Loading photos from Ipad to comp

can't figure out how to tranfer photos from my ipad to my Imac ?

How did the photos get on the iPad e.g. taken with the iPad or synced from a computer ? For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page e.g. on a Mac you can use iPhoto, Aperture or Image Capture
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

  • How do i load photos from ipad to mac

i am having trouble uploading photos from my ipad onto my macbook version 10.6.6.
    any suggestions?

There are third party apps that will enable you to transfer the photos wirelessly via WiFi  - apps like Photo Transfer for example.
You can also connect your iPad to the Mac and open iPhoto. Select the iPad name on the left side just like you do in iTunes when you sync and you can import Photos from your Saved Album on the original iPad or from the Camera Roll Album on iPad 2.
Another easy but more tedious method - depending on how many photos you want to move - is to open the Photos app and email the photos to yourself to get them on your Mac. Tap on the photo and tap the curved arrow icon and choose the email option. This is a one at a time way to do it so it does take time.

  • Downloading photos from fast UDMA Comp.flash to macbook/ipad

How can I Download photos from fast UDMA Comp.flash to mu macbook pro/ipad. The ipda comes with aSD reader accessory but not CF especially UDMA fast Cflash. Some UMA readers have firewire but my macbook does not have firewire and the IPAD does not even have usb 2.0. Help??

Photos copied to the iPad via the camera connection kit (either via the SD reader or the direct connection to the camera) are not amended in anyway - the photos are copied exactly to the iPad and can then be copied to your computer without any alterations i.e. they will be exactly the same as if you'd copied them from the camera/card direct to the computer (help on copying from the iPad to computer is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). Photos synced to the iPad from your computer via iTunes are 'optimised' as part of the transfer, but photos copied via the camera connection kit are not.
When/if you then copy the photos to your computer you have the choice whether to leave them on the iPad or whether to delete them, or you can delete them directly on the iPad.
You cannot connect an external drive to the iPad for copying photos to - there are some wifi enabled drives starting to come on to the market, but they are quite expensive, and I think (though I'm not entirely sure) that they only allow copying to the iPad.

  • Hi Im using OS Windows 7 Professional 32bit driver for apple ipad air in order to transfer photoes from ipad to hp laptop

Unable to transfer photoes from ipad to windows 7 laptop.
    Error message
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

That is one heck of a post for a newcomer here. Your instructions worked like a charm, with one exception:
When uninstalling the Broadcom Device, I had to check the box to delete the driver, and then had to scan for new hardware to get the device to show back up. Then I was able to load the edited driver software.
I am not complaining, but very grateful, as I was pulling my hair out on this one.

  • Loading photos on iPad air2

A Couple of weeks ago I asked why I could  not load photos from a 'camera connection kit'. I got answers from some of you with suggestions That did not solve the problem. I even returned the device, and purchased another from a different supplier.
This one worked. Why? Because it came with the instruction that was so simple.
" Make sure that the photo app is open, then plug the device with a card in to your iPad".
    Simple when you know how.

i have imported everything... photos have been deleted on iphoto but still show up on ipad and iphone... even after being synchronised.

  • Anyway to upload photos from ipad to craigslist ad

How do you upload photos from ipad or iphone to craigslist without loading them onto PC and doing it from there?

Not from Safari, but you can with the Craigslist app.

  • HT1665 How to save photo from iPad to external memory card?

How to save photo from iPad to external memory card?

It's very difficult.  I have read where some people have done this with much angst.  You can use the camera connection kit to load pictures to your iPad.  The reverse is not really supported.  A much simpler solution would be to email the photo to your home email account and then copy it to external memory.

  • Can I load photos from iMac onto iPad2 model A1395?

Can I load photos from iMac onto iPad2 model A1395?  The model A1395 is described as "wi-fi only" and has a 30 pin connector for charging.
[By contrast, this is NOT the iPad2 model A1396, which is described as "Wi-Fi/GMS/GPS AT&T" or the Model A1397, which is described as "Wi-Fi/CDMA/GPS Verizon". Nor is it the model A1337, described as "Wi-Fi/3G/GPS (Original)".]
Wi-Fi only seems to me to have an ominous ring to it.  I am synching with my iPhone through the iCloud, if that is of any use.
In addition, I should note that the photo files I want to look at in the iPad are large files, a little over 100 MB in JPEG format.  The desire is to display the whole image (these are archival photos of heirloom quilts) and then be able to focus in on specific details (by enlrging them so that the stitching and other details can be seen).  I mention this because I tthink there may be some 30 MB limit on the size of a file that the iPAD can handle.  Would I be able to examine a larger file (but perhaps npot as large as 100 MB) if I had 64 MB memory in the iPad?
    Winston

