Location of the 'Folders' Component?

Hi All, I'm trying to install the Folders component but I'm unable to figure out where it is. In the guide I'm using it says:
Folders - You can find this component in the \extras directory of the Content
Server 10gR3 distribution package. Make sure that you choose to install the Folders
WebDAV component in the installation options (this is not the default).
When I look in my \extras directory, the only thing I see containing the word 'folders' is FolderStructureArchive.zip - I installed that but I'm pretty sure its not the Folders component, right?
I've downloaded the 10gr3 package again to make sure that my install package was complete, and it contained the same things. Anyone have any advice on this? If I am indeed missing it, is there somewhere I can download it?
Thanks!!!!

Hey Brian,
you can find it inside your UCM installer folder. Go to
<UCM Installer location>\packages\allplatform
at this location you would be able to find folders_g component.
cheers,

  • Is it possible to change the location of the user component directory in TS4.0

    I would like to override the default location of the user component directory to a network drive / source control file system, in order to execute my own loginlogout sequence without having to deploy any files locally. is this doable in TS 4.0? If so how?

    Hi freak,
    Unfortunately what you are trying to accomplish is not entirely possible.
    You can move your user components directory to a network drive and then add a search directory and point it to that location. And then you can set that to a higher priority than the NI and User components folders so that location gets searched first.
    However, the issue is some components need to be in a certain local location in either the NI or the User components folder and TestStand will not look in other locations for them. This includes the languages and the icons, and more importantly the FrontEnd and Station Callbacks. And the FrontEndCallbacks.seq file is the file that contains the login/logout steps and TestStand will not look in a different  search directory for them.
    Hope this answers your question.

  • Messages from local folders get corrupted when the folders are moved to different location

    Hello,
    I have several local folders with thousand of messages. Normally I store them on a mapped network driver so my local folder configuration in Thunderbird is like Z:\emails.
    I needed to move the local folders to my computer and what I did was copy the whole folder "emails" from my network location and reconfigured Thunderbird local folder config to C:\emails - basically same as before but on a local drive. Restarted Thunderbird as requested by the application.
    (I should mention that I've done this exact procedure before(but not recently) and it was working fine. )
    Anyway, when I did that I could see all my local folders however when I attempted to access any of the folders Thunderbird would perform "rebuilding index..." automatically which ends up in that all the messages in my local folder are marked as "unread" and they have no header - no subject or sender or people in cc, no attachments. If I attempt to see any of the emails I can see the content of the email(the written part anyway) and instead of the normal header I see the technical information of the header that looks like:
    X-Mozilla-Status: 0001
    X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000
    X-Mozilla-Keys:
    followed by "Send - (for example "muder [(unix socket)])", "Received", "Scanned" "Certificate", authentication and other technical information.
    Currently running Thunderbird 31.0 on W7 Pro x64. As I already mentioned I've done the above procedure several times before but not recently and since then I've updated Thinderbird at least a couple of times so I assume the problem is caused by something in the newer versions.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    wdseml files are provided for the sole purpose of allowing windows limited search to search mail. They form no part of your mail store in Thunderbird really and constitute a total waste of disk space unless you are in the practice of using windows search to search your mail. Something I simply do not understand as Thunderbirds search is superior in my view.

    I have no problem pulling up a complete list of downloaded music.  My problem exists with past downloads I put into a "Folder" then copied that folder to a CD.  A bit frustrating.

    Kevin is suggesting that you store the projects you create while working through his book in a folder called RoboHelpProjects. It is not where you have to store every project you ever create.That is for the purposes of his book.
    RoboHelp initially defaults to My RoboHelp Projects but it's up to you whether you do. Generally on the forums we advise against that as  it is part of your profile and can result in excessively long path names in a few cases. Generally where authors create file names that are so long they almost serve as the content.
    Projects always have a root folder, call them Project 1 and Project 2 for this purpose. You can have those folders directly off your C drive (or other local partition) or within in a parent folder as above.
    Now to what you can and cannot do. You can delete a whole project by selecting Project 1 or Project 2 in Windows Explorer. Obviously if you delete the parent folder you will delete all your projects within.
    What you must not do is delete individual files within a project using Windows Explorer, for that you use RoboHelp's Project Manager. The exception is if you go to Tools > Reports there is a report Unused Files. Files listed there will have to be deleted using Windows Explorer for the very good reason they do not appear in Project Manager and, therefore, cannot be deleted that way.
    If you think about it, it is similar to Word. There is no option to delete a document there other than using File > Open and right clicking. Not very intuitive.

  • Home Folders not located in the usual place....Please Help!

