Location showing outside of US

I purchased a G45-50 last month and have been pleased so far.
In the last couple of weeks, if i want to watch a video online (from ABC for example), I have been getting an error message that indicates that because I am "showing" to be outside of the US, I am ot allowed to access the feed / stream. In addition, some of the websites reflect that I am sitting in Portugal or Brazil.
I am sitting in my home office in Raleigh, NC and haven't left the city, much less the country since purchasing the laptop. Any ideas what settings have gotten messed up, or what could be causing this? My internet/ wi-fi is through the local phone company, and my security is Avast; i can't imagine what is causing my sending "international" messages.

ASA 5505 - L2TP over IPsec - Remote Address shows outside interface address

Using an ASA 5505 for firewall and VPN. We've enabled L2TP over IPsec to allow Windows clients to connect without third party software.
The devices complete the connection and authenticate fine, but then are unable to hit any internal resources. Split tunneling seems to be working, as they can still hit outside resources. Packet tracer shows tcp flowing freely between VPN clients (192.168.102.0/24) and internal resources (192.168.100.0/24). Even the NAT translation looks good in packet tracer.
I pulled up the session details for one of the VPN clients in the ASDM and under the IPsecOverNatT details, it is showing the VPN client's remote address correctly, but displays the local address as the address assigned to the outside interface (which the client is using to connect.) This seems to be the problem, as viewing detailed connection logs shows the internal resources trying to send packets back to the outside interface rather than the VPN client's assigned internal addresses. Any ideas? The remote clients connect but when internal resources try to send traffic to the VPN clients, the packets are directed to the outside interface address instead of the local address assigned to the VPN client.

I have what I believe to be a similar issue. Site to site vpn is working well. That is site b can ping and send traffic to site A but Site A can not. Site B is a 3rd party vpn router. Site A is a Cisco 5505.
It appears that when the crypto map inserts the route into the routing table it shows the route via the outside IP of the outside interface and not the IP of Site B. in the crypto map I can see the proper ip address for the peer. I can't figure out why when it inserts the route that it uses the wrong ip address

TV Shows outside of the US?

Does anybody know when (or even if) Apple are planning on extending giving people outside the US the option of downloading TV Shows? In the UK we have the option to download Music Videos (yawn!) or Movie Trailers (yawn! yawn!).
Fair enough, we can always rip a DVD to MP4 and copy it over, but the content offered by Apple *****.

Why does my location show Huntsville,AL I live in LaVergne,TN

You likely recently received a new / different WAN (public) IP address assignment to your connection from their DHCP server / IP address pool, and the rDNS / geolocation data that is associated with it is now incorrect for you as it previously belonged to someone else that lived in that area. Comcast shuffles blocks of IP addresses around the country all the time. ISP's don't correct this. A third party service does. Unfortunately this is typically a *back-burner* thing to get corrected. The only thing that you can do is to report it. You can try this;

Html Region Background showing outside of Region

Hi, I would have assumed that if I had a html region as an URL, then it would display the full html page inside the region.
However, what actually happens is the content is inside the html region, but the background appears outside the region.
I just want the whole web page to appear in the region, in the same way as it does in my browser.
HELP!!!

The issue is some of the styles are declared inline in the html and some have specific colors assigned, your grass background being on the body background don''t override the styles at the region level, (this is specific css stuff not some bug in APEX).
You'll probably want to create a new region template and report template and strip out the class and style declarations and you might have to edit the page template a bit as well.

Why can't I hear the audio for my slide show outside of PSE 9?

I have prepared a slide show with audio in Photoshop Elements 9. It plays fine within the PSE 9 viewer, both slides and audio. However, when I try to view it on Windows Media Player, the audio does not play, though the slide show does. I am also interested in playing the slide show on my TV through a DVD player. I have converted the slide show with audio to an avi format using Free Make to allow this. Again, the slide show plays, but the audio does not. Anyone have an idea of what I am doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

What codec is your audio encoded with—what is the extension on the file, and what bitrate is the audio? Some of this information might be visible if you do a right-click Properties -> Details on the file in Windows Explorer.
It sounds like PSE9 has a private codec that can play it, but the Windows system, in general, doesn’t have a codec to support it. AVI is just an envelope for the existing video and audio. If the audio is using a non-supported codec, then wrapping it in a AVI won’t help. The audio needs to be something more universal. I’d guess that a fixed, moderate bit-rate MP3 would be supported, whereas a FLAC or very high or possibly a variable-rate bit rate MP3 wouldn’t be as universally supported.

