Localization of messaging/iwc error messages.

Hello,
I'm trying to localize mail system to ukrainian language. We were able to localize convergence, but not fully. When I'm trying to send a message to particular domains, in convergence I'm getting pop-up window with following contents:
SMTP Error 5.1.2 unknown host or domain
how can I change language of this error message? Should it be changes in convergence or messaging server?
In messaging log files I have:
10-Mar-2010 14:32:42.03 tcp_intranet JE 0 ........ * [10.41.0.21]) 550 5.1.2 unknown host or domain: [email protected] me it looks like error message "550 5.1.2 unknown host or domain" is passed from messaging to convergence.

RFE #6824549 - "SMTP error messages are not localized"

Sometimes USB external drive problems are resolved simply by plugging them into the mains power and trying again.

Conversion of Warning Message to Error Message Message Number 06152 in ME51

HI,
User has created the PR(ME51N) and Buyer has created the PO (ME21N) against this PR.
User are able to delet the line with following warning message.
*Purchase orders already exist for this item*
*Message no. 06152*
I have stried to change this warning message to error messge form following path
IMG-MM-Purchsing-Environment data------- But the message is not appearing in this table.
How can i change this warning message to error message ?

In the same IMG path (IMG->MM->Purchsing->Environment data->Define Attributes of System Messages), click 'New Entries' and enter the message with Message category 'E'.

Convert Warning message to error message in counter updation(Not for CTM)

Dear Experts
When counter reaading is enterd as previous counter reading then system,gives message of counter overflow,i want to change this message as error message inly ctm login will punch the measuring reading incase there is counter overflow.Please guide how to do this.
When i clicked on message follwoing pop is shown
The counter reading entered will lead to a counter overflow

This request is actually for Quality information record QI01 - where the setting for release date doesn't have any control over the procurement (while performing ME21N) - only warning message poping up
I have tried using the said option still the message doesnot changes to Error message,
I have checked in SPRO ->Quality management->QM in logistics->QM in procurement->Define control keys....all the keys checked ...still no change

How to convert Warning Message to Error Message in Benefits Enrollment Annual Enrollment Screen.
Warning Message: No beneficiaries selected for plan XXXX.
As per my requriement, there is one warning message which is popping up when all the plans total donot count to 100 %. At that time we need to show a Error message instead of Warning Message. Now warning message is displayed.
Reason: Insurance plans require error message when beneficiaries donot total to 100%
My question is in which message class or in which Table these messages are maintained and how to modify it.

which badi you are using?
You cant use all methods to raise a error message
for example
Error_table of the method CHECK_DEPENDENTS of user exit PBEN0032 should
olny be used to raise configuration errors. Please use
CONSISTENCY_ERRORS to display any error message[move the content of
error_table to consistency_errors and clear the error_table inside the
method CHECK_DEPENDENTS].

User create a purchase requisition and a purchase order is generated from it. Afterwards, you change the purchase requisition by setting the deletion indicator. The system generates a warning message that a purchase order already exists for this purchase requisition. However, the deletion of such a purchase requisition should be prevented. Therefore, the system should generate the warning message 06152.
I followed the below path
SPRO/MM/Purchasing/Environment Data/Define Attributes of System Messages
select System messages
*I did not find the Message number 152*
Help me out to fix this issue

go to "New entries" enter application as 06 and at message no filed, click F4. you will find the required message
I tried to change the Purchase Requisition for which Purchase order Is created ,system will not allow to delete
The message is shown in yellow but not in red ( purchase orders already exist )
Can you help me show the ERROR message in red

Email attachment not included in forwarded message - no error message given

A coworker of mine was trying to forward a large 25.6MB pdf over the AT&T network. She downloaded entire message before hitting forward and selected "include attachments" when given the option. She could see the icon for the attachment at the bottom of the forwarded message, but the recipient doesn't receive the attachment and it is not reflected in the sent email. There is no warning or error message given. She could forward this from her desktop account, so it doesn't seem to be a server based limit on attachments..
This is an exchange server email account and an iphone 5.
Any ideas?

I too am experiencing this behavior, however, for some reason that I do not know, the attachments appear ok one day and then they appear embedded. This is becoming detrimental to my work!
Is anyone looking into this at Apple?

I have followed the below troubleshooting steps but still getting the same error.

Due to some Good Manufacturing Practices in the Pharmaceutical Industry, users are demanding that message i102(40) (SAPLCOSD / LCOSDF2D / FORM OrderTables_Fill line 478) a hardcoded info message be converted into an error message.
I have struggled all day long on the PPCO exits, but it was not possible to find one that comes prior to this message, so I could prevent the error.
I then tried to create a field exit on field CAUFVD-GSTRP, but it was not possible to create a field exit for this field (it was not present at PRFB).
Is there any other way of changing it without changing the standard code (even though it's just one caracter from i102(40) to e102(40).

Hello.
There is a solution which we used in one of our requirement.
To replace standard sap code, in ECC 6 SAP provided Enhancement Sections.
Step 1: Give program name and from and to line numbers in which you need to create a Enhancement section. Give this details to BASIS. They will provide you access key.
Step 2: Create a Enhancement Section for this portion of code.
Step 3: Create implementation for this enhancement section.
You can't create multiple implementations for enhancement section.
Activate it and now your new code will be executed.

It appears that there is some configuration you can do for BOM Message types to change the message type. The IMG link for this function is:
Production->Basic Data->Bill of Material->General Data->Change Message Type
However you need to read the IMG documentation to see if this will work for you. There are only certain messages that can be changed with this configuration step.

Information message to Error Message -HCM standard Leave Workflow

Hi ,
I am configuring leave management for a demo purpose.
The leave application workflow used is ws20000081.
There are few scenarios configured in system for not allowing leave applications for the employees .
Example:-paternity leave u2013 maximum days which employee can apply through one application is 3 working days
This validation is working fine as we directly using IT2001 application through tcode- PA30 .more than 3 days it giving an error message.
But issue is
When we are applying the leave through ws20000081, system is allowing more than 3 working days and allows a successful application. Then its allows a successful approval for employer. After approval system fails to update the data in system and forward the application to administrator where as in ideally system should not be allowing the employee for a successful application.
When we are applying the leave through ws20000081 and clicking on the u201Cchecku201D button system is giving the actual error message as an INFORMATION MESSAGE.
As it is an information message on ws20000081 application page, system is allowing successful application.
How can I change this information message as an error message u2013any STANDARD settings apart from taking the access key and change it (similar behavior as application as PA30)?

The validation can be even done prior to the workflow called. You may have to implement the BADI BADI - PT_GEN_REQ and inside the using the class - method IF_EX_PT_GEN_REQ~CHECK_IF_ACTOR_ABSENT can be used for the validation of this 3 days and generate an error message to portal.
