Local Web Authentication Started after Central Web Authentication

Hi everyone,
We have a DMZ based anchor WLC for a guest WLAN. I have this WLAN configured for central web authentication using ISE 1.2, this works correctly and can login using the guest portal.
However, after logging when browsing to a website everything is redirected to the local web authentication page and the policy manager state for the client goes in to a WEBAUTH_REQD state. I currently don't have any layer 3 security configured for this WLAN, so from my understanding it should just be using the central authentication provided by ISE.

Thanks - that looks very similar to ours, though I'm doing the 3850 via the CLI as the web UI keeps dying when I click into things.
I've realsed that I unticked the Authentication servers box instead of the Accounting as I miss-read the WLC page, however while the LWA no-longer kicks in, I'm unable to pass anything except DNS traffic. The Anchor says that the client is in "Webauth" state so it looks like it's expecting something, but ISE says it's all ok and I can see the 3850 traffic going through the process flow.
If I attach an AP to the WLC directly and have the accounting box ticked, then it all works exactly as I'd expect - this is just, well, odd....

Starting Local WebAS in debug Mode

Does anyone know how to startup the local web as in debug mode? It becomes rather tedious having to start it up then restart it again in debug mode.

Forbidden accessing sites on local web srver

After upgrading my mac os x tiger to leopard I always receive this message accessing my sites on local web server:
You don't have permission to access /~Vittore/sdpgvt/html/admin.php on this server.
The same problem creating a new site by iWeb.
Anyone can help me?

I had the same problem with the Personal Web Server.
If your issue was the same as mine it is because Apache has been upgraded from 1.3 to 2.2.

Apache2 local web server + Perl 5 + mysql problem

this problem has been bugging me for some months; it's stopping me developing on my new MBP.
I cannot connect to mysql 5.0.45 database when web sharing w/ Apache2 with either Perl 5.8 & Activeperl 5.10 cgi scripts on Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2 & 10.5.3
Although I can connect to the mysql DB when running the Perl scripts from the command line.
The problem only occurs on my local web server in Mac OS X 10.5.2 & 10.5.3.
On my old development Mac running 10.3 the code runs fine, as it also does on my remote site.
server error log: Can't locate DBD/mysql.pm . . .
I suspect there is a problem somewhere between Apache2, Perl & MySQL.
Please advise.

I've got the same problem but It sounds like I've gotten farther. I was forced to do an emergency move of some Perl and PHP sites to 10.5.4 when our 10.4 web server refused to authenticate to AD anymore...
Leopard's Apache/Perl support is terrible. There is not click to add option anymore so you have to manually set up mod_perl. No big deal but the first sign that there isn't reasonable support.
The bigger issue is that Apple's Perl will not compile some modules.. namely DBD::mysql.
Normally you'd use "cpan" to install the modules you need. The core module for connecting to a mysql database is DBD.. specifically DBD::mysql
You should be able to run "cpan" or "cpanp" [cpan plus] to get a cpan interactive prompt. At this point you should be able to compile DBD by issuing either of the following:
"install DBD::mysql" or
"install Module DBD::mysql"
I've tried this on two installs of OS X Server and that module (and others) will not compile on either system. One of my servers had been set up as a Wiki server before but the other had not been running any web services before I started using it as a test bed for my site move. (BTW these sites are unavailable until I can move them).
There is another bug (noted on mysql's site) with Apple's version of cpan. If you try to add some modules, cpan will report that it needs to install a new, full version of Perl. The recommendation is to not do this, but rather force the install.. "install f DBD::mysql"
Forcing the install is a questionable idea but it doesn't work anyway.
I eventually did install perl 5.0.10 on the system in /usr/ and that does allow me to compile the needed Perl mods. However, the global @INC path has the old Perl paths listed so my perl CGIs will not use the new perl install.
I'm sorry I don't have a solution. Hopefully my troubleshooting will elicit some more feedback.

Local Web Server No Longer Working In ML

Hello,
Previous to updating to Mountain Lion, I had my Imac set as a local web server and everything worked fine. After updating to ML, I no longer have local web server access. Also seems that my /etc/apache2/users/USERNAME.conf is gone? Do I need to reset all the files I configured prior to installing ML?

Wireless local radius authentication

Greetings,
I have a AIR-AP1121G-A-K9, and I would like to authenticate users with a username and password on the AP using the local radius server.

You could get a better idea of why the auth is being failed with the output of "show radius local-server statistics". You could also run "debug radius local-server client" and "debug radius local-server error".

Error 'no local web solution for html engine installed. operation failed'

Hi all
I am trying to install JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
I have done the installation in one machine according to this queue:
1) Installed the Oracle DB 11g
2) Installed the Enterprise and Database Server
3) Installed the Deployment Server and the installation finished successfully
But when i try to navigate to the EntepriseOne menu I have the following message:
"no local web solution for html engine installed. operation failed". Can you please suggest for any solution for this?
I also did not install the html web server yet. Is this mandatory? Is this error related with this?

