Local files autoplay issue

Hello everyone,First of all. I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right section since this is my first forum post here. I'm using Spotify for quite a while now and I love it, only this issue has given me many headaches over the past month.I Googled and searched on this forum for people having the same issue, and tried the answers given there. Sadly it hasn't fixed it for me just yet. My issue is that my Local files won't autoplay.This means everytime a local file is next in the playlist, I have to click next song > last played song for it to work. This is okay at first but now it has been going on for quite a bit that I'm getting pretty sick of it. At first everything worked fine untill one moment. Then it stopped working and thought it would be an issue in Spotify and I should just wait for next patch/update since this happened to my Android app earlier.Sadly this wasn't the case and after a bit of searching I found a topic saying the fraunhofer codec could fix the issue.After trying that, sadly still no result. Then I went on and installed the K-Lite codec pack and using the 'fix broken codec' option.But sadly, still no good result.The local files play, but they won't autoplay. So basically when a song ends and a local file is next in line, I have to press next song > previous song everytime. The name of the next song will pop up, but no time will show and the 'bar' will be at the end of the track (where it left off with the previous track) as you can see here: PictureHere the "Ghost Assassin VIP" is a local file and the 'progress bar' still shows from the song that was playing previously. I tried this on different playlists with different files, unlinking files, with both the fraunhofer and K-Lite codecs and with a clean install of both Spotify and the K-Lite codec pack (first spotify without the codec pack, then codec pack afterwards).Maybe good to mention I'm running WIndows 8.1 Pro x64 and Spotify 1.0.6.80.g2a801a53. I don't have a clue what I can try otherwise. Pretty dissapointed that there is no response whatsoever.The issue still persists and it's really bugging me. I have a Premium membership and it's a huge shame I can't use the program to it's full functionality without issues like this.This used to happen before, but an update fixed it. But this time it's back and the updates I received in the past 4 weeks haven't fixed it yet..

  • Drag local files to repository: bug or Vista-issue?

    I'm not very familiar with the Workbench yet; I only used LC Designer so far. Now I'm trying to add (standalone) forms to the repository of a project in the Workbench.
    As I understand from WB's Help, it should be possible to drag files from local file system to a folder in the repository. But when trying this it doesn't work (cursor changes into a 'not allowed to drop' sign). Is this some kind of bug in Workbench or is this (again) one of the annoying security-issues of Windows Vista? (Although I'm running on Vista Business as local admin, started WB with admin-rights and have full rights on the repository)
    Does anyone has an idea? Is there an alternative way to get this done?

    This is an OS permission problem.  Make sure you have ownership of the HD.  Do a web search on how to check.  External HD can be a problem for permission.

  • Saving ALV Grid to Local File issue - Missing half of the report

    Hi Experts, Good Day.
    I have developed an ALV Grid report using class CL_SALV_TABLE which displays 200 Columns and 100+ rows/records. It is displaying well, but when I am saving the output into local file (any type) there only 98 columns are downloading and remaining all the columns are missing.
    I would like to know whether there is any restriction for number of columns or what might the problem for it. How can I download all the columns into local file.

    Thanks for your response. Even though there are multiple ways to send data to local file I believe all three are same. And even I am facing same issue all the ways. Only 98 Columns data is getting downloaded into Files (it might be .txt, .xls, etc.).
    After downloading first 98 Columns, I am hiding the downloaded columns and again I am downloading remaining columns. Then I am merging in the Excel file. This is very complicated for the End-User. So, please help me out.
    I have used only following methods for displaying ALV.
    For initial object/instance:

    For ALV functions:

  • ESS issue, local file button

    Hello Team,
    In a ESS report output, i try to download the output list to local file using 'Local file' button. The pop up box appears with 'unconverted', Excel etc. But if i click either OK , pop up box for java appears (attached). After that nothing happens either if i click OK or Cancel.
    32 bit java run time environment for Java 7 has been installed in the system.
    Can you please suggest what needs to be done. Thanks in advance.

    Using BrowserLab in DW 11.0 Build 4964, BrowserLab can't seem to work. Some not very intuitive places I have checked include making sure the signon credentials are in the CSLive window in DW.
    In preview local/browser, the following messages are disappointing me:
    Timed Out, Failed to Authenticate with Browserlab
    Session Expired, See Browser
    It is on a Mac, 10.6.7, using DW integrated testing. I can log into browserlab and put a public URL, but I don't think that's going to be much better for me than having VMWare and installing free browsers on Mac and Windows, and given the failures here that would be better for local file checks too. I write this because I wonder if I will be disappointed trying to get this to work and then find out I have to pay a yearly subscription to CSLive to be able to keep using it.
    This is on a private URL and I can send the page source, but I don't think its the page that is causing the issue.

