Localized for the Langauge?

I have installed the latest version of iTunes.  When I go to run the program this comes up : "This Version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for the language.  Please run the English version."  It doesn't even let me open the program.  How do I fix this?

    I work on an ATG deployment has Internal users accessing a server located in Washington from all over the world. The users want to see all timestamps presented in their timezone (10/18/2011 09:30 Pacific Daylight Time is 10/19/2011 12:30 China Standard Time) not the timezone of the server. How can I get this effect in the BCC?

    I do not see that form in the page source, so it looks that it the login form gets created via JavaScript and the Firefox Password Manager doesn't work in such cases. Form fill may store the name.

    Hi there Scottielongdrive,
    You may want to try removing and reinstalling iTunes as an initial troubleshooting step. Take a look at the article below for more information.

  • Solution to get the locale of the browser

    I believe that other people will have the same problem as mine.
    So I'll post the solution to get the browser's locale.
    First:
    / / Get the full URL
    var test: String = ExternalInterface.call (window.location.toString ");
    Second:
    if (teste.indexOf ("locale = pt")!=- 1) (
        return 'pt_BR';
    ) Else if (teste.indexOf ("locale = en")!=- 1) (
        return 'en_US;
    That is all
    Good weekend to all

    Depends a lot exactly what locale you need.
    window.location is good if you pass a locale as part of the URL. But that is not the browser locale (although it might come from the browser if someone got it from the browser there at some point and added it to the URL)
    The locale that is most locale for the user is the one that he specified in the browser preferences
    (http://www.w3.org/International/questions/qa-lang-priorities)
    That info is part of the HTTP request header (HTTP Accept-Language).
    And that is only accessible server side. So you will need something that runs server side (JSP, ASP, PHP, CGI, whatever) and to return it somehow (for instance somewere in the html page).
    Here is a quick reference on how to do that: http://www.developershome.com/wap/detection/detection.asp?page=readHeader

  • How to select a locale for parser error messages

    Does anybody know how I can select a locale for parser error messages? I found org.xml.sax.Parser.setLocale, but that's for SAX1 and deprecated.
    I have a textarea in the user interface where a user can edit XML and, of course, I'd like the parsing error messages to appear in the selected locale...
    Any help appreciated.
    - Michael

    Yes, but doing this you changed the locale for the JVM! I know that. My intention was to see whether the parsers even had error messages in languages other than English. If they didn't then there would be no point in proceeding. But they do, so maybe there is some point.
    However you don't get to specify the locale for exceptions thrown by other Java classes, so I wouldn't be surprised to find you don't get to specify the locale for exceptions thrown by XML parsers. I'm not saying there is no way to do that, only that I would not be surprised if there were no way.

  • How do I use multiple local workspaces for the same website in VS2013?

    For quite some time I've been using VS2010 with multiple workspaces mapped from the same TFS branch to test different variants of a website in parallel. The internal web server (Cassini) seems quite happy to run multiple versions and simply maps a new port
    number for the second and subsequent instances that start up.
    We are now looking to move to VS2013, so have to use IISExpress since the 'internal' web server is no longer provided.
    How do I configure things so that if I open a single workspace, IISExpress runs against that workspace using the default port number (specified in the solution), but if I open a second instance in a different workspace it correctly uses a new port number
    and working folder. Do I need to invoke IISExpress using the command line (presumably from each workspace) and specify the relevant defaults or is there some way to enter this in the local config file for IISExpress?
    My initial attempt at editing to config file resulted in the 2nd and subsequent instance using the same physicalfolder as the first instance, presumably because the speficied site name and port number are the same!

  • How to use the same services-config for the local and remote servers.

    My flex project works fine using the below but when I upload my flash file to the server I doesn't work, all the relative paths and files are the same execpt the remote one is a linux server.

    You are confusing "served from a web-server" with "compiled on a web-server". Served from a web-server means you are downloading a file from the web-server, it does not necessarily mean that the files has been generated / compiled on the server.
    The server.name and server.port tokens are replaced at runtime (ie. on the client when the swf has been downloaded and is running) not compile time (ie. while mxmlc / ant / wet-tier compiler is running). You do not need to compile on the server to take advantage of this.
    Hi Paul,
    In Flex, there is feature that lets developer to put all service-config.xml file configuration information into swf file. with
    -services=path/to/services-config.xml
    IF
    services-config.xml
    have tokens in it and user have not specified additional
    -context-root
    and this swf file is not served from web-app-server (like tomcat for example) than it will not work,
    Flash player have no possible way to replace token values of service-config.xml file durring runtime if that service-config.xml file have been baked into swf file during compilation,
    for example during development you can launch your swf file from your browser with file// protocol and still be able to access blazeDS services if
    -services=path/to/services-config.xml
    have been specified durring compilation.
    I dont know any better way to exmplain this, but in summary there is two places that you can tell swf  about service confogiration,
    1) pass -services=path/to/services-config.xml  parameter to compiler this way you tell swf file up front about all that good stuff,
    or 2) you put that file on the webserver( in this case, yes you should have replacement tokens in that file) and they will be repaced at runtime .