During installation I didn't enter any port, so could you please tell me if there is any default port for this isntallation.
I red on the internet that port 6010 is the default port for EnterpriseOne so I entered the url: http://192.168.223.167:6010/jde/E1Menu.maf
where this(192.168.223.167) is the IP of my server but still the page did not open.
Do I have to start any service or something. Please help me to solve this issue.

Central Instance didn't start after Kernel Upgrade

I've made a Kernel Upgrade for a Solution Manager with kernel version: release 7.01, 64-Bit Unicode on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64 Edition.
When I wanted the SAP instance, Central Services instance started, but Central Instance didn't.

Can not access local web sites

Hi,
on my Mac Mini running Lion I cannot access any local web site
Normally, entering
http://localhost/~shortname/
would ad least show the index.html page located in the sites (Websites on German systems) folder, which I still can display w/o the webserver running by clicking on it)
However, I get the error message:
"you don't have permission to access /~shortname/ on this server"
This happens in Mountain Lion too, where I started the web server using the Web Sharing preference pane from

Any idea? I need this badly, because I am doing some little web dev

Sending e-mail from local web

Is there away to get local web site to send e-mail?

I google this and find the following solution which works beautifully:
OS-X Leopard comes pre-installed with a Postfix version. No need to install it via darwin ports or other such mess (actually uninstall it if you have previously manually installed it via ports or something similar). Postfix just needs to be enabled and following sequence of several easy steps explains how to do it:
sudo vi /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.postfix.master.plist
add following line before the closing </dict> tag:
<key>RunAtLoad</key> <true/> <key>KeepAlive</key> <true/>
Start service with
$ sudo launchctl
launchd% start org.postfix.master
You can also start simply with "sudo postfix start" but the above command will start via launch sequence and test the configuration you edited in the previous step.
Check that SMPT is running:
telnet localhost 25

Moving Local Web Dynpro project from Dev to Prod

i have a scenario where there is a small application to be developed. And m the only developer to work on it.
I need to a create local web dynpro project for the same and deploy it to the deveopment server. and test it here. However, the client for whom i am developing this service, is based somewhere else. How do i deploy this local application on his production server?
I dont have JDI architecture here. Can i achieve this without JDI? and How? Which is more feasible - using JDI or not in my case ?

Hi,
Genrally, it is recommended to work with JDI. But, as you said you have only project that needs to be deployed then you can change the server settings in your NWDS and make it point to the production server.

NOTE: You should have sdm password to deploy this applicaiton.

Local Radius Authentication - Fails

I am new to Wireless Lan configuration with Aironet products (first project). I am configuring an Access Point for a small LAN and i can not get local radius authentication working. The password always fails if I try:
test aaa group radius xxxxx port 1812 new-code
although the password is matching..........
another thing is that in the configuration, it always defaults to 'nthash' mode. is this normal? in other words if i type:
radius-server local
user dgarnett password xxxx
when i do a 'show run' it displays as

Just as an update.......I set this up authenticating to an external (ACSNT) Radius server and it authenticates successfully. But still will not for the local dbase. My goal is to use the Corporate ACS as primary and the local as backup. I think my problem has to do with the Radius attributes 24 (State) and 80 (Message Auth). I also think that it points back to the NTHash stuff. Please advise as I am not new security practices and wireless, but I am new to Cisco Wireless networking.

Java mysql OK with Terminal but not OK with Apache local web server

Nothing but "Applet TestMySQL not inited"
When I uncomment the try/catch lines (lines 1 to 7) , java compiler generate an error... near getClass().getClassLoader().loadClass("org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver");
With "Class.forName("org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver");" no problem.
Running MacOS X 10.3.9, Apache/1.3.33 (Darwin) PHP/4.4.1 mod_ssl/2.8.24 OpenSSL/0.9.7i and JVM 1.4.2_09

can you post the stack trace?
im not sure what is causing the error because of less info,
but have you tried to copy the driver of mysql to tomcat lib folder?

Accesso to Apache Local Web Server Problem

Hi, i have a problem related to the set up of Apache Local Web Server on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5.
I have correctly installed Apache (2.2.24) php (5.3.26) and MySql (5.5.22) but during the web access i get this message: 403 Forbidden and in the error_log i see this:
[Tue Nov 05 18:55:19 2013] [error] [client 10.202.145.171] client denied by server configuration: /Users/marcopuccetti/Sites/drupal-7.12
Before this i have modified the configuration of httpd.conf (DocumentRoot) file in order to point the Sites folder "Users/username/sites"; The same for users configuration file.
I have also enabled the Web Sharing properties in the System Preferences Section.
Have i to do any other settings?

Now it works, but i still don't understand why The directory "Sites" has to be named Only UpperCase.
