Loading screen after splash screen

Hello,
Since the Beta 3 i have a loading screen ( screenshot joined ) after the splash screen, can i delete it? (By the way is there any possibility to use full screen splash screen and not only 6XX x 4XX image )
Thank you !

Hi Meyer,
I'm not sure I  understand what you mean by "having a loading screen... after the splash screen."  But if it's an image that you added via a visual you should be able to delete the image visual. The image visual can be as large as the
limit of the Screen.

  • Computer goes to black screen after splash screen (installed new graphics card)

I installed an EVGA Geforce GTX 750ti on my computer today, but when I boot it up, it goes and stays on the splash screen for about 45 seconds, then goes to a black screen, and stays there for an indefinite amount of time.  Any ideas on how to make this work?
    Computer model - Pavilion p7-1298cb
    BIOS - AMI 7.07 4/20/2012

    Hi
Have you installed the drivers for your card that would have come with the card ??  Secondly have you changed the BIOS to work from the new card as default  ?????

  • Blank Screen after splash screen on brand new HP Z420 workstation

Tried to install Windows 10 on brand new HP Z420 and it all l seemed to go well and ran for few days.
Now when I restart it the Windows splash screen shows briefly and then goes blank and black, no green light on monitor.
Cant get into safe mode by pressing F4.
About all I can do is try disabling BIOS setting like power management etc and maybe swap out the Nvidia K2000 Graphics card.
This is a very common hardware package that ships from HP with Windows 8.1 so it should just all work. Any one else had this or have any ideas??

OK, I have no explanation, but wiping the drive, reformatting and reinstalling XP from scratch fixed the problem for me.
I understand if you don't wanna take that route. It was my last, last last resort. But among the things that didn't work:
    Upgrading to XP from 2K
    Adding a beefier PSU
    Upgrading motherboard drivers to latest
Removing motherboard drivers totally and reinstalling
    Ditto video drivers
    Using different vid card
    Using onboard video
Removing one, then the other bank of RAM
    Reducing CPU frequency
    Increasing CPU frequency
Sacrificing a goat or a chicken
I have no idea what happened in the 1st place, and I hate unsolved/unexplained  glitches, but I'm glad my system's working again.
That's all I got to say about that.

  • Some games to not continue after splash screen.

I've already asked it on answers.microsoft.com but didn't get any reply. So, thought I would ask here.
    What I've tried:

also, I've tried some technet links but in vain.
I've installed two games - Sonic Dash and Despicable Me 2:Minion Rush. Both of these games to not work after splash screen and they get minimized.
I've checked the event log and found this

Apparently it has something to do with remote procedure call. When I open the other game, I get same errors as the above, the only thing which has changed being name of the app.
Graphics shouldn't be a problem since these games have ALREADY run once, but not now, and I have other heavy-graphic games like Asphalt 8 Airborne which still WORKS.
I've also tried re-installing but in vain, duh. Looking for help badly. I'd appreciate any help.

Sorry. Those two links too didn't work. I did all that was instructed in them. However I really appreciate your effort in solving my problem.

After an uninstall, you also need to run the clean script 2-3 times, rebooting between runs, to be sure all remnants are removed from the Registry

  • Win XP Hangs after Splash Screen (PointSec Loaded)

I have a lenovo t400 laptop, that has Pointsec encryption (6.1.3) ,and WinXP loaded on it.
I ran the Think Vantage Lenovo update tool which downloaded and installed a number of updates - as I hadn't run it for ages.
Now when I try to start the computer it hangs after the XP splash screen is displayed. The screen simply goes black.
I have tried the various Safe Mode options (include VGA Mode, and start with last successful configuration) without luck. They also fail to boot.
    The flow is:
Power On, PointSec Authentication Screen, Win XP Splash screen, then a black screen
I have successfully got into the system using UBCD4Win with the pointsec plugin loaded, this loads a WinPE type environment via a USB stick and allows me to access the C: drive unencrypted (as I have authenticated with Pointsec).
I'm really stuck for ideas as to which of the update is causing the problem, and would love to hear some suggestions on how to fix this situation.
    Additional Info:
The last few lines in ntbtlog.txt is:
Did not load driver Direct Parallel
Did not load driver SM bios service
Did not load driver SM bus service
    Loaded driver \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\Cdfs.SYS
    Looking in:
    c:\Windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$
it looks like Service Pack 3 has been installed:
    The file: spuninst\spuninst,inf shows:
    NtServicePackVersionText = "Service Pack 3"
    NtServicePackPreviousVersionText = "Service Pack 2"
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Fixed!!!
The problem was the lenovo updates (most likely culprit being the video driver I presume).
Using UBCD4Win with the pointsec plugin I was able to
    * get  access to the decrypted c: drive
    * Manually rolled back the updates to c:\windows\system32 and c:\windows\system32\drivers
Original files were found in places like: c:\windows\system32\reinstallbackups\008\DriverFiles
    * Finally I had to roll back the registry updates that the updates did. UBCD4Win provides a tool to do this:  Registry Restore Wizard. It basically just looks in the System Restore Directory c:\System Volume Information and lists all the available Restore Points (thankfully the Lenovo updates mark a restore point before they run). You can also do this manually using the following instructions:
    http://hypography.com/forums/tutorials-and-how-tos/17193-xp-recovery-instructions-for-ubcd4win.html
This done the system booted successfully.
I most definitely will be staying clear of pressing the big blue button from now on. That was a real nightmare to fix.

