Location to download IPS software upgrade Version 7.1(5)E4

Hi,
In last month I found latest released IPS software version 7.1(5)E4 for IPS appliance 4260 on cisco site.
However it is no more available over there now can I have exact download location of the software upgrade as I want to upgrade my device with the latest release.

Cisco announced there are some problem (lockup, crash, etc) in ver. 7.1.5 today.
They have halted downloads of  7.1.5

    I have a new Ipod Nano 8GB. When I connected to Itunes it tells me that there is a new software update available for it (I think it was version 1.1). ITunes then tries to download it.
    The trouble is that I don't have broadband, and have no plans at present. My dial-up connection took over 3 hours to download ITunes when I first got the Ipod. I would be quite happy to let it take as long as that to download the software upgrade for the nano but I tried several times and the line kept dropping.
    Is it available anywhere as a stand-alone download? (I can download using another machine I have access to which cannot have itunes installed on it)

    If y are getting an error that yu can't contact the update server then:
    Update Server
    Try:
    - Powering off and then back on your router.
    - iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
    - Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
    Public DNS — Google Developers
    OpenDNS IP Addresses
    - For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
    - Try on another computer/network
    - Wait if it is an Apple problem
    Otherwise why can't our download the update?

    They don't have the music on their computer so they cannot transfer the iTunes folder, from the computer to their iPod and then to the new computer. And if they try to enable disk use on the iPod it will erase all the music that is on it. The method you cited is moving the files in a data format using the iPod as a flash drive. It doesn't work if they are in music format. That is why I suggested Yamipod.

    I'm still having this issue. I also had the same issue when trying to download a large update for an app (43MB). I can download and install smaller udpates but I can't even download the large updates. I've checked all of my firewall settings and they are fine. I've turned off the firewall when trying to download the update and it still does not work. It just keeps saying that my network connection timed out.
    I'm not at the stage where I can't install new apps because it requires the latest OS version on my iphone which I can't get!

    I am attempting to upgrade my Iphone from version 3.1.2. to version 4.2., I have version 10.1.1. of Itunes installed on my MacBook Pro. Each attempt to download the software has failed. It reads syncing on my phone and shows the progress bar on my laptop, but no progress is made. I have tried multiple times, for various lengths of time and have restarted the laptop twice. To make matters more frustrating I cannot access any apps on my Iphone now! Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

    I finally discovered the solution, my phone was not authorized to be linked to my computer.
    To resolve this I went to Store Tab at the very top of the screen and clicked on Authorize This Computer. After this was done my phone downloaded the 4.2 software and all of my apps returned.

    Actually itunes quits before i can agree to the licence agreement.
    are you getting absolutely no error messages whatsover? are you seeing similar behavior when you try to launch your QuickTime?
    if so, check for a Qoologic adware infestation on your PC. the free trial version of Ewido has been catching and killing that for most folks:

    Hi. My iPad 2 will not complete the download and install of the iso 6.1.2 software upgrade to fix the calendar exchange that is draining battery. It goes through the process and then just says there is an error but does not indicate the error. Any ideas gratefully accepted.
    Also I don't know if it is connected but  it also will  not download new apps or iBook I purchased. Please assist if you can.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off the router and then power it back on
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to rejoin all networks

  • CAN'T DOWNLOAD JANUARY SOFTWARE UPGRADE!!

    hey so ok this is what's happening.
    before we start YES I have updated to both ipod touch software 1.1.3. AND to itunes 7.6!
    I plug in my iPod, open iTunes, and go to the iTunes store. I click on the "January software upgrade" link on the store's homepage, and it takes me to a white page with pictures of iPod touch, descriptions of the new apps and features, icons for them, and a list of system requirements. A message in red text says "Connect iPod touch and click 'check for updates' before installing the January software upgrade". Umm but I already did! Also, at the bottom of the page of the left and right sides of the page are buttons saying "no thanks" and "remind me later" respectively.
    There is no option anywhere on the page to purchase the upgrade. What gives?

    I seem to be having the same problem as others. I have purchased the software but cannot get any further. It will not appear in the purchased box under store. I have spoken to Apple and they were no help whatsoever. I am getting really hacked off. Would you walk into a shop buy something and then be told sorry you cannot have it, email us and tell us what your problem is. MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE PURCHASED SOMETHING AND I CANNOT HAVE IT..........     Is upgrade from 6.3.4 to 7.2.2 allowed and work well or i should upgrade like this: 6.3.4->7.0.x->7.1.x->7.2.x ?
    in release notes for 7.2 i found:
    The minimum software version required before performing an upgrade to PIX Version 7.1 is
    PIX Version 7.0. If you are running a PIX version prior to PIX Version 6.2, you must first upgrade
    to PIX Version 6.2 or PIX Version 6.3 before you can begin the upgrade to PIX Version 7.0.
    no words about 7.2 :)
    i think that 7.2 automaticaly convert my 6.3.x commands. I am right, am i ?
    is any successfully stories about 6.3 to 7.2 upgrade (without 7.0 or 7.1 software) ?

