Loans disappear from report after fields from second table are added

We are using Crystal XI.  We have two tables from a sequel database we use for the reports, and we always have.  Suddenly, we have been experiencing problems with loans being dropped from the reports and we have been trying to isolate the problem.  To troubleshoot, I created a very simple report to provide the loan number and the borrower name from Table 1.  I did not create any parameters so the report provided the information for all loans in the database.  However, when I add a field to the report from Table 2, either all of the loans disappear or the number of loans on the report are drastically reduced.
As another test, I created a report to include just the loan number.  The loan number field appears in both tables.  I get different results if add the loan number to the report from Table 1 than I get if I add the loan number to the report from Table 2. When I create the report, the tables auto-link with no errors.
I have reviewed all the report options and general options in Crystal and can't find why this is occurring.  I have had our IT staff troubleshoot and help me test using older versions of the tables, but we get the same results.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

From what you have described, could it be your table joins?  You mention that once you add the second table, records get dropped.
Check your table join, even though it auto links, right click on the link and see if the join is INNER or LEFT OUTER.
If INNER then every loan number in Table 1 should exist in Table 2, LEFT OUTER = every loan number in table 1 will be fetched irrespective of whether it has a corresponding match in table 2 or not.
Check your joins and change them and see if that makes a difference.

Just just launch the Mac App Store, select the "Purchased" tab and download MainStage or any other application you already bought.

In the Dreamweaver brim Bindings, the recordset and all of the fields of the table are not EXHIBITED. I don't know if an option of configuration adjustment exists in Dreamweaver that corrects the problem. It is Dreamweaver CS4 - Version 10.0 build 4117.

I have traced the problem to a corrupted profile.  When I captured the images in question, I also used Color Cherckr to create a profile for processing.  When I apply that profile to the adjustments I make, I can no longer "Edit In".  If I use another profile, even one that I created using Color Checkr at a different point in time, I don't have the issue.  Something seems to have corrupted the new profile.  I will re-create the profile and see if the issue is resolved.

    Hi,
after upgrade from 2004A to 2005 all our custom report can't be able to print. I think (mybe) that during upgrade each id field is missing: on 2004A id-filed are numeric only and in 2005 ara alphabetic+numeric. It's true ? or it is a error on my system ?

  • Appointments disappear in iCal after converting from MobileMe to iCloud

We recently converted to iCloud from Mobileme after upgrading to 10.7.2 and we have lost all of our appointments, both past and future in all calendars, both on the Macs and in iCloud.
When I first converted my machine, I had duplicate and triplicate entries, then after opening iCal for the third or fourth time, all entries dispapeared.  My wife experienced the same thing this morning.
Checked the "Hide" boxes and all are unticked.  If we add a new appointment, it will duplicate and/or disappear.
I have an iPhone and the calendar is empty on that also.  My wife's Mac does not sync with an iPhone or any other device, just iCloud.
Any clues as to what is going on?

It took over an hour and three people, including second level support, but we have an answer.
Basically there is some confusion between the meta data being held on an external server (iCloud and/or Mobile Me) and the local machine.  Here's the SBS for the solution:
In System Preferences, uncheck all syncing in iCloud (pay attention to messages)
    Logout of iCloud
    Logout of Mobile Me
Sever the Internet connection, killing the connection to the external servers
Restore the Calendar data stored in user/library/calendar via Time Machine or other backup source
Open iCal and export all calendars to a backup location (user/documents will do)
    Reconnect the Internet connection
Open System Preferences > iCloud, log back in to iCloud and re-establish syncing for all desired options, including Calendar
Open iCal and import backed up data
Check calendar for accuracy in iCal and iCloud

  • Report with fields from multiple objects

I have a query regarding reports:
For a certain role I gave "Has Access" to only SRs and not the other objects and added a certain book containing SRs. I have a report with fields pulled from SRs, Accounts and Contacts. Is it necessary that the role should have "Has Access" to Accounts and Contacts also for this report to show any data?
    Please suggest.

  • #datasync error - could that come from merging on fields from fact tables instead of dimensions tables?

