    Can I load two different itunes on my computer for two different ipods?  Or how can I get it so that when I click on itunes, only my songs come up and not my wifes?  And the same for her.

    Yes.  The simplest way is to have separate Windows accounts for each user.  When either user runs iTunes, he/she will have a separate library with distinct content, playlists, etc., and can sync individual iDevices as needed.

    I'd like to edit my site from iWeb on two computers, is this possible?
    I started creating my site on a PB 15", but when I'm home I like the speed of my iMac and I'd like to continue the editing process on my iMac but I can't find the files that iWeb saves.
    I'd ideally like to save my site on my 30gig iPod using it as a hard drive between both. I would love for this to happen but I can't find the files saved by iWeb. Is this even possible?
    I've even tried linking my PB to my iMac via firewire as a hard drive. No Luck.

    I think iWeb only recognizes the 'domain.sites' file so while you can set up more than one site, they are in the same project.
    Of course, the workround is to move the domain.sites file out of the default location, which them makes iWeb create a new one. You can then work on any number of projects, only moving the correct file into the default location for work on each one. Not elegant by any means, but until someone suggests a better way (or Apple produce a more flexible version of the software) it works fine that way.

    CS2 is very old and reached its "end of life" a while back.  So probably won't run on modern operating systems.  If you can still run it, you'll need to uninstall what you have and re-install with the download link below to activate it.

  • Loading two swfs and playing them sequentially

    Hello Team,
               I have searched, but can't seem to find an answer to my question.  I'm working in Flash cs6 on Windows platform. I do not understand how to load two external swf files into another swf file(Main swf) and have them play sequentially. I certain that this task is extremely small to a lot of members of this forum, but if someone could be so kind to assist me with this inquiry I will be over-joyed.
    I am able to load one swf with the following code:
    var swf:MovieClip;
    var loader:Loader = new Loader();
    var defaultSWF:URLRequest = new URLRequest("swf/gallery.swf");
    loader.load(defaultSWF);
    addChild(loader);

    AS3 - Dispatch Event
    Example:
    Add something to trigger the event in the child:
    dispatchEvent(new Event("eventTriggered"));
    (if dispatchEvent problem, see: http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1899603#post1899603)
    The listener for this event has to be added to the main file AFTER the external file has been loaded.  In your loading/parent swf, listen for the complete event on the Loader.contentLoaderInfo.
    yourLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, loaderCompleteHandler);
    In the complete event handler, add a listener for the event on the loaded swf.
    // event handler triggered when external swf is loaded
    function loaderCompleteHandler(event:Event) {
        MovieClip(event.currentTarget.content).addEventListener("eventTriggered", eventHandler);
    Then just create the event handler for the dispatched event listener that was created in the loaderCompleteHandler function.
    function eventHandler(event:Event):void {
        trace("event dispatched in loaded swf");
        // load/play your second swf now

  • I down loaded two movies to watch on a flight, when I tried two watch either one of them, it said" not authorized for this content"   Not sure what this means. I don't think I have child control on.

    I Down loaded two movies to watch on a flight. When I tried to watch either one of them it said " not authorized to watch this content" and it would load to watch. I donot believe I have child controls on.

    I have read about some cases where movies rented or purchased on one device will not play on another device. Seems to happen mostly with Apple TV and iPads. One way some have worked around it is to cable from the downloaded device to a TV or Apple TV.
    Were these movies purchased or rented from iTunes? Not sure, but that almost sounds like a iTunes Password problem. Maybe try checking that you're signed in as the same account that purchased the movies.

  • Can you load two Zen Micros on Windows

    Has anyone loaded two Zen Micro MP3 players to their system? I cannot get two to work properly. The new one won't transfer any music files. Can anyone help? Thank you.

    The key thing is that the main versions are the same i.e. either .xx or 2.xx.
    Even so, the player with .0.03 ought to be updated to ..0 as there are some important bug fixes.

  • Possible to prevent Firefox from loading two versions of Flash, without disabling PLID scan?

    Our IT department—what a great way to start a question—does not roll out regular updates for Flash. To bridge this security gap for Firefox on my work computer, I copy the following files:
    * flashplayer.xpt
    * FlashPlayerPlugin_<version>.exe
    * FlashUtil32_<version>_Plugin.exe
    * NPSWF32_<version>.dll
    from C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash on another machine and paste them to
    C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Plugins on my work machine. When Firefox starts, it scans the various locations (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Plugin_scanning) and finds both this version and of course the outdated version originally installed, which IT does not update (currently 11.1.102.55). This effectively updates Flash, and until IT finds a solution to distribute updates I'll have to continue to update Flash manually (Java is unfortunately not so easy to fix), but still leaves me with a problem.
    My perceived problem is that Firefox still scans the default installation directory of Flash and thus finds the outdated version. Under Add-ons > Plug-ins, I can select from "Ask to Activate," "Always Activate" and "Never Activate." If I select "Ask to Activate" for the current version (12.0.0.43) and "Never Activate" for the old version (11.1.102.55), upon restarting Firefox it sets both to "Ask to Activate." I conclude that Firefox does not treat separate Flash versions independently. Since constantly being prompted to activate Flash is bothersome, I could just set both to "Always Activate," but that leaves an old, even-more-compromised-than-the-current version of Flash activated.
    The best solution, I suppose, would be to uninstall the outdated version of Flash, but I don't have the administrative rights to do so, and don't want to pester our IT administrators. I could prevent Firefox from scanning the directories specified in the Windows registry for PLIDs (see above link), but this would prevent it from finding my also-outdated-but-only-installed Java Plug-In, which I keep thinking I need. The behavior I'm after is to prevent Firefox from scanning or finding the old Flash version, while still finding my Java Plug-in. How could I go about this?
    Thanks

