Location of cached images from RSS screenblanker

Where does the screenblanker cache images from an RSS feed?
I have been using my own Picasa album as source for the screenblanker for more than a year now. A few days ago, images not originating from my album started to show up. At the moment I am not sure if this was a temporary glitch and these images are now taken from the local cache, or if this is a permanent problem. As new "alien" images are added constantly, I assume the problem is still present.
When looking at the raw RSS feed, I can't find any hint for images not from my Picasa album, so I don't think this is Google's fault. Has Apple started to "enrich" the feed with other images someone deems interesting?

The iPhoto library is a SQLite database and must always be treated as a single entity - you can not ever do anything to the individual components of the database
Moving it is simple - make sure that the EHD is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) - this is the required format for the iPhoto library) and is connected using a fast hard wired connection like USB, FireWire, Thunderbolt, etc - and then quit iPhoto and drag the library intact as a single entity to the external drive - hold down the option key while launching iPhoto until the select librarywindogw appears and select the new location - fully test it and once you are positive it is complete and at least one successful backup cycle has run so it is backed up in the new location and working you can trash the old library - test one ore time before emptying the trash
And verify that your backup is backing up the EHD (by default some like TM do not backup the EHD)

Building off StonyArc's suggestion, what you would need to do is add the RSS Feed as a REST data source. Assuming you leverage the following RSS Feed in REST https://en.blog.wordpress.com/feed/ via
the "Configure a connection" option and the added data source name is
feed. You would then need to the following:
1) Drop an "Image Gallery with Caption" and set its 'Items'
property to feed!channel!item as this contains all the items from the feed.
2) Edit the Gallery template and set the Image control within the gallery to
'media:thumbnail'!'$attributes'!url
This should now bring up the image per post. Note that all posts, do not have images, therefore some items within the gallery will be blank.

Moving pics location and removing images from iphoto

Here is the basic breakdown.
1. Imported pics from camera into iphoto.
2. I want to remove some of the pics from iphoto.
3. I do not want to use delete due to I want to burn/move a copy to CD or a different folder on my HD.
4. I moved a couple for test purposes from my iphoto lib to my home folder.
5. Reboot.
6. In iphoto I can still see the photos in the smaller views. but when I try to full screen the photo I get an grey screen ?x type of thing.
I do not want the small pic either.
Advice or direction?

To add to Terence's suggestions I'd like to expand on:
3. I do not want to use delete due to I want to burn/move a copy to CD or a different folder on my HD.
To copy those photos to another folder use the File->Export->File Export menu option. This will copy the files to the location of your choice.
To burn the photos to disk so that iPhoto can access them at a later date then use the method described by Terence. To burn just the jpg files to a disk without the iPhoto format use the Export route again to a folder on the desktop and then burn that folder via the Finder.
And do not take the warning about messing with files via the Finder lightly. As you found out it can really mess up the library.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Removing images from Apple TV

How do you remove cached images from your Apple TV library? Home sharing is on; we have library's on our computer but old images remain on the Apple TV.

I have an iPad and Apple TV with Photostream used on both. I tried deleting photos from Photostream (on the iPad) and some still remain (most did delete).
In order to clear Photostream, I completely eliminated it from the iPad and turned it off. I signed off Photostream on Apple TV and restarted it. Even though the photos originated on the iPad and it's been completely deleted from there and completely turned off there ... they still show up on Apple TV.
I restored Apple TV back to factory state and it reloaded the software update. After all that (and with no Photostream on the iPad) Apple TV still, somehow, gets all the old photos (including some of the prior deleted ones) when it should be getting none at all. Photostream has been "on" nowhere at all.
I don't seem to be even able to get rid of all the pictures in Photostream, no matter what I do!

Any way to retrieve this image from my cache? When saved it only saves as a 1.7KB blank file.

I'm trying to retrieve an image from Firefox's cache but so far have had no luck in doing so. The picture was hosted on imageshack and I had it open in a window but when I refreshed the page several hours later it was gone. I refreshed the page several more times, tried messing with the url to see if that did anything, but no luck. I haven't cleared anything on Firefox so I'm hoping there's some way I can recover it from the cache.

