were now in reconstruct tab.
How to get my missed records from 6 months? How to handle this with out effecting cube data?
Can we do selections in repeat delta / delta cases?
Initialization was done on 04/04/2004.
What is the reason for missing these recors?/
pls tell the step wise.

It is 2.X , I think so, its not possible Full repir request here.
You Mean 1)re-init with transfer/without transfer ? selection?( before this we should remove previous init load) 2) then daily delta.

My suggestion would be since we have the option of transfered date in the selection conditions of infopackage , what we have do is we can do selective deletion of the contents of last and current month based on the closing date of the HR system and load only that data .
For ex: if you want to delete the contents of MAY 2005 and June 2005 , and the delta failed lies in the month of May 2005. so delete the two months and load only May 2005 in a separate infopackage. After that you can continue your normal loads with the month June 2005. By this way we wont miss any data as you are loading to cube no problem of duplication.
Is it advisable??

Report issue - missing records

I have written a workflow to route an oppty record to a certain book upon selecting a checkbox on the oppty page. The records are routing fine as expected. And when I login as that user and run a list with the specified book selected in the lookin selector, I can see those records. However when I run a realtime report with that book in the lookin selector, I don't get any results.
1. I have given the user access to this book.
2. I have made this book the default book for analytics for him.
3. I have given access to oppties and books at role level.
Please suggest what I may have missed.

In Real time reports, the records in the sub books are not reflected in the reports. Hence, please let me know if the records are there in the sub books or in the books.

HR_BLP_SAVE_TIMEDATA and how to load high volume records onto Infotype 2001

Because of high data volume (estimated 1 million records each run) and short SLA time requirement (runs every 2 hours), we chose to use functions that are called by CAT6 (Skipping the CATS to HR info types loading process) to load the time records directly into Infotype 2001 and Infotype 2002.
Now we discover that some records (sporadically and randomly) don't get loaded onto the infotype and they don't return from the error message table either. We are wondering whether anyone has used these functions before, and how they resolve the issues of missing records / error handling.
We are also wondering if there is any other feasible solution to meet our customer's need.
The two functions we use are: HR_BLP_MAINTAIN_TIMEDATA and HR_BLP_SAVE_TIMEDATA

Missing records in BW

Hi friends,
We load sales order daily in our Quality system using a process chain, but lately we are facing a strange issue. The records in BW rae not matching in R/3.
EX: on 17.10.2007 in VBAK table there are around 6500 Orders created (Created on), the same will be loaded to our BW ODS without any transformation or restrictions, so we should get the same number of records. Instead we got 100 records only.
This missing records is not happening every day. It happened in the 1st week of OCt and also on 17th of Oct rest other days its OK.
I wanted to know if anyone of u have faced similar issue? if yes how did u solve ( Filling up of setup tables for the missing records is not the solution), what i am looking at is is there any programs which deletes records either from the LBWQ or RSA7?.
Your help is very much needed.

Thanks a lot for ur quick reply. We are loading data for Header, Item and conditions in BW, we are not doing any transformations anywhere from R/3 BW, its all 1-2-1 mappings.
We have been loading this for last 2 yrs, it suddenly started misbehaving. I suspect there must be some job which might be deleteing the records from RSA7, but im not sure if there is any prog or job which does this.

