Loading new MIBs on a 1310 AP
Hey everyone. I'm trying to diagnose a remote AP installation using SNMP. The default SNMP traps aren't adequate for what I need to monitor. For instance, with the built-in MIBs I can information like input/output errors, link status, etc.
But, what I really want is to monitor radio associations, RSSI values, interference values, and negotiated link speeds.
I went to Cisco's MIB locator and downloaded a few .my files (such as CISCO-DOT11-RADIO-DIAGNOSTIC-MIB.my) which seemed like they might help.
However, I am now completely stuck as to how to use these files. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

For the SNMP to enable traps and poll the AP, make sure that the AP have the iso
view configured. Example:
snmp-server view iso iso included
snmp-server community view iso RO
snmp-server community view iso RW
To enable traps:
AP(config)#snmp-server enable traps ?

I submitted my question but ran out of room in the box. I can still down load new Apps to my iPod touch AND update them but CAN NOT update the older Apps. that was on the iPod before the problem.
I have been to Three Apple Service Center stores - In Tulsa OK, Oklahoma City OK, Tacoma WA and NO ONE could tell me what is the problem OR what to do to correct it. The Tech then tells me to get hold of the main Apple Service Center number. I tell them I already have and they still recommend going to them.
I have erased all information and started over as a new iPod Touch but the problem persists.
I have called the Apple Service number and they tell me to do everything that the the Tech's at the Apple Service center stores tried to do but DID NOT work.
After I spend a lot of time on the phone, I get told to make an appointment at a Apple Service center store so they can physically have hands on assistance. Come on folks I have already done that and they were of no help. When I say that, I get told that may be the only way I can get the problem resolved.
Surely there is someone out there that knows something about what is happening OR not happening with my iPod and provide a solution.

When I run the command "ldapclient init", I got the error message:

Do the logs on your LDAP server show access problems?

My iPad 2 had no problems loading e-mails until about a month ago. Then it started periodically being unable to load new e-mails from one of my two Yahoo accounts (the primary one), but the secondary Yahoo account worked fine. (It says "Checking for mail..." and never stops checking). This only happens when I'm at home, using my home WiFi (a slow connection.) Now, for the past two weeks, about 95% of the time, neither of my Yahoo accounts works on the iPad, although I have no problem accessing these accounts on my iPod Touches or on my desktop Mac mini. If I take the iPad to my neighbor's house and use her WiFi, I can get the Yahoo mail. (She has cable/internet through Comcast; I have DSL.) I can access the Yahoo mail in public WiFi environments like Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, and the Apple store. I upgraded the operating system to ios 6.0.1, and the problem didn't go away. I've been to two Apple stores and seen two different "Geniuses" about this. The first one observed that although the iPad could load mail while in the store, it was doing so very, very slowly. She did a complete restore (erasing all of my apps, photos, etc.) but when I got back home, the problem resumed. The second Genius couldn't figure the problem out, either. He suggested I contact Yahoo, which I highly doubt will get me anywhere. I eventually added back all of my old apps, but then deleted them again in the past few days thinking that perhaps a persnickety app was causing a problem. No luck.
Answering my own question here. It's fixed! Another user recommended I switch to another wireless network then back to mine. And it worked! Mail is sending again with no problem.

My iPhone is locked due to setting up a passcode after loading new version 7. I have tried to reset but keep getting turn of "find my iphone". I can't get into the phone to turn this off. What do I do now?

I have an ipod, 4 g, my girlfriend loaded it with 700 songs but she is no longer a girlfriend and I signed up to my own itune account and want to load new songs, how can i save whats on there and also create my own data base of songs, i dont want to lose anything on the ipod
It sounds like you definitely want to turn off the auto-sync before you hook your iPod up to the computer
To turn off Auto-sync:
1) open iTunes
2) Preferences -> Devices -> check the box that says "Prevent iPods from syncing automatically
That way you can manually add songs to your iPod (using iTunes) without your iPod removing the songs on it -
I down loaded new OS X (Lion)operating system and discovered my CAD programs no longer run. Is it possible to reload the original OS X and remove Lion?
If you backed up before the upgrade, restore the backup.
If not you are going to have to erease the disk and install the older OS.
You should back up any data you want before so that it can be restored afterwards.
Is there a version of you CAD program that is Lion compatable? That would be an easier solution.

When I try to launch the software immediataely crashes. I plug in the phone, select Synch media it crashes. I uninstalled the software and re-downloaded it, at the end hit Launch SW, and it crashes!

Too much delay to load new SWF after unloaded the current SWF
Hi,
In our application we are using more than 10 SWFs. While traversing one SWF to other trying to unload currently loaded SWF and loading the new one. We were success to unload the existing SWF but the problem is, taking too much time to load new SWF (more than 5 seconds). Please suggest a useful method to avoid this delay to get better performance.

SwitchSWFs();Is the delay happening when you test locally?
One thing you might try is to load any Loaders you have up front before they are needed so that there is a better chance they are ready to be added to the display list when called for. So instead of having the button trigger loading the swf, you just have it call the switchSWFs function.
Another thing you might try if you keep it where the button triggers loading the file is to assign an event listener for the Loader to detect when it has finished loading and then have that listener's event handler function call the switchSWFs function. At least that way, the current swf is not unloaded until a replacement is ready and waiting. -

Right click a video and go to convert selection for iPod. Does it convert?
Or, are the videos not going into iTunes? For videos to be imported, they have to be in a quicktime-compatible format. Right click a video and go to properties. What is the file type?

Loading new xml data into a already xml populated image display
Hi everybody,
I have a question about loading new xml data into a already xml populated image gallery.
So I have my gallery set up so it calls some xml when it first loads. What I would now like to do is load different sets of images via a different xml sheet via the click of a button.
So for example the loaded gallery already has all thumbs loaded and user can click on them to view the full size image. So next instead of the user having to close this gallery to allow a new gallery to open with a different set of pictures I would just like to have a button. This button will unload the existing thumbs from the gallery and load in new ones from a different xml file.
If anybody can help me with this it would be great as I am still on a steep learning curve with AS3.

Deleted mail shows up again, need to force quit, won't load new messages.
I've been having email issues after upgrading to OSX 10.8.2 Everything is fine with first opened and then after a bit starts to act funky. I will delete messages and they will pop back up, it won't load new emails unless I shut it down and restart. It also won't close unless I force quit. This has been happening for a while. I am using GoDaddy for my email server and the Mac Mail App. I mainly use one email (the godaddy email) and have many, many "mailboxes/folders" in that account. I wasn't sure if the amount of "mailboxes/folders" was why I am having the issues, or the best way to go about saving them was. I'd like to be able to save the actual "mailbox/folders" as they are organized by project, but noticed the archive function doesn't let you put in folders. I included a screen shot of how my innox is set up in case that helps. Thank you for help, let me know if there's anything else I should include.

Try to load new iPad Mini with reserve copy from my iMac coming from my iPhone 4S.
When selecting the copy I can not find the just made copy from my iPhone 4S.
I see tree others, but not the latest from iPhone 4S.
Is there a max on copies showed ??
Please advise,As far as I know there is no limit to the number of backups that you can store in iTunes as long as you have the available storage capacity on the Mac. I have at least 10 or 12 backups in iTunes for my iPad and iPod Touch. Every time that you restore from a backup - a time and date stamped backup is created that cannot be overwritten. I must have 8 of those backups on my Mac.
Did you look in iTunes>Preference>Devices to see if the backup is really in there?