I'm reporting out of two universes published by Epic
    1. Warehouse - Patient
    2. Warehouse - Transactions
I wanted to join two queries based on the primary key for a hospital encounter. Following the tutorial seemed pretty straightforward until I got to displaying data from a merged query.
The table displayed results from Query1, but adding fields from Query2 wiped out all the data in the table, leaving only #datasync in each field.
My workaround to get fields from both queries displayed (see screenshot)
    1. Merge queries on *two* fields - primary key of hospital encounter and primary key of patient
    2. Create new variable
    3. Make variable type Detail
    4. Associate variable with hospital encounter key from Query1
    5. Set formula equal to a field from Query2
I'm not sure why this workaround works or if what I'm experiencing is a symptom of something larger. Could this workaround be needed because I am merging on fields from a fact table instead of fields from a dimension table?
    Thanks in advance

You have defined merged dimension on 'company code-Key' which is common in both the Bex-queries.
You are able to bring the merged dimension and other objects from  Query_ One to report block without any issue but when adding objects from Query_Two you are getting the error #DATASYNC.
In this case objects from Query_One are got sync with the merged dimension object without any issue because they got added first to it.
Similarly when you add merged dimension and objects from Query_Two you find no issue, because objects from Query_Two go sync first.
Once objects from a query(Query_One/Query_Two) got added to a merged dimension, when we try adding objects from other query we get #DATASYNC error. This is because data in the other query is not able to sync with the initial result set, this is a know behavior.
    There are two workarounds:
    1) Merging all common dimension/characteristic objects: Only merged dimensions data will sync with the initial query,  un-merged dimensions/characteristic objects will still give #DATASYNC error.
    2) Create detail objects/attribute objects at report level for all uncommon characteristic/dimension objects from query_two referring to merged dimension. Then add these newly created detail/attribute objects to the table block that is having initial query objects with merged dimension, with this you see result set of query_two in the table block  not #DATASYNC error.

  • Printing from CS3 after export from LR2  (Mac OS X) blurry / undersaturated

    Hi all,
New to the forum and it might be with a question which already has been answered but I really could not find it, so here's my try.
Recently bought a Canon 50D and Pixma 4600 and started shooting pics (RAW) of my newborn kid. After importing and basic processing (WB, exposure, noise) in LR I exported pics to CS3 in various ways (TIFF 16 bit, DNG, Original file, different DPI, up to 500 etc.) and did some detail work over there.
After printing from CS3 all pictures look slightly blurry, undersaturated and underlit. Did a lot of trying on all settings (IP4600 profile from CS3, saturated, relative. etc. etc.) and when finally comparing identical pics printed from LR and CS3, the detail and overall quality of the LR pics is much better.
Any help would be greatly welcome as I cannot imagine being the first one with this problem and because I am convinced that it should be possible to print very accurate and brilliant images from CS3.
    Overview of equipment :
    Canon 50D
    Imac 20", 2.4 GHz 4 Gig memory
    Pixma IP4600
    LR 2.1
    CS3
Thank you all for your help, understanding and kindness,
    Michiel

  • Delete mail from server after removed from IN BOX

I have a mail management issue I have not been able to fully solve.
I am balancing the same POP email accounts among the laptop using Mail (for home use) and my desktop using Eudora Pro (for work). Using Eudora, I can manually select to delete a message from the server. Eudora's manual deletions are flawless. Using Mail, the only option I can see that will help me do this is to select delete mail "When moved from In Box." If I hit the "delete" key, wouldn't that be the same as "moving if from the IN BOX?" When is the protocol actually carried out? On the next mail check? Immediately? Upon quitting and restarting Mail? I'm confused as to how this happens and why it does not seem to work all of the time.
Any and all assistance is most appreciated.
    Much obliged,
    Mick

Yes, deleting a message counts as moving it out of
the inbox. The commands to remove the message from
the server are sent the next time you check mail from
that server, but only if there are new messages to be
received from the server. Yes, many of us feel that
is a bug in Mail, that it should send the remove from
server commands the next time you check mail, whether
or not there are new messages to be downloaded.
Oh Gawd, I bet that's it. Yes, if that is the case, I would agree. It does not lead to efficient mail management if there needs to be a new message there. Do you know of any plans to change or alter that? Or has someone written an AppleScript of some kind to execute the command regardless?
It's a great command, otherwise. It's nice to be able to delete a message off of one computer and have it delete off of the server without any extra hassle.
Just wondering if there are any workarounds out there other than sending oneself a new message to get the delete from server command to activate.
    cheers,
    Mick