  • Crackle after splash screen

After uh the windows vista logo with the green loading bar is about to go away it makes a tiny crackle noise noise then starts up vista is that bad?, do you get that too? should I reinstall?

Updated to 310.7 from 306.97, but still no luck. When after effect stops responding there is sometimes a dialog box asking me if I want to send my information. This dialog box does not always appear every time I try to open after effects, but when it does, this is the additional information it gives me:
Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WER9F1C.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
    C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WER193B.tmp.appcompat.txt
    C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WER19AA.tmp.mdmp
However I can't find these files on my computer. This is also the same information I get when trying to open FX Home's software, except when I try to open that software I do not get a splash screen or window, the .exe shows up for a few seconds in the task manager and disappears.

  • Captivate 7 closes after splash screen

    Hello everyone!
I installed Captivate 7 on three defferent client workstations (2 Windows 7 Enterprise 32Bit and one 64Bit). (local installs) and get the same thing on all 3.  Captivate splash screen loads, I get the window that comes up saying not responding and then it closes.  No errors.  Nothing in event viewer also.
So I tried it also on my workstation (32Bits), same issue.  Below are the steps I have done to troubleshoot this.
    Removed Captivate and re-installed
    Ran Captivate as Admin
Logged as Admin, removed and re-installed Captivate
Logged as Admin, Ran captivate as Admin
Tried changing the Compatibility to Vista, XP etc
Deleted the Fonts in C:\Windows (of course some fonts stay as they are system fonts)
Deleted the Adobe Captivate Preferences Folder in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 7 folder
The Adobe Cached and Captivate Projects folders are in Documents
Tried installing just the Trial Version
Reboots were done very often also
At this point I'm brain dead and have read about everything I can about this.  I'm sure I forgot some steps, at this point, thinking for me is pretty much like a deer stuck in headlights!
I would appreciate any help on this!
    Thanks.
    Marc

OK after about 1 day of trying to fix this I have fixed my own issue.  Here is how I did it.
    Rebooted PC in Safe Mode
    Logged in as Administrator
    Launched Captivate 7 (it worked)
    Rebooted
    Logged in as Local Administrator
    Launched Captivate, it worked.
Logged to my domain account, launched captivate and now works.
Also tried this on a client workstation and that worked.
    Whoa...

Ok, so if this happens to you here is the solution:
The problem relates to the installed fonts you have. There is no way of knowing exactly which one it is without trial and error enabling and disabling. What worked for me was using a font-managing software like Font Book and having it validate all your fonts. From there delete or disable any questionable ones with errors. Not all fonts with errors create this problem, so it is possible to re-introduce fonts and isolate the one(s) that cause the crash.

  • After Effects CC Crashing Immediately After Splash Screen?

Hey guys, installed cretive cloud recently with a full licence but most of the programs seem to crash straight away after the splash screen.  After Effects, Premier, Photoshop and Media Encoder all seem to do this.  Tried signing in, resigning in, uninstalling, using the adobe cleaner and re-install but still the same.  Any ideas why this might be   Thanks.

  • App builder keeps hanging after splash screen images added

After I upload all my splash screens for SD and HD, I cannot proceed to the next screen.
There are green checks next to HD and SD, and all looks good.
I have not uploaded any fonts as there is no HTML in the app.
I have deleted and re-downloaded the app builder and still get the same behavior.

The problem was that one of the images had a resolution of 72.09 instead of an even 72. after I changed it it worked. Thanks.

  • Loading time of splash screen verus initial siena created splash screen

    Hi everyone,
I have a load issue on windows surface RT device with a seina app.  I need some insight on trying to decrease load time.  This new app has about 2000 images and growing and each image is optimized to be about 20 kb.  This app is for reference
when training in specific disciplines.  The source is an excel file and the images are downloaded locally when published.
I have two splash screens, the initial splash screen that loads via the default html webpage of the app.  The other is a siena screen visual that I call an extended splash screen with the usual timer and rating control. The extended splash screen set
for 2 seconds loads the default settings to be used every time the app loads.  The settings are saved to file when the user changes the configuration.  This all works are designed.
The app loads within 5-7 seconds on a laptop but takes between 25 - 30 seconds to load on the surface device.  I know the initial surface is somewhat slow device but I have tweaked the surface to squeeze every cpu cycle I can during the testing and
    analysis stage.
The initial default splash screen takes about 17 - 21 seconds to load.  I have tried tweaking as much as possible by removing some visuals on the extended splash screen down to 3, picture, timer, rating.  I don't think the extended splash
screen is the issue as this part loads within 7-9 seconds to load.
Can someone explain or provide some insight on the load process during the initial phase on the splash screen, like is the app loading the source data from excel, initializing all the scripts, loading itself into memory, etc... This will allow me to build
    more efficient apps with siena.
    Thanks,
    William

    Hi
I cant really give you an technical insight on the load process, but I have noticed that if I have multiple timers and or gallery's (15 +) (I suspect more timers that gallery's) in my app load time was very slow on ARM devices.
Again not sure if this applies to your app but might help point you towards the issue.
