Locating the Captivate 4 patch for build #1658

Hi all, I have Captivate 4, build #1596. When recording audio directly into Captivate, it sounds extremely tinny, and very low quality. We do not have the option to record in another system and import due to beaucracies, so we are forced to do it this way. After researching, it looks like there was a patch that came out to correct the audio quality, however, all the links I find are no longer active, as it is a pretty old patch. Why we don't have it already, i don't know. We do not even have the "updates" option available under Help. Does anyone know where to locate the patch to download?

and its mentioned in the readme.html as well.
But for this one off patch, there isn't anything mentioned in the readme.html.
All it says is

The patch can always be installed in 2 ways.
1. Do a cd and then run opatch
cd <patchlocation>
opatch apply
2. Else specify the patch location as an argument
opatch apply <full path to the patch i.e the one you do cd above> ...
Both the above styles yield same result.

Can you provide more information on your jws ? Also can you start the server
from the command line with verbose option. This will cause
weblogic_debug.log to be generated in the domain folder.

When you select "new" "My Templates" should be at the bottom of the Sidebar.
The second line is in your bio and appears when asking a question. You can change it by clicking on bunnygrl to open your Bio to edit.

How do you install the JDBC-OCI patch for a Windows NT4 IFS Installation?

I am about to install IFS on a Windows NT4 Server. I dont understand the instructions for installing the JDBC-OCI patch.
How do you install the JDBC-OCI drivers?
Do I install them after installing Oracle 8.1.6? and before installing IFS?
Is it necessary to install them?
I would be grateful for as much help as possible, I have never done anything like this before.

How/when do we get the Captivate 8 upgrade for our volume license with Adobe Software Assurance?

We bought Captivate 6 as a volume license with a two-year ASA maintenance and support agreement, which is supposed to include all patches and upgrades. That already got us upgraded from Captivate 6 to 7. However, we've had no similar message regarding the upgrade to Captivate 8. As suggested in another discussion, I tried downloading the Cap 8 trial and using our Cap 7 serial number, but it was not accepted.
Hints, suggestions, prophecies, authoritative Adobe statements all welcome. Thanks in advance.

Not able to find the required upgrade patch for 10.2.0.2

I am trying to upgrade my database from 10.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2, for which first i need to upgrade it to 10.2.0.2. But am not able to find the same in the support.oracle.com , please advice.

5.6.3 is the major version, but you can patch up to get the latest functionality, e.g. 7352374 for bursting.
Search on BI Publisher in Patches on MOS.

My itunes can not locate the "back-up" files for my Music help!!! please

please someone help me... my itunes says that 900 of my purchased music songs could not be located... they say that the backup files could not be found..... i have looked throughout my computer and no where to be seen...........majority were purchased and some form cds. there was also movies and tv shows that arent showing up... what can i do to get these problems sorted out?

Sorry but I don't have an answer for you. However, I've been exp similar problems. I noticed that all songs that have listened to on my Ipod can no longer be located in Itunes. There is an exclamation mark next to the song and when I double click it, the error message reads "unable to locate file, would you like to locate". Lucky for me, I remember how I saved my music. However, this is a pain in the tushy to go through this everytime. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where can I locate the folder with drivers for my CanoScan 8600F scanner

This is a cross post - someone else had a similar problem but none of the answers work
I have a similar problem. My CanoScan 8600F works on my iBook running Leopard but on the iMac I get the message driver not found. I have talked with Canon, Mac Support and a friend who was a Mac Tech at one time. I have reinstalled the scanner. I have gone to the Canon site to download the latest drivers. And I have copied one of the folders from my laptop to the iMac but it apparently doesn't have the drivers. Main question I have now is where on the iMac are the drivers located?
ScanGear has a place to choose a source but the source given is only my HP All in One. I was told to uninstall that on my iMac which I did but the source still doesn't give my Canon scanner. I probably have screwed up many other things trying to get rid of other items - Canon told me to get rid of Epson scanner info (I don't use an Epson so I did that) No matter what I have tried I cannot get the scanner to work with my iBook! At this point, worst case is to use the iBook to scan and then transfer the scanned files to my desktop. A bit humbug, that!

The problem was with the cano-scan toolbox which I never got working right. But I also have Canon Image Capture and scanner works fine from that program.

How do I make a backup of the Layouts folder for Captivate 7 Patch?

I am trying to follow the instructions for the Captivate 7 patch, but I am not sure how to create a back-up of the Layouts folder as the instructions state to do. Additionally, they say to make the backup "and delete it". They mean to delete the original file and keep the backup file that I create, correct?
Important: Before using Adobe Captivate 7.0.1, ensure that you take a backup of the Layouts folder and delete it.
Layouts folder are present at :
Windows Location: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Adobe\eLearning Assets\
I was able to find this folder, I just need some help in creating the backup...sorry, i am not the most computer savvy person

You just need to copy it to a different folder or rename it as, say Layouts_old.

Hi All,
Is it mandatory to be in the latest PeopleTools patch for the next PeopleTools only upgrade?
For eaxmple, I am in PT5.0 and I plan to upgarde to PT51. IS it mandatory to apply the latest patch(PT 8.50.14 Product Patch) before the PeopleTool upgrade?
