Locating the PAR for BOE XI 3.0

Hi:
I've been assigned the task of planning and implementing our migration from BO 6.5 to BOE XI 3.0. We have a large installation and I'm relying totally on the documentation and guides available. Each document from the Deployment Planning Guide to the Migration Guide to the Installation Guide say to check the "Supported Platforms Report (PAR) located at http://support.businessobjects.com/documenation/supported_platforms" fro the system requirements - As everyone in this forum knows that site no longer exists - Can someone PLEASE point to this document for BOE XI 3.0 before my head explodes!!??? Thank you so much

A friend has determined we need version ios 4.2 to run a new printer for an iPad 1. Documentation indicates to use iTines to download but we can not locate the software download.

Apple does not offer old versions of iOS. Only the most recent version, iOS 5 is available through iTunes.

After you have downloaded the file connect your iPad to your computer and open the iTunes app on the computer. Select your iPad in the Devices list and right click over the Update button. Browse to where the file has been downloaded to your computer and select it. Hopefully iTunes can verify this upgrade for your iPad and install it for you.

Where can I find the PAR for Data Services 3.1?

I think DS 3.1 is already in RTM but couldn't find the PAR on the service marketplace. There is only one for version 3.0. I need this document to confirm that DS 3.1 doesn't support HPUX PA-RISC any more. My customer is still using DI 11.5.3 on PA-RISC which means they don't have a migration path - they know 11.7.3.0 limited version still supports it but won't take the risk of upgrading to a unsupported version.

If you are on system 9 on windows then for planning you will probably have to make a registry change.
Open the registry editor and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hyperion Solutions\HyperionPlanning\HyS9Planning
Modify SysOutFile and provide a path that exists. For e.g. E:\hyperion\logs\Planning\Sysout_plan.log
Restart planning, planning should know write to that log.

I have a group and it works, but unable to locate the group for edits.

The addresses that I originally set up in the group are saved in the group since by entering the group name in the address field all the addresses are entered into the mail. Problem is that I cannot find the group for editing purposes. I thought the way was to go to contacts on the left and find the group there....no such group listed.

Since there is no such thing as Groups in Thunderbird I will assume you are looking for a Mailing List that you created in one of your Address Books.
When you open the Address Book window do you have the Directory Pane showing?
If not turn it on by going to the menu bar and selecting View-Layout-Directory Pane
Any address book that has a Mailing List in it will either be showing the list as a sub-folder or have a small pointer beside the address book folder. If the sub-folder tree is not showing click the pointer to expand the view.
Then again since you are using terms like Contacts and Groups are you even talking about Thunderbird email client?

I am trying to reset the Security Questions as I have forgotten them, when I have logged into My Apple Id, and click on the button to reset the Security Questions, it states it is sending an email to the Primary Email address. I do not have the option to input a Rescue Email address, the only option I have is to input an Alternate Email address, which I have done so.
Also when I have tried to book an appointment throuth Online Support, I have not successful, I have rung a telephone number provided by the Mac Store in Perth, Australia and the reply provided is that we are closed. I was given to understand that Apple provided 24/7 Support to their users.

Unable to locate the xml-definition for FieldName with FieldId

On a site collection of SP2013 on-premise farm, I found there are many similar log occur every minute. The logs are like:

The log level is medium. The same set of log occur every minute with same set of 60 different GUIDs. All related function on the site is working as expected. By using PowerShell to loop thru the site collections I confirmed there is no field using these
GUID. Also I have checked the content database and configuration database, also no luck to finding these GUIDs.
These logs should be related with the search service since the Authentication Authorization log mentioned it is the "Crawler" account in action. However I have no idea why the crawler keep looking for these GUID. I have reset the farm service multiple
times already.
The farm was upgraded from SP2010 and it seems no such logs before upgrade.
Any advice? Thank you.

From your description, this issue ocurred after you upgraded SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. Is it right?
Whether you have some solutions in SharePoint 2010.
If yes, please make sure you deploy the solution in SharePoint 2013 well after you upgraded to SharePoint 2013.

SecWinAD plug in for BOE XI R2

I need to download the secWinAD plug in for Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 and am unable to. I can't download it because for some reason I can't get to the downloads for BOE. Is is possible to have it emailed?

When enabling the AD plugin were you able to get it to accept your user credentials in the AD administration section?
Once this is done try using a group called domain users?
The AD plugin is rather simple to enable, getting more complicated when configuring login ffor java. If you are not able to enable it opening a case with support with an authentication engineer should resolve.

