Loading pictures from Itunes to my Ipad 2

Hello there,
I have been encountering a small issue recently. I have a lot of events in my iPhoto software that I want to load on my ipad 2.
When I am going through iTunes in order to load them all, all the events appear. So I am selecting them and asking to synchronize on my iPad 2 but the matter is that actually iTunes is like copying 20 to 30 of the events and nothing more. I have an error messages telling me that iTunes can't copy some of the files to the iPad. So first I thought it was because the files in the events were wrong. Then I tried differently, instead of asking iTunes to get the events from iPhoto, I asked it to get the files fromt the folder itself then it's copying all the files in folders like the events ... great ! BUT the files inside the folder are not classified by name so the pictures are not in order ...
I tried to delete that "Cache iPhoto" in case it could come from that but that doesn't make any change.
If anyone went through that frustrating experience and found a solution, any help would be really welcome !

i'm having the same exact problem... not all the events in iPhoto are transfered to the iPad!
i'm not sure what to do, also same like you, all the events are properly organized in iPhoto, the originals don't always make sense, as they are just the camera dumps!!
I'm navigating iTunes at the moment to the originals to see how it will work. but someone from apple itself should give us an ansewr to that

If your camera pictures are stored on an SD Card you could purchase a lightning to SD Card adapter..

You could also get the pix to your computer then copy them to an SD Card, if your computer sports an SD Card reader.
Then use the lightning to SD Card reader..
Lots of cameras use SD Card for storage, mine does..

HT4101 I have used my SD card reader with the lightning connector just fine until this awful OS 7 update! Now nothing works and all I get while trying to load pictures from my SD card to my iPad is that my device is not supported!

Anyone having the same problem with the new OS7? I can no longer load pictures from my SD card to my iPad using my adapter.

Are the card readers apple ones or knockoffs? Unfortunately iOS7 brought with it software that looks for the authentication chip in the cables and docks. If the manufacturer got permission from Apple to make devices then it should be fine, but if the manufacturer didn't get apple's permission then their chip isn't recognized, generating that error.
If your connectors are Apple ones have you tried to reset your device? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds or so until your iPad reboots. Then try again.

Do you have a smaller capacity micro SD card to try? I seem to remember from past posts that users were having problems with cards larger than 32GB, however, Apple's page doesn't mention this.

I would recommend deleting the affected movie from your iPad, and redownloading the movie.

Why would only a one picture from a folder be syncing from iTunes to my iPad?

When I sync photos from iTunes to my iPad only the first picture in each folder is transferred. This used to work fine, but I've started using the camera connection kit and I've upgraded the iOS version to the 4.3.2. Don't know for sure when it stopped working.

Found another discussion that referenced this problem. Solution was to unclick the read-only attribute for each of the photos. For Windows 7, this can be done by right-clicking on the folder to be synced with your iPad and selecting Properties. Unfortunately, it does not change the read-only attribute for the subfolders, and so I was only able to sync one large folder versus a folder of folders. I don't know why iTunes cannot sync read-only files since it should not be modifying them. Hopefully, this will be fixed on the next iTunes release.

The Camera Roll on the phone identifies itself as a Digital Camera to your computer. You don't sync them as you do everything else with iTunes.
You get them off as you would any digital camera.
You don't say what type of computer you have so instructions are different depending on that.

Any way to side load podcasts from iTunes to Podcast App?

I have not been able to figure out how to side-load podcasts from iTunes to the podcast app iPhone or iPad. On my iPad, I watch HD podcasts. They take FOREVER to download over wi-fi (and I have 6Mbs down, which isn't all that bad). The podcasts are in my Videos app. I am not sure why the podcast app doesn't pull from the ones already under the Videos app. Anyone figure this out?

Not quite the same in 10.6, but close enough to find it:
It's iTunes>apps, not iTunes>iPhone>apps. I didn't realize there were different windows.
Not double-click, but control-click. Close enough.

If you are now in the US then you can only use the US store, so you should update the address on your account
Changing country : Change the country of your iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account.
Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option

Tap the Videos app and tap the movies button at the top of the page.
The iTunes app on your iPad is just a conduit to the iTunes Store. To play your purchases, use the iPod app or the Videos app.

You did try tapping on one of them in that list in the iPod app! This has happened to me and I was able to start the movie from there. You could try restarting the iPad, go into the iPod app and try again.
Now I'm stumped unless it is a corrupt download. You did download right onto the iPad - correct? If you downloaded in iTunes, there is a Move tab or function that you have to select to transfer the movies to the iPad when you sync. They just don't sync over without selecting move.