SAP Mobile Sales 2.0 delta load issue for Sales Orders

Hello,
we have used Mobile Sales 2.0 with a Windows app for a while now. Our current issue is that sales reps won't see any historical sales order data on their devices.
Background
Due customer requirements, we need to make small changes to customer master data attributes and reload all customers from ERP to CRM. Then we ran delta loads (MAS_PARTNER followed by all other objects) to DOE, in which virtually all 5000+ customer accounts were compared. The delta load ran for about 3 days (some performance bottleneck we haven't located yet).
During the delta load, data on devices was inconsistent. Accounts were missing and all transaction data disappeared. After the delta loads, all accounts and contacts are OK, save for a few. Data from activities (appointments, tasks) have reappeared, as they should. Only sales orders won't reappear. The sales orders exist in the backend and belong to active accounts and sales reps.
Settings and troubleshooting so far
We don't have any limitations for sales orders in CRM Sales Mobile configuration.
We've run delta loads for all objects in transaction SDOE_LOAD.
MAS_CUSTOMIZATION etc seem fine.
We've re-run initial load for sales orders from CRM.
In the test system, we've even reinitialized the whole CDS database on DOE and on the devices, then re-ran the loads.
Checked steps suggested in discussion
SAP CRM 2.0 initial load issue
Historical sales orders (those created before the master data reload) exist in the backend, but don't show up on the device.
If I change one of those historical sales orders in the backend, it gets sent to the device.
If I create a new sales order in the backend or on the device, it is saved and replicated just fine.
To sum it up, it seems DOE is unable to identify the sales orders relevant for replication.

First Doubt i got clarify by my self as we can go with Unwired Runtime option .
But i still have doubt in :

i am able to customize the same for windows using files SybaseCRM.Configuration.xml file.

Column consists of numbers in a ordered manner but the some numbers are deleted from the table in random manner and need to identify those rows.

How to find out the missing records

Dear all,
I feel that there is some Inconsistent records between R/3 and the extracted records BI for the data source 2LIS_03_BF. some of the records may not be updated through delta.. Is this possible? as we have created Zkey figures to capture the diffrent unit of measure's quantity from the table MSEGO2 and updated to IC_c03 cube.
Can any one tell me how to go about the missed records..where to find them.. and how to extract them.

hi,
inventory scenario is difficult to handle as this have non cumulative key figures which can be viewed at the repors.
extreme care is required while compression and intila loads and their compression.
run the report or ask the user to run the report and sort out the missing records.
chk out the document and chk if the procedure done by you is correct.

Missing records while fetching data from Data mart

Hi,
I have some missing records in the ODS.The data is fetched from the other BW system.
It is a delta load & all the loads are succesfull as of now.But still some records are missing.
If i see in reconstruction tab, some requests are showing the Transfer structure status as clock(transfer stucture has changed sine the last request). Is it because of this time stamp status got changed ?
I have done reinitialization & the missing Datas are fetched .But i would like to know the cause of missing records.

If there was a time stamp difference ,the data load should have got failed.All the delta loads were succesfull.
But now they realised there are some missing records.Just for analysis purpose , i was looking into reconstruction tab & the transfer structure status was displayed as clock.
But actually there was no change in the transfer stucture.
Sometimes we used to get timestamp error &
we used to replicate the data source & activate the transfer structure.
To avoid these things in future what needs to be done.As this load gets triggered through process chain & each time the data load status was succesful.
Every time we cant do replication of datasource while loading through Process chain unless the transfer structure gets changed.
But my concern was is this the cause for missing records or something else.

BI Load issue in the transformation/DTP after SP 17

Hello,
After SP 17 applied in our BI system, we are having load issue in one particular transformation/DTP.
See below the errors:
u2022 Messages for 101 data records saved; request is red acc. to
configuration
u2022 Thee is no active nametab in the system, although an active ABAP/4
Dictionary object was expected. Reactivate the ABAP/4 Dictionary object.
Also I have activated the DSO, transformation and DTP. Also I went to SE14 and try to adjust my DSO, SE11 and activate the table but still having the issue.
Can someone advise me on how to resolve this issue?

for the Info-provider.
Then execute another program via SE38: RSDD_RSTMPLWIDTP_GEN_ALL

Exel to SQL DFTask loads some Null records

I have an SSIS package to import Excel data into SQL. When I look at Excel I dont see ANY Null rows. However when I run the SSIS package and check SQL, It loads some NULL RECORDS IN SQL. WHy is that It loads Null records in SQL, When i cannot see the Null
recs In Excel?