    I had a power failure this past weekend and now the client stations get the following error after logging in and selecting a group:
    "The Home folder for user "student1" is not located in the ususal place or cannot be accessed.
    I have done the following:
    1-Unshare and share share points
    2-Delete mcx_cache file in client station
    3-check host name
    4-Demote Server to recreate Home Directories
    I created a new user and group with this new directory after demoting and promoting the server to Open Directory Master and I still get the dreaded message that the Home Folders can't be accessed, any assisstance will be greatly appreciated!
    If I log in with a network user using the server, I can log in fine, also, if I go to the client computer and log in as a local user, and try to connect using the finder menu and a network user I have no problems. What else I can do to solve this issue!

  • What CD's is the Forms Component located on?

    I am trying to get hold of the Developer 2000 piece..and was wondering if it is located on the Oracle 8.16 enterprise CD? I cannot seem to find any installation component on this CD..Is it only located on a personal edition..or do I need to order a specific Developer 2000 CD? Any help would be appreciated

    Forms is a separate tool to the database so myguess is you have the database CD and you need to order the Tools CD (iDs - Oracle Internet Developer Suite)

    I have resolved my problem at this evening...
    I have just used setResizeWeight(double C);
    C value of 0, the default, indicates the right/bottom component gets all the extra space (the left/top component acts fixed), where as a value of 1 specifies the left/top component gets all the extra space (the right/bottom component acts fixed). Specifically, the left/top component gets (weight * diff) extra space and the right/bottom component gets (1 - weight) * diff extra space.
    thanks so much.. You make try to fight this project all I have...

    Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory
    Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 15.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
    Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
    *Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
    Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    I am new to PSE 12 and am trying to import my photos from folders on my desktop which I have organized by the categories I had in my previous program (Creative Memories).  Many of my photos are located in multiple folders, i.e. one photo could be in "Family," Vacations" and "Birthdays."  When I try to import the contents of each folder on my desktop I am often getting the message that many of my photos were not imported as they are already in my catalog.  Is there a way that I can import any one photo multiple times so that it ends up in all the folders I want it to be in?  I know I can locate the photo in PSE and copy it to a different folder(s), but there are so many not being imported that this would be a huge task!

    By design, the organizer (and any other database management systems) is there to prevent you from duplicating your media files. The catalog management allows you to have the same image in different categories or albums. Duplication in different folders is to be absolutely avoided.
    The same image file can have multiple tags like 'family', 'vacations', 'birthdays' and be present in three different albums with the same names. On obvious advantage is less disk space. Another one with your present folder system is that if you edit one of your duplicates, the other ones are unchanged.
    I don't see an easy way to make your present folder structure simplified for the organizer ...

  • HT1364 I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again.  How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanen

    I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again.  How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanent?  I have an older machine with Windows XP.

    I don't believe mounting the hard drive should be necessary, unless you have several external drives and want your computer to recognise them as folders, rather than drives. I've never had to mount a hard drive, ever. If you don't know how to do it, then it shouldn't be necessary now.
    Try this:
    Prepare iTunes so that it can see the external drive.
    Make a note of which drive-letter the external drive has been allocated. (Look in Windows Exploer)
    Look at the file location for a song. Make sure it plays (and therefore that iTunes has found it). Highlight it and select File/Get Info/Summary>Where: and make a note of the drive letter for that song.
    Close and shut down the computer.
    The next time you turn the computer on again, connect the external drive
    Before you start iTunes - check the external drive in Windows Explorer. Is it ready, does it have the same drive-letter that it had last time? Can you go into the drive and see the files on it?
    Once you can, start iTunes. (If the drive lettter has changed, you need to work out why before going any further.)
    If iTunes fails to find your external drive, you need to check where iTunes is looking for your Library.
    Select the same song you checked before (presumably iTunes can no longer find it). Follow the procedure for locating it. You should be able to see where iTunes thinks the file is. It's the drive that counts. Which drive letter is iTunes looking at? Is it the same one that it was previously (which should also be the same one that the drive has now).
    What happens, which step do you have problems with?

  • "The home folder...isn't located in the usual place or can't be accessed" after 10.9 AD bind.

