Locations are locked, pls help.

i went to Privacy->Locations, locations are on and i cant turn it off or turn other apps on/off.
what do i do?

Your friend needs to remove the activation lock. You can do nothing about it.

Contact the carrier the devices are locked to. Apple has nothing to do with this and will not unlock any iPhone for end users.
If the carrier offers unlocking and you meet their requirements, they will then submit the information to Apple to have the device unlocked.

I am seeing if I can get another battery even though I do not believe that is the issue. It keeps giving me vdd_under which I believe is under voltage, maybe it is just a faulty battery? It charges up like normal and functions normal (when plugged in, or above 90%) but it gives under voltage warnings and shuts down when in heavy use (using camera or going back and forth to imessage). When just sitting idle it doesn't seem to turn off until that 55-60% mark. It may just be a faulty battery because I feel I installed all of the other cables correctly when replacing the screen, and I don't think those connections should affect the battery anyway except for maybe the logic board cable (the 2nd cable to be unplugged after the battery cable) I guess I could clean that out as well with isopropyl just in case.
Any other suggestions would be helpful... and I will get back to you if a new battery helps. Thanks!

pls help..
while executing some of our remote function module we encountered some locking error.. the message returned by SAP is :
A system error has occurred while locking
from message class : M3 #021
the remote function module is running bapi_goodsmvt_create in background..
the question is.. why this error occured and how to solve it ? and what is the root cause.. ?
because the error is only happened once (until now) we cannot simulate to get the error again.. so it is hard to find out the root cause..

I am also having the same problem. I am running the BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CHANGECOUNT' to count the Articles.
When I print the error on screen, some the data shown as counted. Some are not changed and some with the following error.
System error while locking the data
Furthermore I went to the BASIS and saw that when we run this particular program its showing the locks on MARC and several tables with the same System ID from which we run the program
Can anyone come up ? Its getting too hard to resolve.

Books are missing- pls help

Hi - I recently backed up my ipad , then reset it to default settings, now after restoring it on iTunes - I can't find my book and PDF collection in iBooks . Pls help

A backup on your computer's iTunes doesn't include the contents of the iBooks app. Did you do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy your iTunes purchases (that would also copy PDFs and epubs if they were in the iBooks app) over to your computer's iTunes prior to resetting it ? If you did then your books and PDFs should be in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library (or the iBooks app if you are using a Mac with OS X Mavericks on it) - in which case you should be able to sync them back to your iPad.
If you don't have them on your computer then you should (if they are still in your country's store) be able to redownload your ibooks via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. For your PDFs do you have them anywhere on your PC and/or on a backup drive ?

Put the folder into the trash - go to the Finder menu and hold down the alt key whilst selecting Empty Trash.
I've never tried this with a folder full of locked files, but it certainly works with a single locked file.

HD went bad and my folders are locked. Help?!

SITUATION
Ok, I am currently booted up on an external hd of another user. My internal hd will not boot up so this is my only option. I am trying to recover/access files so that I can simply drag them on this bootable external hd so that I can in turn drag them back onto the hd that replaces this bad internal hd. Obviously I do not have a back up. I have alot of photos and various other files I want.
THE PROBLEM:
When I open the hd I see all of the folders for the users. However, the folders are LOCKED and I cannot open them nor drag them. I click on get info and check mark shared and try to change the read and write priveledges and they are grey and unable to be changed. I NEED TO KNOW how to unlock these so that I can drag these and save these.
Note: I have purchased disk warrior as well and I have rebuilt the directory on the source drive. These folders are appearing to be locked in DW preview as well.

All networks in Airport dropdown menu are locked. They have the closed lock symbol beside them. How do I unlock them so that I can change the security settings. They are currently WPA Personal. I need them to be WPA2 Personal and can't change them.

I'm using a linksys wcg200, so "passphrase" doesn't work for me with apple using a different algorithm to generate them. I have to use the actual WEP key. If I prefix the WEP key with 0x, it still doesn't work. I just bought this machine today, and it came with 10.4 installed. I was able to connect to the Linksys before I did a clean install, but now I can't provide the password (it doesn't like the WEP key as the password).

So I reinstalled OS X Panther on my Powerbook, upgraded to Tiger, downloaded all the recent updates, patches, etc... and went to open Dreamweaver (web design software) and it displays a keychain window that says "Dreamweaver requires that you type your password". This has appeared on several programs, so I entered the password, just as I did on the others, but this time it disappears for a moment and then pops back up. I did it probably ten times and had no different results. My daignoses is that the permissions are messed up somehow. Can anyone help? Please!

Firstly, welcome to the Forum.
I don't think it's a permission issue - perhaps a corrupted keychain file. Have you tried launching keychain utility in Utilities and running first aid? You could also trash the keychain in youruser/Library/Keychains. A new one will be created automatically and perhaps the problem will go away.

If it's turned off, then the Find My iPhone service will not track its location. Also, it won't work even if turned on if you never activated the Find My iPhone service in settings.
Aside from Find My iPhone, there's no other way to track a lost device.

Take 3 fingers and, all at the same time, double tap the screen. This will reset the size back to normal. I had the same problem a few weeks ago, Good Luck, Ron

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required.
If you cannot get this information from the seller
Removing a device from a previous owner’s account
You need to return the Device for a refund, as you will not be able to re-activate it.