    Able to preview page in any browser of my choosing
    Actual results:
    Spent the last two hours navigating help, googling possible solutions, getting many errors trying to navigate the Adobe help and forums, continually signing in on each adobe page I open. Expecting to have to reauthenticate to post this message. (Updated extension manager as well).

    First, there is no charge currently for using CSLive and there won't be any charge for another year.
    Second, based on what you're saying about the behavior you're seeing with BrowserLab and the issues you had with continually having to sign onto the Adobe pages, it's a strong indication that you've got cookies disabled in your browser or that something on your machine is deleting/expiring the cookies we are trying to set. What browser/version are you using and what kinds of permissions have you got set for cookies in that browser? Can you check that and change your cookie permissions for Adobe.com at least?

  • How to pass the local file name to the workflow in TC OAWD

    Hi everybody!
    I have to pass the local file name of the image as a parameter to a workflow in TC OAWD.
    By debugging I found the FM which starts the workflow -  'ARCHIV_PROCESS_FAXINPUT' . It has two importing parameters : FRONTENDPATH and BASICFILENAME, but they are not used by calling the FM.
    Do you have an idea if there is a DDIC table, which contains the local file name or another way to solve the issue.

    Not sure of what you want.
    Have a look at v$session view. Machine column is maybe what you're looking for.
    If you want to retrieve the local host executing remote desktop, it's actually not possible natievely, since it's still remote host that is connecting to the database.

    Running Version Cue CS3 3.1.0 with latest Bridge. (PowerMac G5 - OSX 10.4.11)
    Im running the VC server on my local machine. Intention is for only myself to use it for version control.
    I created a project, added my files... the standard local file path is ~/Documents/Version Cue/projectname
    2 issues, perhaps the same issue
    whenever i attempt to disconnect from the project... the local files are deleted...
    so, if i had set a custom path for my projects local files, VC immediately deletes the files, and next time trying to connect, the local file path is reset to the ~/Documents/Version Cue/projectname
    Is this how VC is supposed to function?
    Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance

  • Local files not playing on Windows 8

    If you've installed Windows 8 on your computer instead of the previous Windows 7, you may experience an issue where none of your local files will play.
    First try reinstalling Spotify, installing Quicktime, deleting all the Local files and unchecking everything in Preferences related to Local Files. Finally, make sure the files are a supported file format.

  • Downloading Report output to a Local File

    Hi,
    I want to download the my ALV Report output to a local file.
    I am following the menu options from ALV output:
      LIST --> Export --> Local File --> Unconverted Format  --> I entered a text file name on the desktop.
    The data is being downloaded to Local text file, but some columns are missing.
    I don't know what is the reason?  Can anybody tell what may be the reason?
    Has anybody come across this issue earlier?

    In previous versions of firefox ( 28 and Earlier ) I was able to follow local file links by whitelisting them in the user preferences file as shown here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Links_to_local_pages_do_not_work
    This functionality has ceased to work with the update.

    You might find a similar bug already posted, but if not, sure, others are going to have the issue.
    I guess one question is implementation. What mechanism is replacing capability preferences? If there isn't something that general purpose, what kind of site-level permission could be relevant?
    And if the need is not clear, what are the use cases for http:// to file:// access that the developers need to consider? Or is it for file:// to file:// access that's most critical?

  • File Permission issues on a windows server after updating

    But, I just updated Adobe InDesign and have a problem opening files on the network. This was not an issue until the upgrade.
    Strangely, it’s JUST InDesign, opening files on the network. Doesn’t happen to local files, other Adobe products, or the MacBook we have on site.
    JUST InDesign on the new iMac and opening files on the network.
    I’m stopped the first time and have to try it again. It seems to work every time on the second try.
    Any ideas please. I am stumped.

    I am having the same issues here. I am also having issues saving a new file onto a server. Along with packaging onto the server. Only started after this update. My coworker is having these same issues after updating as well.

  • Hyperlink to pdf on the local file system

    I'm using Oracle Reports 6i. I'm trying to set hyperlinks in my report through the pl/sql command srw.set_hyperlink to another pdf document.
    When I set the hyperlink to a URL, eg, http://localhost/document.pdf#dest, it works fine, the pdf opens in IE to the destination. Now when I specify the link to a file on the local file system, eg, file:///c|/document.pdf#dest, I get a file not found within IE. If I take out the destination, it works ok, that is, it opens up the document with IE.
    What am I doing wrong here? Is there a way to link a report to another pdf to a named destination within the local file system?

    This is more of IE - PDF issue I guess. Also this problem is seen more specifically for IE + File protocol + PDF
    Nothing related to the Reports PDF here. You can try by just referring a PDF section through file protocal in IE and you would see the same behaviour