WiFi only refers to the fact that the iPad connects to the Internet via WiFi because it does not have cellular capability. That has nothing to do with the ability to put photos on the device.
Sync the photos from the Mac via iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Select the folder from which your photos are located in the Sync Photos From Heading. If you use iPhoto - select that or navigate to the specific photos folder on the Mac.
If you use iPhoto, select all of the albums, or events that you want to sync. If you use another photos folder, you can select one level of sub folders within that main folder.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Having 64GB of storage also has nothing to do with the ability to view the photos on the iPad since that refers to storage capacity. However, the larger the storage capacity, the more photos the iPad will be able to hold.
I know of no limit on the size that a photo needs to be in order to be viewable on the iPad.
If you use iCloud, you can sync photos that you shoot on the iPd and iPhone across devices via Photo Stream, but it just be turned on for this to work. Settings>iCloud>Photo Stream on. Any photos that you take on one device after photo stream is turned on, will sync to the other device.

  • TS3274 can't email photos from iPad 4

I cannot email photos from iPad 4. My email works for sending and receiving. iPhoto indicates that I am sharing and email window pops up. But after I load photos and email address, it does not send to anywhere.

Check Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Default Account (under mail) -- make sure that's set correcty.

  • Remove photos from Ipad

I have thousands of photos on my ipad (most not even taken with the ipad) and I cannot remove them. I am not sure how they got there. I think most of them are on my desktop and icloud. But not sure how to verify because I do not want to lose any. Photos are taking up too much space on the ipad and preventing me from loading music and movies.

  • How to download photos from ipad?

How do I down load photos from ipad2 to my pc?

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites there are instructions here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 .
For photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network - but as they would have been 'optimised' when they were synced to the iPad, any that are copied back may not be exactly the same as they originally were on the computer.

  • How can I transfer photos from ipad 1 to pc

    I have an ipad 1 - ios 5.1.1
I want to transfer the photos on the ipad to a windows 8 pc.
Should be a really simple operation - yes? wrong.
After visiting 30+ webpages, downloading various 3rd party software (and deleting them again) - I am still unable to transfer photos from my ipad to a windows pc.
I connect the ipad 1 to a pc using cable.
    PC shows ipad.
Then you get the option to import photos (Which 20+ websites just repeat).
Contained in the DCIM Folder is 2 thumbnail photos. Yes - just 2. Two.
Stored on the ipad is nearly 3,000 photo's. NOT 2!
So how do you move photos from an ipad to PC?
    Next problem.
Someone recommended using Syncios - wonderful.
    All photos found.
All photos copied - except they are copied as thumbnails.
It would seem that ipad stores your photos as a thumbnail - but when you email the photo the true size is sent. (Thumbnail is 11kb - when I attach the same photo to an email it shows it as 1.1mb)
So - apart from creating and sending 3000 emails - so that I can transfer photos at their original resolution - HOW DO YOU TRANSFER PHOTOS FROM IPAD 1 TO A PC.
Apple really couldn't have made a 30second operation more difficult - or deliberately impossible.
There is NO option to do this via iTunes.
I can transfer photos from a PC to iPad using iTunes - but not the other way around.
So - please - does anyone have a degree in astro-physics that can explain how a person is supposed to transfer full sized photos, that are stored as thumbnails - from an iPAD 1 to a Win 8 pc?
ps... and yes I am irritated. This has taken me 2 days so far, and still unable.
pps... and no, I really don't need people posting - oh yes I have the same problem... I need answers.

HHow did the photos get on your iPad? since the original iPad does not have a camera, the photos were either received in emails, copied from the web or synced from your computer. If they were copied from emails or the web they should be available to copy off the iPad using whatever Camera or image capture application you have on your computer. Connect your iPad, start the application and transfer the photos.
if the photos were synced from your computer, they should still be on the computer used to sync from.

  • How do i transfer photos from ipad to MacBook Pro about 100

After update to yosemite i have about 150 photos that are on my ipad and not on MacBook Pro.  Is there a way to sync the photos from ipad to computer

I did sync thro iTunes so will have to import them where i can find them...yuck
The synced photos should be in an album in the "Albums" tab of your iPod.
As long as you did not transfer  the synced photos to your computer do on no account activate "iCloud Photo Library Beta" on your iPad. That will wipe all synced photos from the iPad.
You can't reimport pictures synced from your computer to your device back to your computer. You can only import pictures in the Camera Roll or Saved Photos from your device to your computer. If you need to retrieve synced photos from your device:
Email them from the device to yourself.
Copy them from the emails to your computer.
