Loading New App on 8700c
Hey Crackberry Citizens, I'm new to this and trying out a couple of new applications: Handbase v 4.2 and Database Viewer Plus v. 3.1 and cannot get either to work. I have searched and tried to reinstall a few times but nothing! Here's what I got: Desktop Manager Blackberry v. 4.3 BB 8700C v. 4.2 Both program installed OK but when I tried to run them, I got the following; Handbase v 4.0 uncaught exception: java.lang.Error Database Viewer Plus v. 3.1 uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.controlledAccessException Any ideas? Any suggestion for a database app that works well on Blackberry? Cheers

I submitted my question but ran out of room in the box. I can still down load new Apps to my iPod touch AND update them but CAN NOT update the older Apps. that was on the iPod before the problem.
I have been to Three Apple Service Center stores - In Tulsa OK, Oklahoma City OK, Tacoma WA and NO ONE could tell me what is the problem OR what to do to correct it. The Tech then tells me to get hold of the main Apple Service Center number. I tell them I already have and they still recommend going to them.
I have erased all information and started over as a new iPod Touch but the problem persists.
I have called the Apple Service number and they tell me to do everything that the the Tech's at the Apple Service center stores tried to do but DID NOT work.
After I spend a lot of time on the phone, I get told to make an appointment at a Apple Service center store so they can physically have hands on assistance. Come on folks I have already done that and they were of no help. When I say that, I get told that may be the only way I can get the problem resolved.
Surely there is someone out there that knows something about what is happening OR not happening with my iPod and provide a solution.

I am a Revel member and have all my pictures and club logo, colors and so on, tomorrow we today NOW 1 hour ago I was supposed to send those logo and rest of club colors to people on the advertising to work and be finished so we have the posters ready tomorrow but not?? What is happening. Why can't I get into my app so I can send it?? It won't load new adobe revel app. Is this a joke or something that is for children den please inform us.

There is an issue with upgrading to Revel 2.3.2 on iOS. We are aware of this issue and are working with Apple to resolve it as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you. In the mean time, you can still access your photos on adoberevel.com from a browser and from our mac, win8, and android apps.

For some unknown reason, my Apple ID Password does not work when trying to down load IBooks, Nook books, or new Apps. Everything else seems to work. Any suggestions out their???
I appreciate the info and realize that the Nook App is not related to my Apple account but this too has stopped working. My situation first started with the Nook App not down loading and then has now spread to my IBook and new app downloads. I have checked into my ITunes account and the ID and password are correct and at times when I am asked to submit my Apple password such as setting up this Apple Support Community the ID and password work. My problem seems to be just with trying to use my ID and password when wanting to download new books or apps. I can go into the IBook, Nook, and App stores and seemingly download an item but when clicking on the new book or app nothing happens and I get a message that states it can not get into the ITunes store and it wants me to either try again or cancel. This message appears usually ten minutes after I have tried to make a purchase. At other times when I attempt to download a book or app I lose the screen and the IPad goes into the opening screen. Short of redoing my Apple account or deleting an app and attempting to reload the app (but this won't work because the App store won't load new apps) I don't have a clue what to do.

Any restrictions set up in Settings/General/Restrictions? If yes, disable them and try again.
Are you logged into the AppStore with the correct and same Apple ID that has been used to set up the phone? If yes, log out of the AppStore in Settings/iTunes & AppStore, reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Appel logo comes back again, then log into the AppStore.
You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches as well. -

Cannot upgrade apps or load new apps on my ipad2
This is an recent problem, never had it before. My ipod doesn't have this problem so there's no problem with my connecting. When i connect my ipad to my pc and itunes then there is no problem either. But i find it annoying to have to use my pc every time that there is an update or if i want to buy a new app. Who can help me? I use ios 5.1
I thought that might be the issue but I wasn't certain. For whatever reason, this seems to be occurring more frequently that it used to.
Two thoughts ... if you have a stalled download in iTunes - maybe a song or a podcast that did not finish downloading, complete that download or delete the download - and then try the apps again. Only one thing can download at a time and anything that might have stuck in iTunes could be causing the problem.
the other thing that I will suggest is sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again. Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap your ID and sign out.
Restsrt the iPad ..... Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in - sign in and try again. -

I accidentally made a purchase on 2 Apps with a total cost fo $10.98 & I stopped the payment from going off on my account, but now I can't update or download new Apps & every time I try to do this I am getting the following error message (There is a problem with a previous purchase).

Lorato12Your apple account is showing you still owe for this download. You wont be able to download anything to you pay your balance. Since it was a "mixup", you should call apple support. Tell them your issue and get your account resolved.

Hi I have an iPad 2 and I loaded iOS 6 onto it. This morning I got the message to load some of the standard free appl apps but when I went to type in my password it had another default as my user name instead of my email address? How do I change the default for my apple I'd on the iPad?
You May Need to delete your apple ID of your ipad , and put it on again. Or otherwhise your entering your ID in wrong ! ( If you know your secuirty questions You can Reset your Password).

My iPad 3 is connected to Internet but I can not load new apps or tunes
I have checked my apple I'd, verification etc but every time tI try to download anything from iTunes or app store it will not work it just says loading! But does nothing updates are the same. My iPhone 4s works perfectly on the same wifi network. Please help.
Try this. Sign out, restart and sign in again.
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID - tap your ID and sign out, restart your iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again. See if that helps.
You can also try rebooting your router - unplug it for about 39 seconds and then plug it in again. -
Why does new Apps do not load in
When I try to load new Apps into my Ipad they keep saying that they cannot be loaded and to try later. Well I've tryed later, and later, and later. With no luck. Is there a time limit with these. We have had it for going on 3 years. What do we have to do buy a new one?? Also the updates for Apps will not install.