  • How to restore from an incremental backup when new datafiles are added

    1) Source - We have a base backup and then take differential (LEVEL 1) backups every day. Due to business needs, new datafiles keep added daily in the database. So you will see an incremental backup having new datafiles that got created after the LEVEL 0 backup.
    2) Destination - We want to restore this database in the destination host "continiously".
    a) I first restored from the BASE FULL - LEVEL 0 . This was successful (restored and recovered, but did not OPEN the database)
    b) But restoring a LEVEL 1 now on top of the already restored LEVEL 0 makes the restore start all over again if there are NEW DATAFILES added after the LEVEL 0 backup in the source database.
This is not a problem when no new datafiles are added/modified between the "BASE" and "LEVEL 1" backup.
So how do you "just restore only the new datafiles" instead of "starting from BASE LEVEL 0 restore" again " ?
    -Thanks
    Srini

    Hi Srini,
So how do you "just restore only the new datafiles" instead of "starting from BASE LEVEL 0 restore" again " ?The recovery process after the restore should add the newly created datafiles on the destination host.
Can you check by querying v$datafile in mount mode and post the output?

  • Why do new event items disappear from calendar after a few seconds

Suddenly, new event items disappear from calendar a few seconds (7-30) after creation. This has never been a problem before, and I have used iCal for years. All my old events remain but as of today, when I try to add an event, it stays on the screen for a few seconds, then disappears. I tried entering the events on my iPhone and then syncing, but they went away on my phone as well. Does anyone have an idea of what's happening? Is my iCal out of memory?

I had success with this method:
    1) make a backup of iCal's database (-> file menu)
    2) revert to that same backup ( " " )

  • Memory Leak in Report after upgrading from Crystal Reports 10.5 to 13.0.1/2

I'm currently having an issue with crystal reports 13 (Visual Studio 2010), We have recently updated our CRM Solution to use the newer crystal reports runtime as we are now using Visual Studio 2010,
We have a client who has a report which contains a sub report which basically contains a Image pulled from a MSSQL Database as a BLOB Image Field which is basically scanned images relating to the report, Previously the report worked fine before the Client Updated our CRM Solution to the latest version, Now for each individual page which has the scanned image the application is swallowing 100 MB of ram, as there are around 32 of these scanned images and our solution is a 32 bit application we are getting out of memory errors due to the whole 2GB addressable to a 32 bit process limitation,
The images are around 4MP and stored in JPG format in the database so should not be consuming over 100mb of ram per image displayed by the report even if they are being stored uncompressed in RGBA Format,
Likewise when viewing the pages of the report manually after a specific page (when the amount of memory addressable by a 32 bit application gets hit) the images just don't display and then any pages with the image are not being displayed and not giving an error / exception.
I have tried re-saving the .rpt files to cause them to be in the newer crystal reports format and this is still happening, likewise I have tried un-installing the 13.0.1 and installing the 13.0.2 runtime.
I am just about to check SQL which pulls the image for the sub report, although I am sure for each sub report it should only be pulling one row with one jpeg image in case the sub report is holding quite a few images but only displaying the first.
Likewise If all else fails I will try re-creating the report as I have experienced issues with some other specific reports doing strange things after being updated from the 2008 runtime which I really am not liking the idea of due to how fiddly crystal reports can be, It is good and does the job but takes far longer than some other solutions to get what you are trying to achieve done.
This report had been working fine for 2+ years before the client updated to the most recent version of our CRM Software.
Has anyone else experienced simular issues with the latest runtime.

I have just been reviewing the code for this and it appears that the sub report is pulling all of the images,
It is strange that previously this was working fine seems like the newer runtime does not dispose of the data once it has been displayed on a sub report which would explain memory leak as it will call the select again pulling approx 60 images which are probably approx 8 - 900KB plus sub report + uncompressed image to display and then filtering.
I am about to modify this report and will post if fix i put in place resolves the issue.