    Maybe you can check the pluginreg.dat file to see if you can disable/remove the other Flash plugin and make the file read-only to prevent changes.
    You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Loading two different SAP BW system from one SAP R/3

    Hi all,
    is it possible to load the data from one SAP R/3 4.7 to two different SAP BW systems in parallel?:
    A) BW 2.1C
    B) BW 3.5
    I mean not because R/3 has for example version of R/3 Plug-In which is compatible only to one R/3 Plug-In installed on BW side.
    Are there any other restrictions? Ar there any workarounds how to hande this situation?

  • Conflict Loading Two LLBs

    Hey,
    I'm having a problem calling two separate LLBs from TestStand within the same execution. If I create a sequence file and call one or the other LLBs the execution can run without a problem. If I create a sequence file and call both of the LLBs one of the two LLBs will fail to load and TestSand will give this error message:
    I've ensured that all of the VIs created in either project are uniquely named so that they don't conflict when loading. But I'm not aware of what other possible conflicts might exist or a method for diagnosing what is causing the conflict. I know the LLBs both contain some common XNET subVI's and other common subVI's, but they should be the exact same subVI, and I haven't experienced a conflict with other LLBs under similar circumstances.
    So, I'm not really sure where to go from here to solve the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Kevin
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hey Kevin,
    It sounds like a namespace problem to me. Even if the VI components are named differently in the LLB, there would likely still be a problem. LLB's will not prevent name collisions.
    I would actually recommend changing how you distribute your VI components as .LLB's are a bit dated and have some drawbacks. My recommendation would be to manage your LabVIEW code as project libraries (.lvlib) or packed project libraries. The last post in this thread by user Jervin Justin actually brings up some really good points about this,
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand/What-are-the-advantages-of-using-LabVIEW-projects-in-TestStand/...
    Based on this thread (and the information in this white paper on packed project libraries) I would most likely recommend a packed project library approach for a solution to what you're looking for.
    Here is some further documentation that you might find interesting:
    TestStand Help: LabVIEW Project Libraries: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370052K-01/tsdeploysystem/infotopics/lvprojectlibrary/
    Using LabVIEW with TestStand (page 7-7): http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375070b.pdf
    I would honestly try out implementing a packed project library approach for your testing VI's, as opposed to the .LLB's. If this is not feasible for you though, we can try to approach the problem in a different way. Just let me know.
    Have a great day!

  • Loading two tables at same time with SQL Loader

    I have two tables I would like to populate from a file C:\my_data_file.txt.
    Many of the columns I am loading into both tables but there are a handful of columns I do not want. The first column I do not want for either table. My problem is how I can direct SQL Loader to go back to the first column and skip over it. I had tried using POSITION(1) and FILLER for the first column while loading the second table but I got THE following error message:

  • Why can't iTunes down load two songs with the same name but different artists to my iPhone?

    I noticed this a couple of years ago but had forgotten about it. Today I purchased two songs, both called Bop Gun (One Nation) but by different artists. When I looked at the purchased list on one appears. If I go back to iTunes and download the other one, the former disappears. Are they honestly saying that these phones are intelligent enough to distinguish a song by artist rather than track listing?
    Epic Fail!!!

    Usually a song is uniquely identified by song name, artist, album and track number. That said internally I suspect the iTunes Store may allow one song to appear on more than one album while they only need to store one copy of the audio data. (They must also be able to cope with the situation, for example, where the UK & US version of an album have a different track order). It is also possible there is an error in the database that means you're not getting the song you're expecting. If you can't successfully download the two (presumably) different versions of the song then use the report a problem links in your account history and explain the issue. Hopefully the iTunes Store support staff can get it resolved.

  • Sharing a single itunes library between two computers - must be possible!

    Hi there,
    This is probably a commonly asked question, but I cannot find a step by step guide to doing it (if indeed it is possible).
    I have got a copy of itunes running on my media computer/server in my living room. What I want is to connect my laptop over the network and share this library - the effect being that it is like I am using the original computer.
    In essence I want to be able to add muscic, edit tracks, update my ipod from either computer and the changes be made in respect of both computers. I suspect that this is done by making sure that the laptop uses the same database information as that created by my main computer but am not really sure where to start.
    Could anyone perhaps give me a step by step guide as to how to do this - a single database that can be used by two computers each running itunes. One thing I am pretty sure is not possible is to for two people to be using itunes at the same time, so I would ahve to avoid this.
    Thanks very much.

    Ah. Sorry about that, I guess I skimmed over the add music part. Correct, in that the home sharing wouldn't allow you to add music to the media server library. The only thing that I can think of that would give you what you want is to use a shared folder on the network and then map both of the iTunes to that folder. At least that way music would go into the same folder. The only question is about the library on the other computer, if it would get updated when you use the other to add music.