When saving documents from word 2013, the save as dialog shows the default path under "other web locations"

it used to be in the gold ole days of sharepoint 2010 and office 2010 that when I created a document in sharepoint and saved it I would get a dialog, like this (see below) I have also attached a screen shot of the 2013 save dialog (when you save
a document for the first time).
I find it strange that the user actually has to select their "Current Folder" and also that it shows in the dialog as "other web locations" Why can't it be like in the 2010 days where it automically selects the correct location
and the user just hits save. And why does the sharepoint location show up as an "other web location". Is there anything that can be done (through office registry settings or another way) to make this less confusing for our users???

I test in SharePoint 2013 again, When I created a new document library and created a first document and clicked save as, I got a same dialog with you that "Current Folder" was under "other web locations".
But when I created a second document and from then on, when I clicked save as, I got a same dialog with myself that "Current Folder" was under "SharePoint".
As I have said, Actually, web locations contain Microsoft SkyDrive and SharePoint libraries. Even the default path under "other web locations", it will not affect the Save As function.

We have set PWB preferences View Recommendations for (Days from Today) as 10days,
But in supply/demand the datas are showing outside this time limit.For example if I saw today (04-Nov-days),only 10days from today suggested order dates order should show.But it is showing even orders in dec also.Any setup we mssed?

Get Info for alias does not show "Original" location

When I Get Info for an alias, no "Original" location shows. What must I do to see the original file location?

In addition to finding the location listed under the "General" pane of the info window (you might have to click the disclosure arrow), you can also go right to the original—meaning show it in its Finder window at the original location—by right clicking the alias and selecting "Show Original."

IMovie2013 Import media shows "clock for favorite locations content

I am trying to import any clip in the import window from favorite my desktop location and mac location shows the turning circle and i do not get to select any files ? Happened since the last MAC OS update 10.9.3. ANy place I can "reset" ?

I updated to OS 10.9.3 a few hours ago and neither iMovie nor FCP 10.1 would launch at all. TextEdit also kept crashing. I did not have the time to start troubleshooting and have now reverted to 10.9.2 from a Superduper clone I created before the update and everything so far looks OK again.
You could try deleting the iMovie preference file or logging as a guest user.
I'm now going to do what i should have done and wait until I have seen what problems are reported before updating. None of the changes in 10.9.3 are of any relevance to my set up anyway.

I never had this problem in previous versions of iPhoto.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the link to the original file.
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

My iPhoto albums won't show in Pages 5.1 (1769)

I'm trying to insert photos from iPhoto into Pages and the list of my albums doesn't appear, just the main headings. I have over 30,000 images, so please help me with what to do to fix this. See screenshot.

What versions of Pages (5.0.1/5.1), and iPhoto are you using?
I am using the older iPhoto 9.4.3 and my iPhoto Library is in my login directory Pictures folder. I can see all of my photos via the Pages v5.1 media panel. I see indented sub-categories for Library, Events, and Albums. Specific picture subfolders appear under Events, and Albums are stored internal to the iPhoto Library (package).
If I move the iPhoto Library to a different filesystem location, either outside of Pictures, or to a sub-folder within Pictures, then Pages provides an empty media panel asking for images to be added to iPhoto or Aperture. I cannot reproduce your screenshot with my current software combination, and remain reluctant to upgrade iPhoto to the latest v9.5.1 as a test.
You may need to retreat to /Applications/iWork and a prior version of Pages (if you have it still). I have no way of knowing if the older Pages and the newest iPhoto will play nice with each other.
Using Disk Uitility (shift+command+U) to verify/repair file permissions on Pages and iPhoto may resolve this — or not.
In iPhoto Preferences > General, look at the Sources setting. Mine is unchecked which places no timeframe on showing last nn months album(s). If you are sharing photos, the Sharing panel has checks for what you share. I am not using PhotoStream.

Why can't i buy tv-shows?

the only reaon i installed iTunes is so that i can buy tv-shows, but it appears that because my billing address is in sweden i don't even get tv-shows listed in the store menu! this is driving me nuts, does anyone know how to solve this or maybe a way to get around it? PLEASE help!!!!

assuming that you can get 7.0 to work--which is a big assumumption AND realizing that they have increased the size of the TV files so a 30 minute show takes 1.5 hours to download on broadband now (6.0 will no longer DL TV shows) there may be a way around it.
Legally Apple doesnt have the right to sell TV shows outside of the US. But I use a US billing address to buy the TV shows then I can dload them in Europe. Perhaps you can use paypal to but them but then connect Paypal to your Swedish bank and then they may not know where you are located. But definitely once purchased you can DL shows anywhere.
I have also heard that even with an overseas address that if you use a https proxy you can buy the TV shows with an overseas address. But I have not tried that- TOR may be a good option
