Location of the outpout file following an extract

Hi,
In order to make some tests on the iSetup module, could you indicate us what is the location (path) on the server of the generated file following an extract. is it in the  "AZ" folder ?
Thanks by advance

New code:
URL hsURL = HelpSet.findHelpSet(null,"file:///f:/AppData/Progress/java/projects/LDConsole/pkg/help/consolehelp.hs");
Still gives a zero pointer
the jh.jar file is located in f:/AppData/Progress/java/projects/LDConsole/pkg
The path contains this directory

  • What is the location for the swatches file in the illustrator product part of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium for windows (date and lenght)? File that manges its funcionallity.  Thanks

As per adobe agent chat representative, the following question is posted on the fórum to obtain an answe from adobe.
What is the location for the swatches file in the illustrator product part of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium for windows (date and lenght)? File that manges its funcionallity.
    Thanks
    <moved from downloading,installing,setting up - kglad>

Illustrator is not working as it should...
I want them to compare the original size and date of creation with what I have installed on my computer... I have installed several times with my original CD and I tried once downloading the files from the adobe site (using my own license). I suspect the files has been modified or renamed on my laptop by an external unauthorized user causing the malfunction of the application.
Customer services does not support CS3 anymore and the updates / patches in the adobe site does not solve the problem... They redirect me to the forums for support...
Presently, my problem is that after creating a swatch and drag it to the swatch panel, it does not fill as it should a new form... Now, after deactivating and activating my license the swatch seems to fill the new form but when the filter that the swatch has is persistence in the next filling object created even though a different color is being used as a fill (X)... Help in the creation of a swatch over the internet just complicate the issue.
That's why I would like to know whether updates on my product are being received or files are being replaced without my knowledge...
    Thanks...

  • When accessing my itunes library of music I get the notation on all songs ...The song could not be located because the origional file could not be found...how can this be corrected or did Apple wipe out all the files

wien I access Itunes I get the notification....the song could not be located because the origional filoe could not be found...I have over 2000
songs in my library ....Does this mean they are all gone....How can one retrieve them???

This missing song thing happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
Once you've sorted out the broken links I've written a script called DeDuper which can help remove unwanted duplicates. See this thread for background.

  • Windows 8.1 Client Side Caching - Is it possible to specify the location of the offline file cache?

    Hi,
Is there any approved way to change the location of the offline files cache in Windows 8.1?  I'm asking before moving client systems from Windows 7 where a registry change was required - is this still the way to go?
I believe that if the default user-profile directory is moved, this causes problems for updates to Windows 8/8.1 now, is the same true if you move CSC?
Just a bit of background.  The systems I want to do this for have smallish SSD boot drives with a higher capacity spinning disk.  The machines are members of a domain with Folder Redirection setup.  I could setup group policies to disable
caching of some of the larger directories or even disable CSC entirely on the machines which have an SSD boot drive, but would prefer not to do so.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
According to your descryption, In windows 7, the tool is migwiz.exe, namely the Windows Easy Transfer, you can modify the registry in the way listed in the post below:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/bbf5890c-b3d7-4b38-83d8-d9a5e025fb2b/how-to-move-clientside-caching-to-a-new-location?forum=w7itproinstall
In Windows 8, Windows easy transfer is also a built in tool to migrate user profiles and user settings, but as for the offline transfer, I suggest to use the USMT for your situation.
Because with USMT you can specify the folder that you want to migrate the files to, by using an offline.xml you can set the path just as the sample listed below:
    <offline>
         <winDir>
              <path>C:\Windows</path>
              <path>D:\Windows</path>
              <path>E:\</path>
         </winDir>
         <failOnMultipleWinDir>1</failOnMultipleWinDir>
    </offline>

I cannot play my rented movie because itunes cannot locate where the original file, has anyone face this problem before? Where can I find the location of the downloaded movie?

