Loading websites is slow and firefox keeps hanging and nothing in the main help forum helps
Sites like youtube are slow to load and firefox seems to hang alot.
A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Hi,
My newest Apple TV which I bought on Amazon finally arrived and worked for 2 days. Now all of a suudden it is refusing to load the main page to select movies, radio, netflix etc. All I am getting is a page saying homesharing with only an option to select Computers of Settings. I have reset the Apple TV, restored it but nothing...it keeps going back to this page saying computers and settings. I've tried updating the software as well but after 30 minutes or so it tells me software update was unsuccessful and to go to settingsand choose restore and the loop begins? Is it permanently broken?I had the same issue Berry. What worked for me was going to the General Settings and doing a reset from there. I got all my apps back but had to re-enter all my information for iTunes, Netflix, Hulu etc...

Firefox crashes within a few minutes of being on Internet. Most Web pages crash. I need to open multiple tabs to work, and it always crashes soon after I start to work. This began after updating to 4. I replaced 4 with the older version, but the problem keeps happening. When u click on a picture that loads the popup that Facebook has recently introduced on occasion Firefox just hangs and becomes unresponsive and has to be closed by using task manager. It doesn't happen every time say for every 2 out of 10.

Firefox keeps crashing, and adobe plugin crashing, too?
So, for a few days now, Firefox has been extremely touchy. It would crash at random times, but now, it crashes whenever I try to type something. It has gotten progressively worse. Also, I cannot play videos, as "Adobe Plugin has crashed". This isn't just once or twice. This is every video on every site. Please help!

My Nokia E5 keeps hanging and restarting on it's own. It is very frustrating especially when work is so busy and I need to use the phone frequently. Is there any solution to the problem??
you need to perform a master reset on your phone since the normal reset wont do it. but be mindful that when you do master reset, it will delete all of the contents of your phone memory so backup your data first on the comp and use ovi suite, visit these website for assistance on backup https://www.nokia.co.uk/ovisuite and click on how to. then once the backup is finish, dial these code on your phone *#7370# and lock code is 12345. it will get rid off that error message and then restore your backup file again from the ovi suite.

Even with a brand new computer, Firefox frequently hangs and/or quits spontaneously. I downloaded the latest update last night, and it worked okay for about a half hour this morning, then quit.
Do you have Internet Security Software turned on in your Internet Explorer?
I turned mine off, as I have Norton AV. Go into Internet Explorer and check to see if you have that on and try turning that off...and then try to get back onto FF. You may have to restart your computer, I'm not sure, as I'm not a techie. I just know that the Internet Security Software clashed with my Norton AV.

Firefox keeps freezing and using 50% cpu and memory usage shoots up real fast and carries on going till it uses up all there is left. Most of the time it's when there's an auto update of anything addon, plugin or ff but not just neccessarily then! I find out it's happened when there's been an update after i restart and an extra webpage comes up with the particular addon/plugin/ff update. I have to restart most of time because nothing sorts it out. I'm using windows xp with the latest update of ff 13.0.1 it's not this version because it's been happening for a while. And it never started when i added a particular addon or plugin or when i added a new app to my pc either. Any idea as to what this may be or how i'd sort it out?

Why does Firefox keep hanging, crashing, sulking, dying when internet connection behaves? Once it renders the page it should forget about the page. Why does it behave when some link is clicked when there is no internet? It should just say internet not available or some crap. Why die, sulk, crash?? I don't get it! 3 series was much much much better!
I should add, I've re-downloaded Firefox, but that doesn't look like it has helped any. Still get seemingly inexplicable crashes.

need help MacBook 2007 won't start up all of the way it gets the loading circle thing then it just keeps going and a bar thing pops up to load but doesn't and about a few minutes and it shut off. I don't have a disk for the computer or another Mac so what do I do?
I don't have the disk and i tried the shift key and it didn't do anything, i have tried like everything but it won't work and i was givin this computer with a charger and that is all nothing came with it and i don't think that it had the lion thing on it either i never got to that it just won't turn on and i have another mac that was a family members but it won't turn on either at all it won't load anything the screen stays black. so i don't really know at all what to do is there anything else? i don't want to take it anywhere because i have no money for that, and i need this computer for school. I've downloaded the new security patch 3 times in the last couple of weeks, put it in my applications and from there onto the dashboard, and Firefox keeps telling me that I need to download it again. This is crazy... Firefox can't recognize it's own application???
If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
