If you see error messages like this one when you try to start Netscape
Messaging Server:
19971009095543:Dispatch:Notification:Local Module (Account-Handler) is
not an executable or is a link.
Module not loaded.
Startup Problem:
Module Error-Handler is required for proper operation.
Netscape Messaging Server Exiting!
You may have a file permissions problem. This can happen if you change
the Unix account that Messaging Server runs as. Try changing the
permissions on the "bin" directory in your Netscape server root to make
sure that the current Messaging Server user account has access to it
(try granting public read and execute permissions to that directory);
this should solve the problem.

Can not start Messaging server in Sun Java System Messaging Server 6 2005Q1

Hi all,
I installed Sun Java System Messaging Server 6 2005Q1 from Solaris 10 DVD on Solaris 10.
After the installation, I got directory server, admin server running but messaging server not running. I can not start Messaging server (start smtp, http, pop, imap). I found in directory which I installed messaging server but I could not see script "start-msg" and "stop-msg".

Native VM not supported error when start WebLogic Server on Solaris

I created a weblogic domain and server using configuration wizard from workshop 8.1, the JVM is jdk142_05. When I start weblogic server, get follwing error: native VM not supported. The enviroment is
Solaris.
We used the same jdk started medrec example without problem. Any idea for the possible cause?

I believe this is the error you get when you try to start up a JVM with the commandline option '-native'.
Remove this flag from your startup script and retry.
By the way, it may be that you have the environment variable 'JAVA_OPTIONS' set to '-native' in which case:
(first confirm this is the case)
$ echo $JAVA_OPTIONS
-native
(Then edit the startup script if you get the result above)
add in a line:
# To remove '-native' flag
unset JAVA_OPTIONS
and retry.
I have to confess I don't know what the '-native' flag is actually supposed to do, but my JVM also reports back that this is unsupported.

Since I upgraded to the latest Firefox a few days ago I have not been able to access certain links. When I switch to Internet Explore those link work.

You should have signed in with that address in the first place, but there is a workaround: go to System preferences>Mail, Contacts@ Calendars and add your @me.com address as an account there.

Not able to connect to UCCX IVR when my Pub server is down

I Pub and Sub in my call Manager Group(CUCM 7.1) with my UCCX 7.0 , H.323 gateway is used for incoming and outgoing calls.
When my Pub is down the calls to the IVR keeps ringing and Agents are also not able to answer the calls, the calls land to the available agent . no prompt is played for the queue when agents are not available and call keeps ringing.
We have two incoming dial-peer configured on my H.323 gateway with preference command .

If i remove the dial-peer 9 when my Publisher server is down everthing starts working fine.
Could anyone help to find if the problem is with the gate or my UCCX server.

What you need to focus on here is your dial peer.
From your description it sounds more like the IOS gateway is sending calls to 192.168.6.31.
Try testing again and this time wait it out, i suspect your call will drop after 20 seconds of ringing.
You need to make the changes on the IOS gateway as the issue is not with the ccm/uccx.

Jcontrol.exe not starting - message server error

My jcontrol.exe is not staring and showing the status as "Some of the processes running" from long time. It is not coming to the status "Running". I had restarted, but still faces the same issue. But, here my message server settings are correct, i did not changes those.

Web calendar interfase not started when starting http server

Hi, I installed CS succesfully, the calendar server is working fine.
My problem is that the web interfase is not started when starting the HTTP server.
I checked the log files of the http server and I saw this:

You will have to report this problem to the Oracle Support organization.
They will most probably want to see your web configuration file, the httpd.conf, as well as the appropriate logs.

Module Processor not getting executed

Hi All,
I hav created a module processor in the same way as it is mentioned in the pdf

But to my surprise, it is not working.I hav even enclosed the code that is displayed in the work bench showing whether the Module Processor is called or not.But while executing, nothing is displayed.Please help me out in this regard.

Just check the following ,
1.The JNDI name that you have given.
2.The order in which u have written the modules...that matters a lot.
3. The server in which you have deployed the bean

Not able to get the error code when the client ,server running in Diff JVM

My server code is running on websphere App server . My client is running on different JVM on my machine .
When I try to throw my own exception , I am not getting any data in the exception object.
I am setting error code and msg in the exception object.
But when i retrive from my client , it is returning the null.

Please run ipconfig /all command on this problematic computer, and then post the screenshot here.
In addition, update your network adapter, disable the firewall and anti-virus temporarily and then run these commands:
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset

Getting an error message talking about not initializing the application's security component when starting up

i get a message every time i start up firefox saying "Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features."

Application module is not connected to a database

Using JDev 11.1.1.3
I have an application that uses EJB and i have an application that uses business components. The EJB app needs to integrate some parts from the BC application so i package the BC model in a jar file and use it in my EJB to create some records.
This is some code that i execute in my EJB to create a new record using the BC jar:

am.getTransaction().commit();The weird behavior of this is that the first time i call this code, everything is working just fine. Both the bill and billLine are created in the database. No error shows up in the console.
When i try to do the exact same in the same session, i get the "Application module is not connected to a databas" error. When i open a new session, everything is working fine again.
I also tried using the am.getDBTransaction().commit(); instead of the getTransaction.
Can anybody tell me what could cause this kind of behavior? Am i doing something wrong?

Sorry, just a typo. I modified the classes/package for this post.
I also did some more testing and it appears to be EJB related. The code i provided above is called from an EJB. When I execute the code from a managed bean, i don't get this error when i execute it a second time.
Maybe also useful info. My application module uses a JNDI data source that is configured on the weblogic server.

Local Module (Error-Handler) Failed the verify environment test

When attempting to start the Messaging Server, the following error
message occurs and the server fails to start:

19980226114147:Dispatch:Notification:Local Module (Error-Handler) Failed
the verify environment test.
 Module not Loaded.
 Startup Problem:
 Module Error-Handler is required for proper operation.
 Netscape Messaging Server Exiting!

This problem can be caused by a corruption to the configuration file
for the admin server that controls the Messaging server
(install_dir/admin-serv/ns-admin.conf).
Specifically, if the
Port setting is missing, the above-mentioned error will occur.

Add a valid Port setting to the
ns-admin.conf file and
rerun the /etc/NscpMail start command.