What did you use to download it with? iPad? iPhone? Computer?
If it's an iPad/iPhone, play it using the videos app.
If on the computer, look on the left side of iTunes in the library under movies.

    I saw your post today.
Moving the hosts file to the desktop will make it part of a roaming profile?  That's means that activation will occur from any computer that are part and available of my microsoft local network.  How can I make sure that the program I access is the one located on my local C drive and not in a roaming profile in maybe a cloud environment or from an unknown equipment with access to my network without authorization. I have only 1 laptop where I install locally the CS3 suit
My host file has not entries on it and even when trying to copy to the desktop the activation can not be completed, same problem.  Days ago I used the trial option instead of the activation, after trying to activate the whole product as you mentioned in your reply, the trial period remaining got back to the original 30 days.
I have recently noticed that I have a roaming profile with a workspace file different to the one I have on my local disk (3 files basic, panel and type).  On the roaming profile I see a directory for adobe illustrator CS3 settings \ workspaces \ AIWSPrefs file which has different entries than the one I have at the local drive.  Normally I do not customize a lot the workspace or safe the setting used, I load the brushes, swatches, etc manually from the location they are on my local drive so the swatches and brushes directories on the roaming profile are empty instead. Adobe Eureka and Kuler palettes exists on the basic local file not in the roaming one.
The directories on my roaming profile are:
    Acrobat
    Adobe Illustrator CS3 Settings
    Adobe PDF
    Adobe Photoshop CS3
    Color
    Dreamweaver 9
    Flash Player
    Fonts
    Headlights
    Linguistics
    Logs
    LogTransport2
    Save For Web AI
    Updater5
    Workflow
    XMP
Inside illustrator roaming directory, the following files :
    AI Color Settings
    AIAppResources
    AIMenuFaceCache
    AIPrefs
    Brushes
    Composite Fonts
    Graphic Styles
    IllustratorFnt.lst
    Kinsoku
    MojiKumi
    New Document Profiles
    Plug-in Cache.ARTX
    Plug-ins
    Print Presets
    Save for Web Settings
    Swatches
    Symbols
    Transparency Flattener Presets
    Workspaces
In the above scenario, which workspace and other functions files will take precedence?  How can I avoid the roaming profile?
Not being able to copy files from the roaming profile to my local disk, I wondering how this roaming profile was created and why the files are in there.   Those files have a date from last month, the local files were more recently installed.
Your comments will be appreciated at your earliest.
    Thanks in advance

  • Location of the PLAYLIST File(s)

    Hello,
Where are the PLAYLISTS - used by iTunes - actually stored on the hard drive? I would like to know the location of this file(s). Thanks for this help. Dale

    Hi Chris CA,
Thanks for your very fast reply.
My explanation is as follows: I accidentally deleted one of my playlists in iTunes. No music, covers or anything else were deleted. Now, I want to restore playlists from my Time Machine backups, and I would like to restore only the specific file(s) involved. Therefore, based on your information, it appears that I only need to restore the "iTunes Library" file. My "iTunes Music" folder is over 60Gb - so I would like to avoid replacing the entire music folder - because it does not appear relevant.
    Questions:
    1. Am I correct to restore only the "iTunes Library" file in order to get my playlists back to their prior condition?
    2. What is the difference between the "iTunes Library" file and the "iTunes Library.xml" file - both in the iTunes folder on my hard drive? However, I note that Time Machine only shows the "Library" but not the "Library.xml" file. I am uncertain about the reason that the "Library.xml" file was not backed up on Time Machine. Can you explain?
    3. As I remember, when I originally installed iTunes, it asked me to confirm each time I would delete a playlist. Is there a way I can restore this safety feature to prevent accidental deletions of playlists in the future?
    Again, thank you. Dale

  • My experience of location of the control file

Just learn bad experience by putting control file on a remote server.
My original idea with the remote drive was to spread out th risk of losing all control files on the same location. But with one on remote drive it means
    1. That remote server has to be always on. I can not shut it down for other purpose especially when the remote server is my test server.
    2. My current oracle home was setup with a link directory from one drive to another local drive (by a previous Contractor). BAD for the startup if using the pfile. I have to include the total path of the pfile, even the init. ora file is in the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs, when I use modified pfile to startup.
    ex startup pfile='/total_path/init.ora'
however I can use below to create a new init.ora file that saves into the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
    create pfile='init.ora' from spfile;
So I am going to change the location of my control file to one of the local drives, just different to that of other control files.
This is my 2 cents opinion. Welcome any comments. Thanks.

