Ok, so i went to best buy to see if they could price match an item, i heard they will price match microcenter if there is one close to here and ther was. my item was a GTX 980 {removed per forum guidelines}
this card was on sale and it went by really fast and now there is none left, but i managed get a pdf of it with the price. {removed per forum guidelines}
the best buy employe told me that they cant price match it cause he could not find it online. but its there with no price, can anything be done about this?

Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

Check the iChat Menu > Preferences > Video Section > Bandwidth setting.
iChat needs to see a Minimum of 128kbps to do 1-1 chats in Video
For 3 and 4 way chats it needs 384kbps
Set the Bandwidth to 500kbps if it is set lower.
Also check the speed you are getting from your Internet supplier.

Store would not take back by broken studio beats cause the serial number and box didnt match

so i went to return my studio wireless beats today cause the right side volume was not working. the waterword lakes store manager would not take them cause the box and headphones serial numbers did not match and accused me and having more than one pair. These are the only beats i own and have ever owned they were bought online from best buy and box was sealed by my wife. so how would you ever know the serial numbers dont match? Open it in front of a best buy manager before you leave?? said for me to call beats myself. So $360 bucks down the drain? They were probably refurbed and boxed during black friday is my guess. not good best buy

I just came across the same issue! Tried to exchange a defective Studio model and the serial numbers did not match! How do know if Best Buy is not selling refurbished / fake headphones. I'm very disappointed with the service and quality of the headphones. I will be sure to let my friends and followers to avoid Best Buy / Beats. It's worth mentioning the fact that Steve - Assistant Manager seemed genuinely concern about that issue. Nice guy but he doesn't have the tools / authority to make a customer who spends thousands @ Best Buy whole. I don't mind taking my biz to Amazon

Check your Project Settings > General. Under Video Rendering and Playback > Renderer, is it set to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)?" If not, enable it, and then see if your performance improves.

Hi - thanks for your help and sorry not to have replied before - I've been away.
I use mainly Chrome but also tried IE8 just in case - no difference. However I finally remembered that when I had a similar problem downloading/installing OS4 for my iPhone (which crashed it and caused total lockup for about 4 days, resolved only after hours of calls to iPhone helpdesk) it turned out that the problem was caused by my home wi-fi connection. When I hard-wired the network connection the problem was solved. I tried it with iTunes - and it installed first time.
Don't know what would cause this problem, which as far as I can see affects only Apple software. Everything else seems to download and install over the wi-fi without glitches.

I just tried redeeming my software online. I went through the whole process, got the password, and proceeded to get the software to download. But soon after, the wifi connection was disconnected, and when I tried to connect the ethernet cable, the entire software had disappeared from my launchpad. When I tried to restart the download, it kept saying that the password had already been used before, and that it could only be used once per computer. What do I do now?

You shouldn't have to re-enter the code, Lion should be on your purchases list so you can re-download it. In the App Store, click Purchases... do you see ML there?

I have a MacBook pro 2011. For some reason i have ended up with 2 Apple ID's i must have forgotten something or i changed my account name from when i first set up the machine. Some apps allow me to upgrade with one but not the other. I have upgraded to Yosemite via a clean install at the Apple store. I have loaded back on my back up but iPhoto isn't there and it has asked me to upgrade via the App store. Unfortunately neither Apple ID's will let me upgrade.
The Message on screen is:
Upgrade unavailable with this Apple ID
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled
Do i head back to the Apple store and talk with them or is there something i can do at home?

I think you're confusing RAM memory with hard drive memory storage...the two aren't the same.
Although you're being told you need 2GB of RAM to run Mountain Lion....I would consider 4GB the minimum. You should be able to upgrade the RAM in your iMac to 4GB for well under $100.