    Okay a little backstory here because I'm trying to eliminate or identify what I feel might be a bug in OS X Mountain Lion and Mavericks.  Just FYI, I'm not our institution's AD admin, I just have rights to bind and query for this and that, but I can't make changes or really investigate our AD domain server/s:
    So we're an educational institution with lots of adjuncts that come and go each year.  Recently in August, I had about 5 cases where these adjuncts couldn't log in because of a cryptic "login failed" error.  I have my macs setup to create mobile accounts without confirmation.  I don't want ANY syncing going on just local user accounts created, but something in the profile creation process demands access to their network home folder.  Well these 5 users were brand spanking new and somehow didn't have permissions to their own network home folders that everyone else hasn't had a problem with before.  I had our admins fix the permissions, and they were able to login thereafter.  Our admins are still looking for what might have caused this, but still don't know....
    Recently I've been testing the same AD bind script I've always used on Mavericks.  It's a simple bash "dsconfigad" customized for our institution.  It seems to work successfully but on the login screen I get no usual "arrow" that allows me to back out and click "Other" and login to AD.  I reseated the Ethernet cord and checked the AD configuration in Directory Utility - it was all set correctly as per the script parameters.  When I clicked OK and exited out to the login screen, the Other option was working correctly.  I was able to login with my own credentials just fine.
    I needed to tweak my image a little so I wiped and reloaded the machine with the new image (nothing relevant to binding and users was changed).  Got the same "no arrow" issue and tried the same steps, which again worked after some monkeying around.  I tried to login with my credentials - failed.  Now I get "The home folder for user 'my username' isn't located in the usual place or can't be located."  I went into a local user admin account and tried to add my home folder manually, nogo.  I logged onto a windows machine and tried to mount the same home folder in Windows - access denied - this is the SAME type of thing that ended up happening to my adjuncts.  I don't know if they are related but it's certainly a strange coincidence.
    How could testing AD binds change my home folder permissions, or possibly even corrupt the folder altogether?  The network share/home folder that our macs smb communicate with as per the bind settings are on a windows server (to the best of my knowledge).  My guess previously with the adjuncts error is that despite the fact that I don't need or want the profiles created to sync, the default options turns this on for mobile accounts even though it doesn't select any actual folders for syncing, but because it still tries some sort of "handshake" or something initially, first logins fail without network home folder permissions.  Now it seems like something in the initial profile creation process might actually be corrupting the network home folder or changing its permissions.
    I would post the bind script but I'm not sure it's relevant, as another mac admin in a different area ran into the same error with one of his new users and he bound manually, not with a script.
    I'm kind of new to this sysadmin stuff, so does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to track down the cause of this and possibly fix it?  The network share admin can fix my permissions, but if I could break it when it was working once, I foresee this happening again.

    Here's the script I used previously that is not connecting to AD "completely" that causes the errors mentioned (I'm replacing institution info with "xxx"):
    echo -n "This computer needs to be renamed and bound to Active Directory.  Please enter the XXX Inventory Number from the affixed XXX label on the machine: "
        read userinput
        echo -n "Enter the XXXAdmin password (you will still be asked to enter this for system configuration changes): "

        namespace="domain"
        packetsign="require"
        packetencrypt="require"
        localuser="XXXAdmin"
        localpassword=$xxxpassword
        # Bind to AD
        echo "Binding to AD - do not interrupt…"
        dsconfigad -add $fqdn -username $username -password "$password" -computer $computerid -force -packetencrypt $packetencrypt -localuser $localuser -localpassword $localpassword

    Can anyone tell me if I need to update the script for Mavericks, and how?  Or should this be working and the bug is in Mavericks itself?

  • How can I get the DC component out of a signal in Labview

    I was trying to get the DC component of a signal using lowpass filters provided by Labview(professional version 8.2). I used the FIR windowed filter but I couldn't get what I expected. The sample rate is 20* the maxium signal frequency. I simulated a function like y= 10(volt)+Sin(2*pi*f*t+phase). If I set the low cutoff to be less than the frequency f, shouldn't I get 10 volt as the outputs?  See the attachment for vi. Thanks!

    Hi,
    You can use the filters located in Signal Processing -> Filters, then create a constant from the "filter type" input and select "Lowpass". There is also an AC & DC estimator vi, located in: Signal Processing -> Measurement.
    You may also use something like "running mean" filter. To do it you need to calculate the mean value in some range around every point. It will decrease the value of the noise and will give you the dc value (or slow changing part) of your signal. Finally you can use median filter.

    When I start up my laptop I get an error message that says 'The Procedure entry point_NSConcreteStackBlock could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll. I have tried to uninstall itunes and all its files, I have tried to install safari, i have tried to repair Apple application support but still when I boot laptop, I get the message....I am at a loss as to what will cure this!

    You should have one copy of CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple Application Support or C:\Program Files (x68)\Common Files\Apple Application Support if this is a 64-bit Windows.
    The detailed file properties should be as shown.
    If the file you have is correct check to see if there is another copy in the main iTunes folder. If so delete it and see if that helps.
    Otherwise try uninstalling/deleting folders/reinstalling iTunes again. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more details. Your issue looks a bit like it might be a variation of the issue in the first box.
    Also worth checking that you have uninstalled the MobileMe control panel and any third party software that might try to talk to iTunes.
