Local GP and ZCM delivered GP Interaction

Using our current imaging process we include a number of Group Policies on the base image. However, we continue to have instances where some Group Policies do not get applied. In some cases the GP in question is configured in both the local GP and the ZCM delivered GP. This wreaks havoc on some of our web based apps that need specific policies. I did some more looking and found this in the documentation:
If you apply Local Group policies on a managed device that has ZENworks Group policies
already applied, some of the settings might not work correctly.
Does this mean that we shouldn't configure local GPO at all and just rely totally on ZCM? This is a concern because it seems as if when there is ANY problem enforcing the ZCM delivered GP it will roll the device back to the policy in the Original Cache that it creates after the agent is installed. If we don't have any local GPs configured won't this cause the device to go back to an unconfigured state?

It's best to use one or the other.

Outlook 2007 sends local mail and non-spam to junk folder

I have exchange server 2003 on SBS with OWA and several outlook 2007 clients. Email often seems to be sent to the junk mail folder by outlook 2007, especially when it comes from the exchange server (either local pickup or MAPI). This is definitely being done by the outlook client, since it never happens when the client is not running (for example, if outlook is not running and I use OWA, local email is never delivered to the junk mail folder).
I turned off junk email filtering in outlook, and forced the local domain to the whitelist (outlook refuses to add it with the gui, saying it's my local domian, so I imported it from a file), and it still happens before and after.
Any ideas?

If it's a local machine, try setting the account to not use cached mode. That should force utilization of Exchange's rules.
1.       Go to Tools >Account Settings
2.       Highlight your Exchange Account and click “Change”
3.       Uncheck “Use cached Exchange Mode”
4.       Click Next and finish
Note, this will not work well on a laptop that leaves the building, as it requires a connection with the server to view mail content.

How to place local mp4 and ogg video in Muse?

I have been using Flash to create interactive training including FLV over the web. Now that FLV is dead on the web. I wanted to use Muse but my customer requires video clips to be on his business server. Muse appears to only support uTube like video? Is there a work around to play local mp4 and ogg video by adding HTML code into Muse?

I coded the HTML in Dreamweaver, Inserted it into Muse, Exported to HTML, FTPed to host.
At first it didn't play because I hadn't uploaded the media files. Once that was done - It seems to work.
Excuse the An animation at the top of page. I just used an existing Muse test page to test your idea.

SAP delivered Adobe Interactive Forms: how to identify in ERP6.0, CRM....

I am not an ABAPer, but I am trying to determine whether we need to develop an Adobe Interactice Form or leverage one delivered by SAP for following actions:
   o Return to work
   o Short term disability
   o Hire
I read the most important notes and FAQ and I didn't find a way to list all SAP delivered Adobe interactive forms.
I know from a colleague that SAP provides a Hiring SAP Adobe form (ISR_HRASR_SHI1) but I couldn't find it in SFP transactopm code nor in table TERPFORMLIST. This table I believe is mentioned In EhP4 release notes, however it doesn't provide a description of what a form is about.
Can you please provide the process or program or procedure to dump such a list of SAP delivered forms from ERP6.0, CRM, SRM, etc, where the list contains the Name of Adobe Interactive form, description of form, SW component, application compenent, and if possible any corresponding SMARTFORM...
Any help is much appreciated.

N96 - GPS local maps and voice guided navi for 3 m...

So after 3 months there is no local maps and voice ?
Why that ?

I have to disagree with you there.
The system is designed to suit all users, not just those that use the phone for navigation in the car. Plus many people won't use the phone for navigation but will use it as an interactive map book.
Also with all the new and upcoming location based services that nokia now offers it is very important to have up-to-date maps.
If we had to pay for map updates then many of the location based services wouldn't be accurate or worth using.
So for a phone based navigation program it makes much more sense to get free maps. Obviously they have to recoup the map costs from somewhere so they have to charge for the navigation feature.
For dedicated in car sat-nav systems such as tom toms then it makes sense for them to give you the navigation for free. They make their money by charging you for new maps and maps for other countries.
So in some ways nokia's system is better because you have maps of most of the world totally free. It's also the only system that could suit the majority.
At the end of the day no one is forcing you to use nokia maps either. If you don't like it then install a program like garmin XT. This program is like in car sat-navs where navigation is free but you pay for maps. A very expensive option if you travel to many countries.

To make things clear, here are two small examples that show how nasty locals and value properties can be to the naive programmer.
- Open the diagram of the race condition.vi before running it and try to predict what will be the values of the two counters after the third run.
- Use the Compare Locals Properties and Wires.vi to find out how slow locals and value properties can be (times 1000+).
This being demonstrated, I must add that I use globals and value properties quite often, because they are often very convenient

5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.

Configure Jabber for Mac with local CUCM and WebEx Connect

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has been able to configure the Jabber for Mac 8.6.2 client to use the WebEx Connect presence server with a local CUCM and Unity Connection servers. The preferences accounts tab does not show or allow the addition of the voice services. I have added from a working local CUCM preferences plist file what I believe are the correct entries however I still cannot see the accounts on the preferences tab. We currently do not have a local cisco presence server hence the requirement to trial the WebEx Connect server as I can't get past the first configuration step without it.

Hi - I have done this via the admin portal but still cannot get the Jabber client for Mac to register for voice. The Windows version works fine for the same user and CUCM device. Are there any other settings that need to be enabled specific to the Mac client?

