Location and filename for Mouse .Prefs in 10.5.3

My corded Mighty Mouse scrolling has been acting weird after installing
the 10.5.3 Combo update. My guess is the mouse prefs may be hosed
and I would like to start over by trashiing the .plist file. I have looked in
both root and user Preferenes and cannot find a mouse.plist file.
I would appreciate someone posting the location and real filename
for the file where the mouse preferences are stored.

Problem Solved - I hope!
It has been working great for a few hours. I think changing the setting
in the Universal Access/Zoom from ON to OFF did the trick and restting
the SMC had to have helped.
I really did not want to trash the systempreferences.plist file
Heads up if you are having Mouse issues after installing 10.5.3 to check
and be sure the Universal Access/Zoom button is OFF

Hi,
I'm trying to achieve the following:
Sales orders contained the 'normal' plant. Whenever a return delivery is created it should default the plant to a 'return delivery plant / storage location'. I've looked in to this and it seems we've got multiple options, however i would like to check:
- Implement V02V0002 user-exit and link with 'return' movement type. Will this ensure plant change aswell?
- Use standard RETA rule and define ?situations?. Could somebody clearify whether we can achieve our goal with this: Change plant and storage location?
Any suggestions to achieve the above are very much appreciated.
Note: Material contains both views for 'return plant/storage location' and 'normal plant/storage location'.
System is R/3 4.6c with IS Retail activated.

The delivery is created against/follow-on a sales order / subscription order / invoice. I don't think we use/have a 'return sales order'. Yes, we only use 1 plant / storage location for the returns of goods.
To sum it up:
- Implement badi/user-exit ensuring that the plant is changed/defaulted in to our 'returns plant' for return documents.
- Configure storage location via 'shipping condition'.
Correct?
Ps. I don't think we'll achieve changing the plant via configuring a shipping condition for our return document type. As the plant from the sales order doesn't match with the shipping condition it won't be taken in to account? And yes: It is mandatory/requirement to change the plant for customer return documents.

Change location and plant for Internal Goods/services

Hi all,
I want to change the plant and location information of product/material for SC item selected from Internal goods/services.
I am changing the plant and location - ( partner function 75 ) in doc change badi but its getting reset to originial value .
Even if i see item check the value is getting replaced with original value.
My question is can I change Plant/location for item selected from Internal goods/services. I could succesfully change the value when I selected item from catalog.
Please suggest.

yes I have assignned the plant i mean BE_plant in the specified badi.
But still its getting overwritten. So im guessing is that possible for internal goods/services.

Firefox pauses and waits for mouse input

I think this may be related to the new Firefox, but I'm not sure. It's a relatively new phenomenon... a couple of weeks now, i think.
Whenever I perform a browser task, like open a window or download a file or (sometimes)try to play a video in Firefox, the action will start but it only runs for a moment or two and then hangs.
I have found that the action will begin again as soon as I move my mouse or click a mouse button. So sometimes I will have to move my mouse in circles waiting for the requested action to finish.

I had the same issue on FF5. I just upgraded my Flash player, and the problem has now gone away.

Rechargeable batteries and charger for mouse/keyboard?

Can any recommend a quality set of rechargeable batteries for the Mac Pro, and maybe even a charger of choice?

For the mouse, battery weight makes a BIG difference. It feels best with just one lithium battery installed. See if you can find rechargeable lithium batteries of the same voltage as the ones that came with the mouse.

Which is the mac OS registry location and filename to determine the version of installed firefox?

I have a Mac mini with 10.8.4 installed. I installed firefox 21.0. I'm trying to locate the registry entry (plist) file which contains the version of firefox installed. This file needs to be used programatically.

This and any pages in the CF 10 docs should change any path references like "ColdFusion Zeus\" to "ColdFusion10\".

Cost Center Linkage between Functional Location and Equipment.