  • Is there a way to lock the location of where iTunes is looking for music regardless of the itl file.  I am loading a remote itl file by default ever time but then it's looking for the music on a local drive instead of a network drive.

    So I have a number of PC's in the house that are dumping music into a central PC with a network shared drive.
    The music is dumped into the "automatically added to library" folder on the remote PC.  Itunes is always running in the background.
    When I open iTunes on my local PC a script retrieves the newest ITL file from the remote PC, then the script opens iTunes using the updated ITL file.
    This way I have a fresh copy of the remote library music every time.  The problem is the music location under advanced settings.  I can change it every time but I would like to make this as automatic as possible.  The question I guess is if there is a way to lock the music location or have it change via a script every time iTunes opens.

    You can't change the location of the media folder from a script, neither can you change which library file is opened. I assume your script simply copies the current master library into the normal location for the file on each client machine. Do you not get a file locked error? What about the other library files and the Album Artwork cache?
    Your scheme may work best if you use a common drive letter for your media folder and have it so the media folder is not inside the master library folder. E.g.
    Master library folder at X:\iTunes
    Master media folder at X:\iTunes Media
    Where all the computers see drive X: as the same object, be it the whole of that drive or a shared folder on it.
    If you have the typical arrangement (iTunes Media inside iTunes) then when you copy the library from X:\iTunes into C:\....\iTunes and start iTunes it will attempt to "correct" for the fact that you've apparently moved the library and reset the library folder to C:\....\iTunes\iTunes Media. It should still be able to find the media at the correct location, but if you accidentally load anything up from a client machine it will end up in a local folder.
    If you are not already familiar with it iTunes Folder Watch will be a useful tool for catching up with any additions made on the client computers. You should probably also ensure that each of the clients has the "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" option disabled.

    My iTunes will no longer download.
    All of a sudden I get the message "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version".
    How do I fix this and run the English version again? .

    Start by trying to repair iTunes from the programs and features control panel.
    Otherwise, for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. I did a system restore, trying to get rid of the new update (which I HATE), and now when I try to open iTunes, I get an error message telling me that "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language.  Please run the English version."  You can't change the language option unless you can open iTunes - and IT WON'T OPEN!!!  What a piece of crap!  If there existed an iTunes substitute, I would purchase it in a hot minute!

    Strip it out and start again.

  • COREid Federation Error: A local user session could not be created for the

    Hi,
    I installed two instances of COREid Federation in my machine. Also installed SiteMinder and LDAP. Source Domain of COREid (8101) uses LDAP as IdMBridge and Destination Domain (9101) uses SiteMinder as IdMBridge. I am trying to access the resource protected by the SiteMinder from the source domain using the URL which is constructed using the pattern given in the PDF:
    http://mymachine.domain.com:8101/shareid/saml/ObSAMLTransferService?DOMAIN=DestinationDomain&method=POST&TARGET=http://mymachine.domain.com:8887/Source/Source.html
    Assertions are generated and I can see the assertion in the Source domain and transferred to the Destination Domain.
    I get the following error in the Destination Domain Shareid Log file:
    ERROR - [http10113-Processor3] - RECEIVER: ERROR: A local user session could not be created for the assertion
    Please help me to solve this issue?
    Note: The Web agent runs on the web server instance 8887.
    SiteMinder is able to protect the resource when accessed.

    Typically that error occurs when the destinations access management system can't find the user based on the SAML attribute. Check to make sure that the attribute that you are matching on matches exactly.

  • SHAREid - A local user session could not be created for the assertion

    Problem: We have a client trying to federate to our environment using POST profile but we are getting the following error, "RECEIVER: ERROR: A local user session could not be created for the assertion".
    I verified that the user exist in the directory and I am able to execute a test successfully as that user.
    Thanks.

    There is a requirement that the client needs to send an attribute called "traveler" in the assertion. We found out that the problem occurs only when client sends a attribute in the assertion. When the assertion does not include the attribute, there is no issue. Not sure why that is the case as we have other clients sending the same attribute in the assertion.
    Here is the AttributeStatement.
    <saml:AttributeStatement xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><saml:Subject><saml:NameIdentifier Format="urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:unspecified">XXXXXX</saml:NameIdentifier></saml:Subject><saml:Attribute AttributeName="XXXID" AttributeNamespace="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/claims"><saml:AttributeValue>XXXXX</saml:AttributeValue></saml:Attribute></saml:AttributeStatement>
    It does not have <saml:SubjectConfirmation> and <ConfirmationMethod> element. Can that be a problem?
    Thanks,