I have recently purchased (from the States) an ipod nano 6th generation. I belong to a local library and can download books from the audiobooks online section. Problem is, my iPod when synced to iTunes, does not show Library as a category and audiobooks. For some reason, it is allowing me to download the books to my iPod, but I am unable to delete them from the iPod, and also, it is giving an echo (I think somehow it is downloading twice which is giving an echo effect). Not sure what is going on, but if anyone can advise me on this I would be very grateful.

If you have an issue with the audiobook showing up in music, check to see if those tracks are labeled as audio books or music. The article below will explained as well as I have highlighted the main portion for changing that information.

Difference between local amount and document amount in the same currency

Dear All,
Why different between local amount and document amount with the same currency in some FI document line items? Both currency is 'TWD' and update currecy(BSEG-PSWSL) is 'USD'.
What is the purpose of update currency(BSEG-PSWSL) and update amount(BSEG-PSWBT) ?
Does update curreny cause the difference mentioned above?

I need to file a complaint against local store and sales people. How?

I am a long time AT&T Customer. I had heard many good things about Verizon so I went to the local store and signed up as a new customer. I went in wanting a smartphone with 6 gb, unlimited text and minutes. The salesman told me he had a better option for me, I signed up on a 2 year contract with a Samsung 5 phone and he told me a separate device (hotspot) would serve me better. I repeatedly asked the cost and he told me $2.40 a month. I spent over 2+ hours in the store for this transaction.
When I got home and started going through what was sold to me I saw charges that I was not aware of. I had been told I would receive a form for a $50. rebate for the Samsung 5 which I wasn't given. I then received a bill for $251.00. I tried logging into my Verizon account and was told I was not the main account holder so I could not view my account. I was very frustrated at this point. I went back into the store to resolve all of these issues. Another 2 hours and I found out that my phone only had 1gb on it and the little box (hotspot) I had been sold had 5gb on it and I needed to carry it with me to be able to have access to data. I then found out that my account had been registered under the phone number for the hotspot - the salesman(the same one that sold me these items) worked on the store computer and said he fixed it, I then asked about the large bill that I received. He looked it up and told me that I had been charged for 6gb on my phone and 6 gb on the hotspot. I wanted to return the hotspot box and he told me I would be charged a $35.00 restocking fee. I am so frustrated with this salesman and this store. I went home and returned today to talk to the manager. She also told me the same thing.
I went into the Verizon store to sign up for new service, buy a new phone with 6 GB on it with unlimited text and minutes. That’s all. I do not want to carry a separate device around with me.
Now I have a device I have no use for, a bill for $251.00 4 days after I went into the store and I cannot access my account because I’m not the main person.

This brings up an interesting question. If Linjin was signing a 2 year contract on a Samsung 5 that has a hotspot why would the salesperson sell Linjin a seperate device? That would certainly depend on how Linjin explained how the device would be needed/used. I can certainly see where a separate device would be beneficial depending on the circumstances. For example, running the hotspot shortens the life of your phone's battery before it needs a recharge. If this is going to be a problem, a separate device would be beneficial. The battery life of a Samsung Galaxy S5 is not the most stellar and THAT could have been a consideration. I don't know, I wasn't there. Additionally the hotspot would be useless if you were on a call and not within a 4G signal. While voice/data can be used simultaneously on the Samsung Galaxy S5, I believe that is only when receiving a 4G signal. Again, I wasn't there and did not hear the requirements of the OP or how it was explained the device would be used.
I do not see where Linjin states it was a pre-paid device I never stated that Linjin had a prepaid device. I simply stated with how YOU wanted to use a jetpack, YOU described it as being able to suspend and not pay for service whenever you didn't need service. THAT is the description of a PRE-PAID JETPACK. My post made NO reference to Linjin at all, I was simply commenting that the way YOU were wanting to use a jetpack that a pre-paid jetpack was what YOU should have gotten.
If you reread the original post it basically taljks about what the customer was told by a Verizon Rep., How they were treated and was what they were told correct. I agree with that. Unfortunately, I was commenting on YOUR situation, not on the OP.

Not sure this will work but if you go into the Keyboard preferences, then click the Keyboad Shortcuts tab, and then the '+', you can add your own shortcuts for any application. I am not sure what happens if you try to override an existing shortcut since I haven't tried using this.
Edit/Update:
Probably against my better judgement I'll also throw this out there - there's an Unsanity haxie called Menumaster which might also allow you to do what you want. Against my better judgement because personally I stay clear of haxies. It's (all haxies) probably almost certain to break in Lion. They always do with each major release.

Pkgman - a bash script for local package and PKGBUILD management

here is a script which manages a local repository and lets you edit
PKGBUILDs and other related files, automatically generates checksums,
build packages, add them to your local repo and so on.
it also has AUR support for submitting tarballs, leaving comments, etc.

first of all copy the pkgman.conf and AUR.conf files from /usr/share/pkgman to ~/.config/pkgman/ or ${XDG_CONFIG_HOME}/pkgman - if ${XDG_CONFIG_HOME} is set,
edit these two files and then run
pkgman --runmefirst
pkgman doesn´t install anything. if you want it just builds the package and moves it to your local repository. install it then with pacman.
it also has no dependency handling. there are many other tools which provide this.
the main intention was to keep track of package versions, different PKGBUILD versions and own AUR submitted tarballs; also to keep a clean local repository and clean build directories.
pkgman is stable now. i´m using it for months without any issues.
however, if there are problems or feedback please post them here.

EDIT: errors resolved by correcting the path $HOME/apps/skripte/archscripts/pkgman/share/pkgman to /usr/share/pkgman in the pkgman itself.
