Location indicator constantly on

My location indicator is constantly on. I have iphone 5s running ios7.0.5. I have shut off background app refresh, I have no apps running, and I have checked location settings to find no purple location indicator near an app name. I went through the apps individually and shut each on off, but that didn't change the location indicator, it remained on. The only thing that's
Shuts the indicator off is turning locations services off completely.
Any ideas?

I have experimented with the phone further and established the following.
turning off location for all apps and system services does not remove the location indicator
A purple arrow constantly appears by find my iphone. I diasbled location for this and still had a purple location indicator - even after a restart and restore.
Someone please help!

Hello Bernie,
Unfortunately there is no inbuilt option in Muse to add the location indicator (Breadcrumbs) to pages. However if you post your site on Business Catalyst you can use the business Catalyst feature and module to show these breadcrumbs on your site. You can use the video on adding CMS to your muse site from Business Catalyst.

Location services constantly on

Is anyone else's locations services constantly on? The LS arrow is always on my screen next to the battery. My battery seems like it is draining faster. Is anyone else having this issue?

If it is turned on I can't be sure if anything else is using my location (at a glance) since the arrow is constantly showing. I am aware that this function will use battery power, maybe constantly, but the arrow shouldn't be constantly showing. If it should, then why doesn't my friends iPhone show it? Either way there is a problem here.

IOS 8.1.2 Location Services constantly being used

There is a bug with 8.1.2 and I am not sure where to report it.
Location services is constantly in use.
The System Services settings I disabled were apparently reenabled with the iOS 8.1.2 update and this is killing the battery on my iPad 3.
I have a solution but really this should not be happening in the first place so where do I log this bug?

You can see which app is using location services here: Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Apps with a purple arrow next to them are using your location services.

Battery indicator constantly flashing

The LED battery life indicator on the back of my iBook's battery is constantly flashing a single dot. This happens wether or not I have pressed the button on the battery and even when the battery status in the menu bar reads a 50%+ charge (shouldn't it be showing at least 2 dots).
Why won't it stop blinking? Why don't the lights match up with what is shown in the battery status indicator in the menu bar?

How old is the battery, and how long does it last when you run from it? Does it flash even when running on the adapter?
Normally, one flashing light indicates a dead battery. Sometimes when the battery gets old, the status of the battery charge percentage does not read correctly on the iBook's battery status indicator.
Sometimes calibrating the battery will make the battery status indicator reflect a more accurate picture of your battery status.

The status/location indicator bar (says waiting for, communicating with, etc) across the bottom is gone, how can I get it back?

I can't find out where the line that tells what Firefox is currently doing has gone to. It usually says things like, "waiting for response from", "loading", "done". I rely on that status bar a lot and I have no idea what it is called, or where it went. Can anyone help?

Timeline location indicator missing, is there a shortcut to turn it on?

Day two of editing Motion 5. Like it however, I am missing the timeline - line that tells you where you are in the project. It is in the project window, I can see the green bar moving. I don't have it in the timeline nor the keyframe editor. So there a shortcut button I am missing. I can't seem to find it and it is driving me nuts. Thanks for your help.

Navigation pane location indicator not visible in develop module.

I have been 'fiddling' since and seem to be getting inconsistent results. - sometimes a blank gray screen (what I was getting when filing the question), when trying some other images I got a tiny thumbnail (navigator was on fit - when getting the thumbnail I selected 3:1 it magnified the image and filled the screen with the a three times image, I went back to fit and it correctly filled the screen).
I then tried the original images and they where okay. However when going back and forth between Library and Develop it is inconsistent with all images, sometimes gray, sometimes tiny thumbnail and sometimes sort of okay . The fit navigator seems to work very differently in Dev (is this meant to happen) it seems to work like fill and can only be corrected by going to 3:1 and back to fit. This also results in portrait photos being squeezed, again this can be fixed by the 3:1 back method, however the next landscape photo is then shown in portrait mode. BTW the screen in the top left, while showing a portrait photo as portrait in Library shows it as a squashed landscape. All a mystery but at least I have a workaround.
No message going from Library to Develop.
Re the metadata issue, sorry that is in Library (I just thought it may be related), What it does is in the Metadata panel the metadata status shows (conflict detected), there is also a white tag on the photos, which when clicked shows conflict and offers a panel to correct this.

