Loading time within webbrowser is too slowly

Hi guys,
I have made a map with interactive location points, the only thing is, that it started after approx. 9 sec within the web browser and this is really too slowly.
It is made with mouseover and out code, and when you roll over with the mousebutton about a point a small info text appears.
It jumps within the timeline to the labels, that's all.
Have anyone an idea what I have made wrong?
Thanks you all for your help, I am lost at the moment.
Floyd

Hi Tim,
nice to hear of you again, it is very kind of you that you will risk a look into my very first animation in Edge. I was relatively fit in Flash, so I have already a bit experience – but not too much of coding.
In the map-ani there are purple and grey points and if someone trigger a mouseover an info text appears, if the mouse is out of the points the text disappears. Sounds simple – actually .
I have made symbols I thought it could save time for the processing work, but it doesn't.
So the purple points comes from one symbol it is called: "Kreis_Ani_Pink" (it is German) and the grey one is called "Kreis_Ani_Grau", they all are used within the city-points symbols for example: E_Punkt_01 or DU_Punkt_02 and so on.
Hope I have understand the functionality about the timeline, because at first I have stopped it, than it start again and stopped, so I got at least my little bars, which indicate me the presence of the objects in the timeline.
So, you have noticed that I come from Germany and unfortunately we have a bank holiday tomorrow, that means a long weekend, therefore I can't answer you in this time. If you have an idea what I made wrong with this type of interactive animation, I would be happy to hear or better read it by you,
Have also a great weekend - until next week - perhaps

  • Slow image load time in web browsers. My images load too slowly.

    Hi, My images are loading slowly in my site. They are png and all under 600kb. Should they be jpegs (they are photos) Can anyone advise?

    I would do a few tests, I think you might be fine with the High setting, but also try a little lower if you can to conserve load time. It would be good to get your files to around 120kb each.
    A .jpeg file is the way to go, as .png files tend to be 20-40% larger.
    Here is an image that is set to 730x486- saved as Medium - Quality 50 - jpeg - final size 99 kb

  • Why my compiled swf is loading too slowly?

    Hi,
    Previously we are directly accessing th site with .mxml url.
    Thta time file was loading too slowly. But afterwords, we are
    loading compiled .swf file. It is much better.
    assume, we are having two swfs
    1.compiled swf is 400KB.
    2. and one animated swf is 1.5MB.
    here for our site animated swf it self is loading much faster
    then my compiled swf. Why it is happenning like this? What we have
    to do to load our compiled .swf also to be loaded much more fastly.
    Thanks
    Satish KC.

    Load speed depends on how you have architected the
    application.
    Avoid nested containers. Do not use creationPolicy="all"
    There are articles available out there try google.

  • Afterstep loading too slowly

    I am trying the afterstep window manager but if loads too slowly
    Everytime it loads ,when it gets to the bit where it "reloading menu pixmaps" it takes ages. Is there anything I can do to stop it reloading menu pixmaps apart from deleting all my pictures?

    Andy - you will notice how slow USB 1 is when you are syncing lots of music (1GB or more) but it won't be that bad when you are syncing a couple CDs worth of music or a TV show or video.
    When I tested the original Nano on my wife's G4 iMac I found that a CD takes about a minute to transfer over USB 1. That's not too bad. Of course waiting for the entire Nano to fill up, that was a much longer wait! Since we tend to swap out only a couple CDs at a time, it isn't a big deal.

  • Movie Load Time Too Slow

    Hello!
    I've created three movies for a new website; all photo slide shows with 10-14 photos and some text.  The photos have all been optimized in Photoshop and saved for web...most are under 100kb, however the movies are taking a long time to load on the webpages.  Is there anything I can do through Edge Animate to reduce the load time?  Even with the preloader, the load time is way too long.  I've inserted the movies into the html pages using iframe.  Any suggestions are much appreciated.  Thanks!