Why is the PAR file located in portalapps, pcd and temp folders???

Hi all - I downloaded the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.bak file to make changes to the logon page. I renamed the PAR file after it was downloaded, made my changes, and exported back into the portal. Everything is fine....I just have a question in terms of what the difference is between what appears to be 3 locations where this file is located. First, it appears that the file I exported is now located at:
ROOT/WEB-INF/portal/portalapps (timestamp 10:25:22 AM)
However, there are backup versions (.bak) located in the following locations;
ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/pcd (timestamp 10:24:46 AM)
ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp (timestamp 10:25:06 AM)
It appears as though the file is loaded into pcd, then to temp, and then to portalapps? What exactly is it doing, and why are there 2 backup files?

I understand the problem. Here are some ideas:
1) Permission repair only affects files in the system, userfiles are ignored.
2) For large file transfer, you must be hardwired. Wi-Fi is insufficient for transferring large files.
3) When copying Mac files to a Windows filesystem, illegal characters in a filename will cause the operation to stop without any informational error message. In any case, copying large files to a Windows machine is not very reliable. I recommend Mac-formatted network storage.
4) When attempting to mount a nonexistent network disk, Finder stalls with a 5 minute timeout. The solution is to add a "Quit Finder" menu item to the Finder icon in the Dock.
5) If the machine uses a dynamic localnet address, Finder is unable to locate an aliased network disk that has changed. You need to mount the disk with the "Connect to Server" dialog first to fix the aliase(s). A DNS setup may help to locate machines by hostname rather than IP address.
6) Switches are problematic. If you are using switches rather than routers you may be seeing congestion on machines connected to the switch.
7) I highly recommend rsync triggered by a cronjob running in the wee hours of the morning. rsync is robust and persistent in file copying.

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.

My iTunes account says that it cannot locate the original file for all of my songs. My iPhone still has all the music and is able to play the songs, if I sync and backup my iphone will the songs be replaced with the empty copies from my itunes library?

So basically I tried to back up my itunes library to my external hard drive and when I followed the instructions and then went to play a song it said Orginal file cannot be found. It said that for all of the songs. I'm not sure how to fix what I did, I already tried consolidating and all of that stuff and it didn't locate the files. I'm guessing that I somehow deleted the original songs along the way. I synced my iPhone without knowing what I did and surprisingly all of the music is still on my phone. Well I'm not sure if I correctly backed up my itunes library because when trying to open itunes from that back up it keeps saying original file not found. Okay this is going to sound confusing but bear with me. I "backed up" my itunes, meaning I just dragged and dropped the iTunes folder into my external hardrive, and then I changed the destination on iTunes to open from my external hardrive. It was working fine when I did that, however I did that just on my own, I didn't know about consolidating the files or any of that so I hadn't done that before copying the folder to my external hard drive. I can't remember but I'm pretty sure I deleted the iTunes folder after I had copied it to my external hardrive. So I did that and it was working fine, I was able to open my itunes with my external hardrive. BUT yesterday I thought that I hadn't done it correctly because I didn't consolidate the files and all that, so I wanted to be more thorough and do that, I followed the steps to do that but when I did that I think it got all the files from my computer and not from my external hard drive so it basically didn't find anything on my computer because I had deleted them. And like an idiot, I replaced the iTunes folder on my external hard drive (the one I did correctly the first time), with the one I did wrong. So I believe I pretty much deleted all the music files from both my external hard drive and my computer. Please correct me if I'm wrong?
I believe getting all my music back on my itunes is a lost cause. BUT I still have all my songs and stuff on my iPhone. My question is, if I plug my phone into my computer and sync it, will it erase all my songs from my phone? A little more info, my iTunes still has the names and stuff of all my songs, they just can't be played because the files are missing, my iPhone doesn't need to erase and sync when I plug in my phone because it's already synced to my computer. What I'm afraid of is when I plug in my phone to backup and sync, will it erase my music because it can't find the files on my computer or external hard drive anymore? Or will it just leave the songs because they're already there (on my phone) and only sync the new songs that I've downloaded? I just need to know is my iTunes still going to be functional as far as me being able to backup my phone?
I have a lot of songs purchased from iTunes but a lot (like 60%) are from CDs that I no longer have. So re-downloading my music would only account for 40% of my library.