I think I can move second copy of redo log back to the server but at different hd when the Oracle is running. right?
by dropping the inactive one group and recreate the group while other current group is on. But very becareful
( I have practiced on my test machine to drop one member, but 10g does not allow)
I configured the flash_recovery to the drive where also store one copy of the archivelog. Since there is not much space left one other two drives, so I put other copy of the archivelog on a remote server.

    Hello stoneape,
What happens when you try to synchronize using Desktop Software? Do you receive any error messages?
How are you certain that you are currently enabled for wireless syncronization?

  • Can I change the location of the TOC file?

    Hi,
In Robohelp (I have RH HTML v.8.02.208), it is easy enough to add a table of contents to a project; however, it seems that a RH TOC can only exist in the root directory. Is there a way around this?
My motivation stems from some autogenerated material (using Doxygen) that I add to one of my Robohelp projects. Because I would like to separate this Doxygen material from other files in the Robohelp project, I want to generate it to a subfolder "Doxy". I would like to use the Doxygen-generated HHC file in my project's TOC using the Insert TOC Placeholder, but this feature only accesses HHC files found in the root folder. If I were to move the HHC file from 'Doxy' to the root folder then I would also have to move all the HTMLs along with it to avoid breaking links...then I am stuck with the messy root folder I was trying to avoid.

To be honest software development is a numbers game. Adobe are no different in this respect. If they have time to code two bug fixes but one has been reported once and the other ten times, guess which one gets fixed? By reporting bugs and asking for feature requests there can be no guarentee of getting it fixed or implemented. This is why I always encourage people to report bugs and feature requests. The more people that do, the greater chance there is that they are dealt with. I have seen many bugs fixed and feature requests added that I have reported so it is definitely worth doing. As for when another RoboHelp release will be, only Adobe can answer that.

  • Specifying the location of the support files while building installer.

Mr requirement is to store a support file in a directory just above the install directory.
    example...
    my support file is good.xls
I have installed my application at c:\motion\move\go.exe
I want the support file to be installed automatically at c:\motion\infos\template\good.xls. when i install my application.
i tried to do this by specifying the path at the files tab in the installer settings. I am not clear with the destination directory settings.
    how is achieve this .

    Hi again,
let me see if I undersood your problem: you need to build an application with which a support file has to be created in the sub-folder INFO\TEMPLATE relative to the main folder where the program is installed; and you want to leave the possibility to choose the main folder.
If this is correct, I modified your build file to show how to do it.
Open the test3.bld with the app. builder:
    - Target tab: here you set the destination of your application when you hit the Build button;the support file directory is where the builder and installer will place automatically any needed support file ( for example dlls)
    - Source files tab: click on custom destinations and select test.txt; you see that the destination is c:\test\info\template. Thi
s is the place where this speciific support file will be placed when buiding the app.
    - Switch to Installer Settings tab: you see that the default installation foldet is Program files with sub-folder Application. This is the default destination of your application when you run the installer. But keep in mind that you have the option to change this destination during installation (you get a message dialog).
    - Hit the Files button and select Test.txt. The installation destination is set to Install directory (it is the destination directory you choose during install). And as Insatllation application subdirectory I typed info/template. This is the path destination of your support file relative to installation dir.
With the installer created you can choose the install dir. and the test.txt will be created in \info\template.
Let me know if you need more explaination.
    Good luck,
    Alberto