    Hi Simon,
    I want to reduce Power View blank canvas / PowerView report load time from SSAS Tabular source in the SharePoint 2013 Portal.
    I have observed that a PowerView report with 1 View, loads faster than a PowerView report with multiple (4) Views, so I think that your statement "Power View only retrieves the data it needs at any given time for a data visualization" might
    be incorrect.
    I have read the link you have provided and have all the patches applied, besides I am not using a Power Pivot source.
    My tabular cube is complex and has about 200 measures, and the blank Power View canvas takes about 13 seconds to load in SharePoint 2013 URL from web browser. Appreciate if you can provide any insights here please.
    Thanks, Ashish Singh

  • Email loading times too long (Gmail, E75)

    Hi dudes, and thanks for reading.
    Email provider: Gmail
    Phone: E75
    Phone firmware: 202.12.01 (the newest)
    I'm getting pretty long waiting times when my phone loads my emails.
    I have set up an account to the phone's email application. It lists the emails in real time, but when I try to open an one, the loading time gets overwhelming.
    It is not a pleasure to use the email application.
    Can I do anything for this? Another app?
    Any help wuold be appreciated!!!

  • Stunnigly slow load time. It isn't my system, because both Chrome and Safari load in less han ten seconds. Firefox is too bloated.

    Folks, I don't use Firefox much anymore. Why? Because the load time has become ridiculous. Chrome and Safari both load in less than ten seconds. Firefox can take up to a minute. And usually does. It has become bloated. It has lost the intent. You say the fox is the fastest? It isn't. Either in load time or search time. Chrome smashes the fox. Simpler, cleaner, faster. Isn't that what Firefox was all about in the beginning? You folks need to take a giant back step.

    Agreed...I'm considering jumping ship. Too many crashes, hangs constantly, too many secure sites the server can longer find even though they've been bookmarked for ages, takes forever to load and plug-in issues galore. It's sad, the last 6 months have been horrendous and nothing is getting fixed with all the constant updates. No one should have to clear cookies and cache as much as is always suggested here just to get pages to load that load on other browsers with no problem.

  • Loading time of Captivate movies within LMS

    Hello everyone.
    My group created Captivate training modules, published them
    as flash files with SCORM tagging, and are working with our LMS
    team to view how the modules play within the LMS. Unfortunately we
    are running into loading time issues with our movies. In my office
    I have a T1 line and I still have to wait several minutes before
    our movies begin to play.
    Once the moduleas are loaded they play fine. It's just the
    load time that I'm concerned about.
    Does anyone have any suggestions as to what my group can
    attempt to bring down these loading times? As of now all we have
    are our modules published as swf files loaded into the LMS.
    Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in
    advance.

    Captivate has a built-in limit of 60% loaded before it starts
    playing. I
    don't think that can be customized but I could certainly be
    wrong.
    So things you can do:
    1. look to see if you can adjust the amount of the file that
    can be
    downloaded before the file will play. Perhaps it's just a
    matter of not
    including a preloading image?
    2. Reduce the size of your movies so they download quicker.

  • Windows loading time is too long!

    After I installed Desktop manager  ver4.6 to my PC .  PC loading time  is very long,
     It takes 3 minutes to load  desktop screen when turning on PC .  (without Desktop Manager it takes one and 30 minutes)
    Does Anyone have same issue ?         OS: XP pro
    After  finish loading  I do not feel slow.
    please help me out .
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Do you have the Desktop Manager set to load when the computer boots up? If so you can disable that by going into Add/Remove Programs, select the Desktop Manager and hit the Change/Remove button. Hit Modify, select the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and hit Next. You want to keep going through the wizard to pick the same options you did when installing it. When you're on the last screen before you hit 'Install' uncheck the box that says to start the Desktop Manager when the computer starts.

  • Load time too darn slow!

    I just included an html header in my template. All of my images (for a menu) are in a folder, properly referenced in HTML. I made the HTML document specifically for this pdf file. The header loads fine when pulling up the initial JSP page but once I run the rdf template, the data shows up but the header stops @ 38% and none of the header images load. All of the images have been optimized for the web. Is there anything else I can do? I noticed that my pdf versions (no html header) take forever to load as well. What can I do to speed up the load time??