IMac G5 won't boot. Attempted to install Leopard,wouldn't allow, then would not reboot in HD's Tiger, nor from OS DISK IN DRIVE. OPTION START shows both OS 's, but still won't boot from either. Grey screen , spinning pinwheel for 5 minutes, then shuts off

When I tried a custom leopard install(omitting all but canon printers), a window appeared that " I could not install OSX ON THIS DISK." I tried a full install again and a window appeared stating that " the HD was not formatted properly, would I like reformat in hfs extended HFS EXTENDED journalled and ERASE THE HD?" I use disk utility on leopard to reset the iMac to restart from the original Tiger OS on the HD, & that was when it refused to boot. During 1 attempt I even tried to boot with the C key held for many minutes to start fron the Tiger OS disk but the iMac wouldn't start the cd spinning. I did hear that familiar FIRMWARE UPDATE CHIME! but I was not upgrading firmware as none was downloaded, and Leopard did not tell me it required a firmware update first, when I attempted to install it. So: I get the chime when the power button is pressed. Option key finds the HD TIGER AND THE CD 's Tiger. I van choose both. But neither boots. Starting with the C key held doesn't boot. In every case the startup grey screen appears with the grey startup pinwheel, this continues for many minutes. Then it shuts itself off. Help help help. My son has Graduate School papers in progress, and I just fried his iMac. Thanks to all.

Thanks very much for the suggestions! I tried your method of booting to the install CD while holding option (alt), and then running Disk Utility to repair the disk and the permissions. Even though it still told me the drive didn't need repairing, there were more permissions that needed repairing when booting this way (as opposed to when booting while holding the C key.)
Anyhow, after doing this, my computer restarted just fine from the hard drive. Mail works now and I'm about to try repairing permissions one more time, then shutting down and restarting again, this time without doing it from the install CD. Wish me luck...
OK. It booted up perfectly this time. I'm not quite sure why that worked, though. Anyone care to illuminate me as to why booting while holding option (alt) let Disk Utility do what it needed to, while booting while holding C didn't?
At this point I'm just curious. My problem has been solved!

CRS, IOS-XR: local IGP route not installed in BGP table when learned from RR

Hello,
We use CRS routers in our IGP/BGP network core, some of which are acting as BGP originators and reflectors (RRs) for IPv4 unicast. We also use CRS routers as Internet PEs. The problem we have is between those PEs and the core routers.
Premise: each Internet PE is terminating customer cisrcuits and injects those downstream routes in IGP (via redistributing static, or just learned via IGP from a downstream router). The core (P) routers then learn those routes from the PE via the IGP. Two of the P-routers act as BGP originators and install the necessary routes in BGP using the network statement. These routes are mostly supernets (i.e. summarized), but some coincide with IGP routes, as learned from the PEs. The P-routers acting as RRs then reflect all iBGP routes to all IPv4 unicast BGP speakers in the network, including the Internet PEs (we also have BGP peers on those PEs, which is why this is necessary).
Problem: if a specific downstream route, learned on an Internet PE via IGP (i.e. from downstream), is then received by that PE from an RR via iBGP (i.e. from upstream), the route is not installed in the BGP table (the output of the show bgp x.x.x.x/xx command is: Network not in table)
Question: does anyone know why this is happening? This is concictent on all of our CRS PEs. As far as I am aware there is no BGP rule that would explain this behavior. We don't expect the PE to prefer the iBGP route over the IGP route, but that should not prevent it from learning it and installing it in the BGP table... The only discrepancy I could think of is that the IGP route has a next-hop pointing downstream, whereas the the same route, learned over iBGP has a next-hop pointing upstream. Then again,this shouldn't prevent the route to appear in the BGP table....

Because if the route is learned from downstream BGP drops any same path information learned from upstream
SPLIT-HORIZON only applies to distance-vector routing protocols. In case of BGP, it simply means that a prefix learned via a peer is not advertised back to that peer.
Split horizon will simply block out routes with the same neighbor as the next-hop for the router

I am afraid there is no solution.
PowerPC refers to the processing chip used by Apple before they transferred to Intel chips. They are very different, and applications written only for PPC Macs cannot work on a Mac running Lion.
You could contact the developers to see if they have an updated version in the pipeline.