However, when I right clicked the URL and chose "Save Link As..." it only saved a 1.7KB file that none of my photo editing programs can recognize or open. I've tried going to cache entries for other image links and saving them and when I choose Save Link As for those they save just fine, and in full size, so I'm not sure why this one won't work...I'm using Offline Mode so I'm not sure why the picture no longer being hosted online should make a difference one way or the other. I'm just hoping that my act of refreshing the page and nothing being there didn't overwrite the cache file and thus erase the cache'd image.
So is there any hope of retrieving this picture or is it gone for good?

Once the image in question is replace with another one, the old one is erased. That is to say, if you open an image, say www.domain.com/image.png, and it's a 200x200 image, then you close it, it's still on cache, and you can access it through the cache. But if the image is changed in the server, that same exact url, and you access it again, at you see a 250x200 image (just an example), then the 200x200 is gone forever.
Your hope is that you never accessed the same URL again, so the old cache wasn't erased. If you know the url of the image, simply select offline mode (File > Work Offline, I think) and access its url. It will load the cached version and not check for the online one. Only if there is a cached version, of course.

How to load a PNG image from a location in CF card

Hi,
I am using WTK 2.5.2. I wanted to load a PNG image to Image object. The image is loaded when I have it in the classes folder. But I want to select different image from a different location. If I try to open an Image to createImage(String) from a different location, I get IOException.
Please help me.

IPhoto imports images from cache

I am new to OSX. i have an iPhone 5 and an iPad mini. i recently bought a MacBook Air and set up using all the same user name details. i've also connected all devices to iCloud.
when i first opened iPhoto i was pleased to see all my photos i had taken on the same day present and correct along with my recent (last month) photos taken on my iPhone/iPad
the next day i couldn't see my new photos within iPhoto so i hit import. it then literally grabbed everything. i have 25 duplicate pictures from my various i-Devices and iPhoto grabbed all images from fsCacheData. i've only had my MacBook 3 days and it imported over 6000 images in one hit!!
I've deleted all the dupes and cached images, but can someone tell me why this happened and how i can avoid this happening in the future? is there a setting i need to change?

Cannot drag and drop image from Safari to Desktop - drop location is unavai

Drag and drop an image from Safari 2.0.4 to the Mac OS X 10.4.10 Desktop does not save it. Console says:
"drop location is unavailable"
Control click over the image and "Save Linked File to the Desktop" works as expected.
Any hint most welcome. Thanks.

Why not simply adjust the link for the image in the Links palette? Certainly could be contained in an action, if need be for duplicating and exporting multiple images...

CALLING A IMAGE FROM A LOCATION OF SERVER

Hello to all,i have 2 doubts:
1ª) try to do this by creating a dummy image and then i format picture and put url{var} where var is in xml element and contains the path of the picture but doesnt work. i'm doing something wrong?
2º) sometimes i want to call an image without the dummy because i'm limited to the size of the dummy image and if i have pictures in vertical and other in horizontal the aspect isnt quite good. i have a xsl command that i can call an image from a location (contained in a xml element )and resize it at runtime?

For me i dont thing, this problem occurred. As i checked by setting the page cache to 1 hour. After that images loaded normally as usual.
I tried with my mozilla browser. In which browser you tried, may be your browser fault.

I am trying to download images from my flicker account to flex builder. When i search online i got so many API which can do this but i do in different way I want to download images using RSS feed. I want to download RSS (XML) feed which contain all the information about the photos in flicker.
If we got that RSS feed I can create an array of all the information and i can use it to download images.
Can anyone tell me how should i connect with flicker using flex to download my images?

Why do my photos move around when I save an image from email so difficult to locate the new saved image

My photos move around randomly after I save an image from email can't locate picture easily with 1000 photos on iPad please help

I believe the default is for them to order themselves in 'date taken' order. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to change that. It's the default in the photos app and users can't change it. You can try looking for a third party photo app that may have more functionality. Afraid I can't recommend any since I've never looked for them but I'm sure someone can.

OnLocation CS3 used Direct Draw to create the video window. In Vista, you may have noticed that OnLocation CS3 would disable 'Aero' themed desktops as they did not support Direct Draw. Windows 7 does not have this functionality, so you must disable the Aero theme manually to see the video in OnLocation CS3.
To do this, right click on open desktop and choose Personalize.
This will display available Themes.
Scroll down to the 'Basic and High Contrast Themes'.
Choose any one of the basic or high contrast themes.
Restart OnLocation CS3.
This should bring your video back into view.