    Sorry, I didn't mean PDF file, I meant rdf.

  • 0PM_ORDER loading time too long

    Hi All. We have about 600 000 PM orders in the system. Loading the master data attributes for this into BW/BI takes almost an hour. There seems to be no delta load available. Most of this running time is on ECC6. I cannot restrict the orders in the info package because there are orders created a long time ago which are still active.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Johan Loock

    We have just under 600,000.  After perfroming a full load of all Orders, what we did to deal with 0PM_ORDER load times was to use the ABAP Conversion exit on the Infopackage's Data Selection tab.  The datasource contains Created On(ERDAT) and Change(AEDAT) dates and we rely on those dates to filter the Orders we extract.
    We load two Infopackages (full loads) each day, one that loads any Orders created in the last 7 days and another that loads any Orders changed in the last 7 days.
    ABAP conversion exit code for created in last 7 days -
    data: l_low_date like sy-datum,
    l_idx like sy-tabix.
    read table l_t_range with key
          fieldname = 'ERDAT'.
    l_idx = sy-tabix.
    l_low_date = sy-datum - 6.
    l_t_range-option = 'BT'.
    l_t_range-low = l_low_date.
    l_t_range-high = sy-datum.
    modify l_t_range index l_idx.
    p_subrc = 0.
    The Changed code is the same, but it references AEDAT.
    The load times for the Created and Changed Infopackages are about 1 - 2 minutes each.

  • PowerView (SharePoint 2013) Load time too slow

    I am using PowerView in SharePoint 2013 and when I access the SSAS 2012 Tabular Data Source through a "Report Data Source", the PowerView Canvas with the Field List takes a long while to load and the users get restless seeing the Blue spinning
    wheel. I tested this on different tabular models and am seeing different results based on the complexity of the model.
    Complex Model - 13 secs.
    Adventure Works Model - 9 secs.
    Very Simple Model (1 fact, 1 dim) - 8 secs.
    I think if the model is complex then the engine takes a longer time to render the field list. How to get around this limitation and bring the blank canvas load time to under 5 secs.? I am curious to know if anyone has ever seen lesser load times in their
    environment for the blank PowerView canvas and field lists.
    Alternatively, If the field list loading takes time, is it possible to disable it? Because, I have already created dashboards for the end users in PowerView and do not want to load the field list if it is slowing down the entire experience.
    Appreciate any guidance.
    Thanks, Ashish Singh

  • Adobe Edge Animate JavaScript Coding issues/page load time speeds

    To let you have an idea of my skill set I have a background in animation and design and have been taking classes in web development. My question is about how to create an interactive website that loads various animation depending on the user's choice and current place within the Adobe Edge Animate timeline. The website I developed for a client @ www.goshowpro.com works but loads slower than I want and doesn't format properly on my client's Macbook (I believe he needs to update his browsers but that is something else.)
    So as you can see from looking at my website I used a multitude of HTML files to create my vision of an interactive website based off of a theatrical stage. I know this is not an ideal method. I would prefer to have it all on one page but I am having trouble with my javascript coding. I was wondering if there would be away to expedite my current site's load time and if not if you could look at my NEW coding. (This IS NOT the current coding on the site.)
    if = "hstop" "chomstop" "shomstop" "phomstop"
    {sym.play("hporstart")};
    else = "hconstop" "sconstop" "pconstop"
    {sym.play("cporstart")};
    else = "hserstop" "cserstop" "pserstop"
    {sym.play("sporstart")};
    It looks crappy but I'm trying to learn so don't laugh too much. Thanks again.
    Michael

    Hi, Marlene-
    We currently bundle jQuery 1.7.1 with the Animate runtime.  In order to call fadeOut() on the element newSquare, you would do the following:
    sym.$("newSquare").fadeOut();
    OR
    sym.getSymbol("newSquare").getSymbolElement().fadeOut();
    Hope that helps!