That's because the person who created the Excel file and added the data to it pressed the "Enter" key on some of the empty cells under that specific column. In excel, such a row might look like any other empty, non-data row but for SSIS, its an
actual data row except that it doesn't have any value. SSIS treats a missing data value as a DBNULL and that's what you saw.
There are multiple ways of fixing this.
1. Educate the creator of the excel to be more careful at the time of data entry.
2. Make that target column in the DB table as NOT NULL.
3. Handle such "empty" data values as exception inside your SSIS (using a data flow task and ignoring such rows).
4. Switch to using CSV file format instead of excel format.
5. All of the above :)

Hi Sanju,
You can load those records by doing a repair full update or full update and by giving the unique selections for those 10 records in your Infopackage in BW>
In details go to your infopackage, put Full update (Tick the Repair full indicator) and go to selection tab and give Doc Number or some selection criteria by which you can only extract those 10 records.

Strange sqlloader loader issue with carriage return in Unix

Hi All, I'm having issues in running some data into a table via sqlloader. The data was extracted using concatanated SQL with a | delimiter. sql script was executed in the shell to produce the data file.
eg
a,b,c|
d,e,f|
The control file specifies a string terminator as "str '|\n'" but when i run the sqlloadr command on the unix box I states that
no terminator found after TERMINATED and ENCLOSED field.
Ive tried it with \n\r same sort of issue.
The strange scneario i encountered was when I just specified "str '|'" as I read unix would default to \n, the weird thig was that my 6 records DID load into the table succesfully but a bad file was produced with a | character in it and the log file specfied that it tried to load 7 records where 6 were succesfull and 1 failed even though I only had 6 record to play with in the 1dst place.
Any ideas / thoughts greatly appreciated?!

Master Data Load Issue

Hi Experts,
This is regarding an issue with Master Data "DELTA" load.
WBSe master data has below fields
WBSe
Approval Year
Program definition
Program position
Funding Type
ABCD
2014
ZZPA
Z_ABCD
CB
Program Position master data has below fields
Approval Year
Program definition
Program position
Funding Type
2014
ZZPA
Z_ABCD
DC
WBSe master data table has "look up" for program position to populate "funding type" based on Approval Year,Program Definition and Program Position.
The issue is, daily delta load is not getting "recent/new funding type values".
But, If load the same record with program position selection in FULL Load, the new funding type is getting updated.
Please tell me why "funding Type" is not getting updated with new value in DELTA load.

Hi Asha,
In delta mode only new or changed records are loaded to WBSe MD,
and look up will only pick up data if data is loaded from Data Source to WBSe MD.
There are 2 solutions to this :-
1) change WBSe MD to full load, it will take care, as MD is always over written.
2) Enhance this field in Source system, i.e. Data Source enhacement, if you know the Table for look up in source system.

Report loading Issue

Hello all,
I am using Oracle 6i for report and oracle10g for the database.I have created a matrix report in oracle Report but which report taking so much time to show the output it almost taking more than 10 minutes,at the same time that query executed within 1 minute in toad which used in matrix report.
kindly guide me how to solve the loading issue.

I did not used any formula column in my report,all the values are taking from query.
But I used different types of format trigger in my report for the coloring purpose.Does it make any problem?

How to get missing records from one table

I have one table with many records in the table. Each time a record is entered the date the record was entered is also saved in the table.
I need a query that will find all the missing records in the table.
so if I have in my table:
ID          Date          Location
1           4/1/2015        bld1
2           4/2/2015        bld1
3           4/4/2015        bld1
I want to run a query like
Select Date, Location FROM [table] WHERE (Date Between '4/1/2015' and '4/4/2015') and (Location = bld1)
WHERE Date not in
(Select Date, Location FROM [table])
and the results would be:
4/3/2015   bld1

Do you have a table with all possible dates in it? You can do a left join from that to your above mentioned table where the right side of the join is null. If you don't have a table with all possible dates you could user a numbers table.
Below is one way to achieve what you want with a numbers table...