Hi Gurus,
We have found in our analysis that it is impossible to copy the cost center of a superior functonal location to a subordinate one when the cost center of subordinate functional location is changed manually.
We intend to do a mass change for our cost centers of all our functional locations and equipments for all our plants. We need to know how do we achieve this change of cost centers.

Actually the Master data team has to do a mass update of cost centers for the Functional locations and Equipments.
And what we have found is that when we change the cost center for an equipment individually it changes the cost center origin of the equipment to "D" which means independent of the changes in the cost center at FL level.
Be it IBIP or any other way what we have found that the linkage(cost center origin) between the FL and the EQUIP changes to "D" when ever we change the cost center for the equipment.
We don't want to change this linkage as it may have other consequences that we can not foresee at this point.
So, my question is :
If the FL and EQUIP linkage (cost center origin field) is changed(from H to D or D to H), what could be the effect on the FL and EQUIP relation?
Cost center origin :
D Independent of changes in cost center at FL level
H It is dependent on the FL cost center.

Viewing location and resource details in iCal

Hi,
I'm trying to better understand the use of the ICal Server Utlity for creating shared resources and locations. I'm still a SLS Server user (no plan to migration to Lion server soon), and all my users are using Lion.
Simply put, I have rooms I'd like my users to reserve. I've created them in iCal Server Utility and I can see and reserve them in iCal, so that's fine.
However, the locations (and resources for that matter) have extra "metadata" such as address, map, location, capacity and even a picture. But I've seen no way to let my users visualize this information. Browsing the directory through Address book does not return any of my resources so all this metadata seems lost.
Is there a way to let my users access this info? For example, I'd expect my users to right-click the conference room in iCal and view the resources' details, but this clearly doesn't work... :-(
Have any of you resolved this? Is an extra application required for this, e.g. browse the metadata of Open Directory locations and resources?

If you are creating the orders using MRP, you should make sure that the field MRP is set to 1 on the source list. The field 'fixed vendor' is not relevant to MRP. When the vendor is selected from the source list, the purchasing organization should be also copied to the purchase requisition.
The storage location will be copied from the respective field on the material master tab MRP2.

Magic mouse double click not operating. With iMac 24" and 10.6.8 bluetooth cannot discover the mouse and spins for ever, but mouse was working OK until 2 weeks ago. Now double click does not work, have to go to menu to open messages etc.. A nuisance.

Magic mouse is not discovered by bluethooth software, but it worked OK until 2 weeks ago (10.6.8 and iMac 24). Now the double clik does not open messages, I must go to the file menu to do it. A nuisance. Closing a file takes exactly 2 or 3 seconds! Any idea? Mouse and batteries are OK and checked by retailer. Please help.

My magic mouse works ok but I am getting the same message from Mouse prefs that no mouse is “discovered” and the progress gear spins forever. For the time being, at least, my mouse functions as expected.
I have trashed mouse prefs and rebooted, but that did not solve the problem.

Lion and Rosetta/The Mouse/Installing In As Many Mac For One Price

According to the NY Times, Lion eats Rosetta to shreds. Is there a way to know which programs use Rosetta? Like say, Photoshop or Word? How do you utilize the mouse? Say as always? Back to the article, it states: "your $30 covers as many Macs as you own. How do you install the app into the other Macs, if they are in three different locations, and don't speak to one another. Do you put the app on a flash?

Mouse pref for OS X 2.8

Anyone know where I can find my pref for my, Apple Optical Mouse? Sure would appreciate it. I got a prob with tracking and I think the pref is corrupted so I want to throw it out and restart. Maybe that will fix it. And yes, I've been to the tracking speed in the system prefs. No change though. My mouse does what it wants to.

   The preference is stored in your ~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist preference file. It's stored as a float value of the com.apple.mouse.scaling key. It can be set from the command line with the command:
defaults write -globalDomain com.apple.mouse.scaling -float <number>
The value is supposed to be less than 2 but the article, Apple Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Tips and Tricks suggests that a higher value may be used.
