Location restrictions for trial downloads?

My location is Ethiopia. I'm having trouble downloading InDesign CC free trial. Is this because of my location?

Hi Mary,
Ethiooia is not listed in the list of countries where Creative Cloud membership is available.
Please refer : http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/products/creativecloud/cc/pdfs/cc-availability-m atrix.pdf
CC FAQ : http://www.adobe.com/in/products/creativecloud/faq.html
But you can always install Indesign CS6 and use the trial for 30 days.
You can download Indesign CS6 from : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html

  • Do I need a password for trial download of PE 6?

I just downloaded a trial of PE 6 on a PowerBook G4 with 10.5.6. When opening to install, I get a setup window with my name and asking for a password. Adobe did not email a trial password to me and I did not purchase the software. So, how do I use this trial version? FYI, I have a purchased version of PE 4 installed, but I have not opened it since the trial download of PE 6.
    Thanks much for any assistance.

If you do purchase PSE, please don't try to put a serial number into the trial. Adobe says you can do that, but it's not true. You need to remove the trial by running its uninstaller (save the download so you can run the installer again and choose Remove Components), and then install the retail version.

  • Serial # for trial download

Where can I find the serial # for a trial download of Adobe XI for installation?

There is no serial number to utilize the trial.  You can obtain a serial number by purchasing the software.

  • Link for trial download won't open on Mac. What to do?

I have a Mac Pro OS 10.8.5. and I need to download a trial Photoshop version for my art class assignment, but whenever I go on the official city and click on the link to download the testversion it just loads the page for hours but never manages to open it. Can anyone help?

If CS6 meets your needs you can download the trial directly from here:

  • Error extracting the product installer for trial downloads

Hi-- I tried to download the trial version of Creative Suite Design Premium last night. Waited the two+ hours for the process, and at the end I got the message "Error exracting the product installer (Error 101). Check for available disk space on your system and try downloading the product again." Because it was by then late, I left it and came back to it today. I assumed that the CS was too big for my system, so I decided to just install the two products I really want, Photoshop CS Extended, and Illustrator, separately. Unfortunately, I got the same error messages. Tried the troubleshooting advice to no avail. My computer has plenty of disk space available (1.34 TB of free space -- clearly enough!). Any other advice you can offer me?

I found my answer in a previous thread on the Forum -- it worked for me.

Re: CS5.5 Download Assistant Error 101
      Ok, the problem is solved!
Go to: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html.  This is the direct link that downloads any Adobe CS5.5 file without the help of the Adobe Download Assistant software.  Read and follow the instructs exactly on this site.  Very Important:  MAKE SURE TO SIGN IN or CREATE A FREE ADOBE ID IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO.  If not, you will get a message saying "access denied" or "resume your download", and thus, preventing the connection.
Once the files have downloaded (2 files in total), extract the files to your desktop.
Once the extraction process has been completed, click on the "Setup Bootstrapper Application" installer file in the extracted folder and that should manually open the Installation screen.  Just follow the installation instructions, and everything should work!  Good luck!

  • Serial Number for Trial Download

I downloaded the trial version of Illustrator CS6 and when the installer starts, it asks me for a serial number!!!

Did you have the trial installed previously?  Do you have any other Adobe software installed?  Which operating system are you using?

    Help?!?!?

OBAMArlz for your next step I would recommend trying to initiate the Adobe Download Assistant in selective startup.  You can find steps on how to complete this at Disable startup items, services | Windows - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-services-windows.html.

    Ignore the erroneous message stating:
"If you purchased a CS6 product..."
"You'll need your CS6 serial number to complete the installation."
This is a trial.  No previous purchase is required, and no
existing serial number is required to complete installation.
No Adobe ID or login is required for download.

Here is an alternate, slightly more complicated download location:
Adobe CS6 Trial Downloads: Direct Links
    http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
Be sure to read "Note: Very Important Instructions".
    (Requires Adobe ID for download)
If you do already own a license for C6, all of these trial downloads
can be authorized online by using your existing serial number(s).
Perfect for backing up your boxed DVDs.
    Pertinent factoids:
    Adobe Creative Suite 6 FAQ
    Under: "Trial information"
"Does Adobe have trial versions of Creative Suite 6?"
"We no longer offer trials of the CS6 versions of the applications."
You can ignore the above erroneous statement.
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5453949#5453949
Under: "Upgrade eligibility, pricing, and purchasing options"
"Adobe will continue to make Creative Suite 6 available as a perpetual
software license, and will provide bug fixes and security updates
as necessary. All of the CS6 suite editions and individual products
continue to be available for purchase by Electronic Software Delivery
(ESD) on Adobe.com as well as through select retailers.
Volume licensing for these products is also available
    through Adobe Authorized Resellers worldwide."
"We plan to sell Creative Suite 6 for use
    on supported platforms indefinitely."

    I am using Firefox:
Try using the alternate 'ProDesign Tools' link.
It is a more complicated process, and requires Adobe ID login,
but it has no mention of avoiding any particular browser.

  • Where can I locate Contribute CS 4 trial download?

Where can I locate Contribute CS 4 trial download? Each time I go to Download Center I am only taken the details and subscribed to weird notifications. There does not seem to be any trial download at all.
I also registered a sales callback at 3 PM Eastern and no one has called me hitherto.

Now that CS5 is available, there is no CS4 download.
Actually, I don't even see a trial for CS5 on the adobe site.

On Windows XP Firefox shows the menu bar by default and not the orange Firefox menu button that is shown when the menu bar is hidden.<br />
The menu bar is the toolbar at the top that shows menu items like File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help.<br />
You can press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily in case this bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).
The Navigation Toolbar shows the Back and forward button and the input field where you type the address of a site that you want to visit (aka location bar) and also has a search bar where you can type items that you want to look up with a search engine (Google).

  • What's with the non-existant free trial download for Photoshop?

What's with the non-existant free trial download for Photoshop?  You click on "Download free trial" and it takes you to a page that takes you to a forum… nothing happens.  I've done this about 6 times on two browsers.  Of course, there's no help from Adobe, so I'm trying this forum.  Thanks!

Thanks very much for a prompt reply!  Much appreciated. Unfortunately, that's exactly the page I was on. And I used both Firefox and Safari and got the same page, with the same nothing...

  • Adobe Download Assistant does not begin or give an option for InCopy trial download

I've downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant four times. It does not immediately begin my InCopy trial download, and there is no option within the assistant to begin this download. (I only want InCopy, not InDesign). What now?

The download will be initiated from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=incopy&loc=en_us and wil still utilize the Adobe Download Assistant.  If this is not working for you then please try a different web browser.

  • Why is my trial download for the Adobe Creative suite taking so long?

Hi-I have a MacOSX 10.6.8 laptop with decent internet service.I started downloading the trial for the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard in the morning and it is now 8:59 p.m. and it still says 20 hours left. This trial is only for 30 days-a day has gone by-that has taken away from my trial and learning this with the intention to buy after. What is the possible reason for this and do I get a day back in my trial?
    Thhanks for your immediate response.

Copying a solution from this doc: Troubleshoot download problems (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/152/tn_15296.html)
    Estimated download times
Many factors, such as the connection type and network traffic, affect download speed. The following table provides estimated download times for different file sizes at typical connection speeds. These estimates assume ideal network conditions. Your actual download time can be longer. For faster downloads, avoid peak hours (9am to 6pm Eastern time). Demand for downloads can also be high the first week after a  product release. Some products, typically applications that are about 1 GB or larger, require that you have a broadband Internet connection for download.
Note: When you order, look below or to the right of the Delivery Method pop-up menu for the file size and estimated download time.