ITunes saves everything to the wrong location

In my preferences I have it set so that everything saves to my music library, however, everything gets saved to my photo's library. Multiple times, I have closed iTunes and deleted everything in the iTunes folder in my folder library, but that accomplishes nothing. All of my music, movies, apps, etc, are in my music folder but when I redownload everything, iTunes puts it into the folder it keeps making in my photo library.

Assuming you were using iTunes' default settings it would put everything you need in the iTunes folder in your Music folder. iTunes has a central controlling file called library.itl which tells the application where your media files are actually located. Then there's a bunch of other files and folders that do things such as organize artwork, Genius, etc. Everything is in the one folder. The advantage of this is if you want to move it to a different drive all you have to do is copy the entire folder in one go, then restart iTunes as directed earlier.
If you change the preferences for iTunes it doesn't move the whole collection. It tells iTunes to store media in the location indicated in the future. You end up with old media stored on the original drive, new media on the other drive, and the other files and folders also on the main drive. This makes it much harder to re-organize because it requires multiple careful steps where you really know what you are doing.
Consolidating copies (not moves) files from wherever they are located to the location indicated in the iTunes media setting location preference.
If you still have everything intact on the main drive I would just back up and do the simple library move indicated earlier. I'm not sure where things are right now.
A tip. It is suggested you not use for general file storage the same drive to which Time Machine backs up. There can be issues with competing space. Second, if this is your backup drive and you are using it for media overflow, where is your backup of your media? I know people have problems because notebooks are so popular, but they really don't have the capacity for modern media and the only real solution is to have multiple external drives.

How to exempt a storage location from MRP run

Hi all,
How do I exempt a storage location and all its materials from MRP run.
I am creating a new storage location and this should not be considered for MRP and no idoc should be generated if a purchase order or a delivery is created from this storage location( should we stop entering this storage location in BD64 filters or anything more to prevent triggering of the idoc).
Can somebody please through some light on these issues.

You need to set up master data for that material.In Mrp-4 View set storage location indicator as 1(one) .In this case your storage location stock will be exclude from MRP .

Hi Karthik,
MRP area is nothing to do with storage locations settings in MRP4 view. If you want to activate MRP area and use the MRP run at MRP area level then you have to customized MRP area either at storage location level or sub-contractor level (in MRP master data settings )... then you need to assign this MRP1 view of the material and with valid MRP type. Now when you run the MRP then planning will be carried out at this MRP area for this part.
With storage location indicators in MRP4 view (must enter with putting the stoarge location values from MM02/MM03) you can exclude the stock of this storage location (indicator 1) in the palnning run or you can plan seperately with indicator2 with using re-order level. Here no need of MRP area.

Material Type Movement type and Storage location Authorization Object

Dear All,
My client wants that certain type of material i.e. SFG should not be GR Mvt. type 101 at the FG storage location, they want to restrict to some user ID .
Is there any authorization object or the enhancement to control all three parameter to restrict to particular USER ID?

Gnome Keyboard Indicator Problem...

Hi,
I have installed gnome on my laptop and the gnome keyboard indicator to change between usa and greece in languages. I have se the combination alt-shift and everything works when pressing alt-shift the change happens and I can switch between greek and english to write.
The problem is that the indicator constantly shows USA on the gnome panel and does not follow the switching as it is supposed to.
Is it a bug or something?

Location services icon blinks on even when no notifications are being used also recently used services should have a purple arrow but mine is grey

My location indicator icon on the tool bar seems to blink on randomly even when I have not used any services. Also when I do use a service I am not seeng the purple icon in the pricacy-location services appearing next to the recently used icon it seems to stay grey. Any ideas? Is this a bug perhaps?

I experience the same thing today. After hanging up from a regular phone call, I noticed the location services icon showing on the status screen of my phone for a split second. I always have my location services off. I checked my privacy settings and there was no record of any program using the location services. What is going on Apple? I was in a familar and secure WiFi network. Is location services secretly turning on thru wifi?
