missing all local program in my area anyone have any info? did live chat but that kid was useless

Where are you located? We lost ours too and its not just local channels that are missing. The few channels that do exist are not the channel numbers they were yesterday and the guide starts with channel 11 which shows QVC which is channel 6 where I live. I can't even tune to most of them. All I know is that there is an outage but HOW widespread is this? I have never seen anything like this in all my years with Comcast. I live in Northern Virginia. This is really strange. Website says will be fixed by 2:20 AM today...well NOT. Recording on the phone said 24 hours....OMG. Still can't access forums with Firefox and its been a week. I know they are working on it but goodness gracious. Had to bring up IE to get in here to see whats up with the channels.

Short Dump...Bottleneck pushed it out of the local program buffer

We have had a dump in production. The message is:
While the program was running, the program "SAPLV07A" had to be reloaded because a bottleneck pushed it out of the local program buffer. However, the database was found to contain an already changed program.
The termination occurred in line 87 of the source code of the (Include) program "FV45PFAP_XVBAP_UPDATE_EINTEILU" of the source code of program "FV45PFAP_XVBAP_UPDATE_EINTEILU" (when calling the editor 870).
It has ocurred while the user was executing VA03.
Im not sure but i think it is only a circumstancial error.
Do u know that is happened?

Well - it could be that a transport was imported while the transaction was running.
What happens when the same user re-executes the same transaction?

Can't run iTunes, Apple Application Support program missing. It's a brand new computer, never had iTunes installed. I've attempted 16 installs, each time uninstalling the previous install and verifying no Apple software installed before trying again; I've also been using different browsers, still no luck. Windows 7, 64 bit.

Try downloading 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and unpack the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe file into its components then try installing them individually in alphabetical order (don't try to install SetupAdmin.exe or iCloud.msi). AAS might not install right now, but you may get a more useful error message as to why not, or it might install once the other components have been installed.

Call a local program in Java class on Win

I'm now working on a Java project. It is needed to call a local program in Java class.
Following is the local program's source code:

} I build this simlpe C program to a exe file named TEST.EXE
Then, I called the exe in my java class which was like following:

In fact, my project is to encrypt/decrypt by Gnu PG.
I need to execute a gpg command like following
gpg -r Luna --encrypt test.txt
I could execute this command line in CMD normaly:

This make me have to invoke this command in Java class like following(in my understanding):

In fact the problem was the sales organization, this was the place where the Local Currency was missing.
SAP Note 1294039 - Longtext missing local currency

Yes.
I already reverted all deletions. But it seems to me that the studio didn't revert correctly. I deleted 2 applications inside a wd component. After revert, the studio just recreated the folder but not the file with .wdapplication extension. But i'm not sure if this is really the problem.
Do you know if there is any log file which file the studio is missing? That kind of troublemanagement is really no fun at all. There has to be a log file just like the build log files, right?
I mean, a can't believe that there is none.

Local Workbooks Missing under Favorites

Hi BW Gurus
We have upgraded to NW2004S SP12 and found old workbooks(local) are missing (under favorites) even after activating Personalization in BEX (SPRO).
The workbook tables has all the local workbooks in the corresponding tables(RSRWBINDEX,RSRWBSTORE) but it is not displaying when you click on Favorites in the BEx for WORKBOOKs.
I never faced this issue with SP7 & SP9.
I really appreciate if someone can share their knowledge or solution.

I looked in to the table and these are my findings.
SMEN_BUFF has zero records
SMEN_BUFFI has 15 records
SMEN_BUFFC has >400 records.
The userid who complained about missing workbooks has couple of entries in
SMEN_BUFFI & SMENBUFFC tables.
Can you please explain me what are these tables ? and what should i look for ?.

ABAP program missing in development system

Hi,
An ABAP Program is missing in development system. But is available in Quality and production system.
Not sure if it is deleted from development system. Can anyone please tell me what are the ways to find the missing/deleted program. How to find if it is missing or deleted?

Hi,
If it is developed and deleted then you can create the report with the same name which you looking for.
Then from the Version Management you get the latest version which was transported from the Development.
Even after deleting the report from the development the versions are still exits in the system. If you have create the report with same name then you find the version in the version management then it is deleted in the development.

Building an application that does not use any local program files or libraries

I need to build an application that will not use any local libraries or LabView program files(even if LabView is installed on the PC). I also am curious if anyone knows if there is a way to debug such an application(in it's compiled state).
Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated.

I am unclear on what you are trying to accomplish here. As the previous poster mentioned, if you enable debugging when building your application, you can remotely connect and probe the block diagram of the running executable. Executables use the run-time engine but could also access drivers or other run-times if using a specialized toolkit/module. This all depends on your application.

Local Cache Misses increases latency.

Our data set contains data that may be null (does not exist for a given key).
When we call get(key) in the local cache, as the value is null, we seem to incur a network hop to the cluster to attempt to get the value (although this is null). It seems to do this subsequent gets. Is there a way to configure a near cache to cache misses so we do not incur the additional network hop to the cluster? We have a latency sensitive application where this is causing issue.
We can think of two workarounds:
1 - Cache a NullObject which we process as null - so there is no actuall nulls.
2 - Extend the local cache class and we cache the misses and add a MapListener to listen for data updates to manage the cache misses.
Is there a built in coherence solution so we don't reinvent the wheel?

Let me explain the situation we have.
We want to achieve consistently low response time, regardless of whether there is a mapping for a given key in the cache.
We are using near cache with a size-limited local cache at the front and a remote cache (tcp-extend) at the back.
When the requested key does exist in the cache, it is fetched from the slow back cache on the first get() and cached in the fast front cache. Any subsequent requests for the same key will hit the fast front cache (unless the entry is evicted).
However, when the key does not exist in the cache, the near cache implementation always requests it from the back cache. As a result, for any cache miss we incur a penalty of a network roundtrip to the cluster.
I wonder if there's a ready to use implementation of a cache, which caches both hits and misses for fast subsequent look-ups. Ideally, this would be some sort of drop-in implementation, so that we simply reconfigure our cache schemas and don't need to touch the application code.
Of course, we can insert dummy entries to the cache on the server side, so that every key is always associated with a value (null value for the 'missing' key). But this seems to be wasteful in terms of memory, and also needs extra effort to maintain.
So although 'Cache NullObject' is an option - its not the preferred on - more in hoping that Coherence has seen this 'problem' before and has a in built solution.