    I did a bunch of 6.3(5) to 7.2(x) upgrades, but I did them differently than how you want to. I backed up my 6.3 config then installed a fresh image of 7.2 code. After that, I copied/pasted the old config section by section into the newly upgraded PIX. This might take a little longer (how long depends on the complexity of your current config), but in the end, you have a cleaner migration.
    There are some instances where you can't simply copy/paste, so you will have to enter some commands such as the following:
    interface config
    conduits should be converted to ACL's
    no more fixup commands
    and vpn tunnel groups.
    I believe if you copy/paste in existing vpn configs, the 7.2 code will automagically convert them to the new syntax for you...i think.

  • Torch lockup on downloadin​g software upgrade

    I tried downloading a software upgrade a few hours ago using my laptop and Blackberry Desktop Manager. The download froze part way through and now I'm unable to connect the phone to the laptop & all the phone will do is display the Blackberry platform 5.1.532 menu and an error message: uncaught exception net. rim device.api. i18n. missing resource exception.
    Not sure where to go from here. Any ideas? Since I can't get past the menu list on the phone screen I can't do anything via the phone & since the laptop won't conect with / recognise the phone I can't try reinstalling via Descktop Manager.

    I'm not quite clear what happened...the download is one step, followed by installation to the PC, followed finally by installation to the BB. You only said "download", but the subsequent things you said don't correlate with the actual download being where it got stuck. So I'm a little bit lost. So I think perhaps you should start over.
    The simplest way is to, on a PC (you cannot do this on MAC):
    1) Make sure you have a current and complete backup of your BB...you can find complete instructions via the link in my auto-sig below.
    2) Uninstall, from your PC, any BB OS packages
    3) Make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    4) Download and install, to your PC, the BB OS package you desire:

    It is sorted first by carrier -- so if all you want are the OS levels your carrier supports, your search will be quick. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To truly seek out the most up-to-date OS package for your BB, you must dig through and find all carriers that support your specific model BB, and then compare the OS levels that they support.
    5) Delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
    6a) For changing your installed BB OS level (upgrade or downgrade), you can launch the Desktop Software and connect your BB...the software should offer you the OS package you installed to your PC.
    6b) Or, for reloading your currently installed BB OS level as well as for changing it, bypass the Desktop Software and use LOADER.EXE directly, by proceeding to step 2 in this process:

    Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC.
    If, during the processes of 6a or 6b, your BB presents a "507" error, simply unplug the USB cord from the BB and re-insert it...don't do anything else...this should allow the install to continue.
    You may also want to investigate the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe it is capable of.
    You may also want to try the "Bare Bones OS Reload Procedure" to attempt to narrow down the precise causal item:
    Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
    If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
    If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
    Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
    If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
    Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents
    When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.
    If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.
    If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.
    You may also need the use of these tricks:

    If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:

  • Can't install software upgrade to iTouch with 1.1.4.

    I recently acquired an 16 GB iTouch that already had version 1.1.4, and I purchased the January 1.1.4 software upgrade to get email, etc.
    I can see the purchase for the upgrade in my account, but it won't install the upgrade to my iTouch because of an unknown error OxE8000001. I restored the iTouch, but that didn't help. Every time I sync, I get the same error message.
    Can anyone help with this?
    I have read the help notes on the website; I'm on the home computer I normally sync on, I have iTunes 7.6, etc.

    Well, I was hesitant to do that, since all the Apple info on the web said that you had to be logged into the account in which you purchase the software upgrade.

    It suggested that if all else failed, try: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings
    When I did that and restarted and sync'd, it finally downloaded by software upgrade!! Hooray! It only took me about 5 hours to accomplish this! Thanks for your help, Scott!

  • Down-loading software upgrades is being limited by "server timed out"

    My broadband connection is of modest speed as I live many miles from the Telephone Exchange. When I attempt to download Apple software upgrades, say of 50 mb, I get cut off after about 12 mb with a message" sever timed out code -1001". When I make a second attempt, I have to start again "at the beginning" rather than continue at the point where the last attempt failed.
    Grateful for any advice (apart from being told to move house nearer the Telephone Exchange!) I am only just computer literate.

    EdWeidman by default the download will be saved to your Download folder.  I do not know the exact name of the file which was provided to you.
