Lock a tcode for particular user

Hi Experts
i need to lock few transaction for particular users only. we have n number of roles and the transactions have been assigned to some tcodes to be reasticted for a list of users. is there any method or program to built to restrict the users for few tcodes.is there any more query pl trigger me

as you said if i start creating roles to restrict some users then there atleast 25 tcodes are there to restrict and 120 roles are to be analyzed and the job becomes hefty by creating roles and there will too many number of roles and it becomes confusion in future forecast. there fore i nedd any suggestion like that the userscan be restricted when they are trying to access that particular code or lock the screen or inform them to not access these tcodes thro some message or writing a program to restrict the users while the user exits. i have an idea but i dont know how it will work - ( I am not a ABAPER) there should be tcode or program which should list tcodes authorized for particular users and where they can be locked like SM01 ( but it will lock for all) but locking for particular users
Am i more advanced??

This message will appear if either the background jobs are not scheduled, or UWL cannot tell that the background jobs are scheduled. The message no longer appears once you ensure the background jobs are scheduled to run via the user id UWL_SERVICE and that user is mapped to my portal user ID UWL_SERVICE.

Hello,
We have webi report in 3.1 version which is running fine in Infoview for particular user.
But when same report is send into Inbox of other user and if user try to run it in infoview it is giving below error.
"No data to retrieve in Query 1"
All the security and group member level settings for both the user are exactly same. What could be the reason for this behaviour.

Can you please check user is part of which group in enterprise receipts group.
Also please check dynamic receipts tab of publication where data can be filtered

IW32- order-print is giving error for particular User.

Menu Exclusion for particular users

Hi All,
I don't think there is a way for my requirement but still want to check with you all if I can get any other solutions for this.
For a custom responsibility can we exclude the Menu items for particular users. For example the menu items are Reports1, Reports2. User1 should only have access to Reports1 and user 2 for Reports2. Can we do it by any profile options or how to achieve this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can you please confirm whether you wish to exclude menu or reports.
But anyway that being requested, if you wish to exclude a specific menu only to a particular user whilst having them to other user is not possible unless you create a different menu and assign it to a new responsibility and then assign it the user.
The same is applicable to the reports, but the same layout should be followed on request groups.

Prohibit traffic for particular users ASA5505

I've read following guide how to use MPF and Regex.

What my question is how should the ASA know which user is now surfing in the web. Does the IE or Mozilla sends the usercredentials in the webstream ? How can the ASA extract from the HTTP traffic which user is now surfing.
Is MPF and Regex really working to prohibit traffic for particular users?
I dont think so, the only solution in my opinion is to use a proxy server.

Hi Patrick,
I think you answered your question from the start. ASA's can do deep HTTP inspection by inspecting MIME types and looking for REGEX strings. However, like you pointed out, unless that string specifically has the user credentials or you can implement a REGEX to pull a consistent string your not going to be able to proxy your user traffic.
I have implemented HTTP Inspect Policy-Maps to restrict access to specific sites and I implemented the REGEX syntax to pull the URL strings. I have only implemented on very rare occasions in the event the client didn't have a proxy and specific comprimise was communicating to a site or entity that had multiple Layer 3 destinations.

MM01 tcode for SD user with restriction to SD related codes only

How can we assign MM01 Authorisation for SD user with a restriction that he can access only SD RELATED MATERIAL ONLY ?, Why because the material master is same for MM Module and SD Module Product Master also.
There is no listing for Material Group parameter in the Material Object
Material Type Object : M_MATE_MAR
Material Object : M_MATE_MAT

First of all, let me say Sorry for the late reply to your post.
I have gone through the objects you have told to that particular SD User.
He have been already assigned those objects. But one thing I have observer
here is the authorisation object you have given M_MATE_WGR
contains 2 parameters those are
(01) Activity 01, 02, 03
(02) Authorization Group
The above said (02) parameter does not contains any data to select in its dropdown box. I think functional people does not created material groups
while doing configuration part.
So, here I can not distinguish the material whether it related to SD Module OR MM Module. And can not restrict user's to access TCode MM01 basing on their module related material only. Am I right ????

Mysite is not opening for particular user

We have configured User profile service application with permission to create mysite in our environment. One particular user is not able to open mysite. When try to open mysite it generate an unexpected error message and given correlation ID. When followed
the log file with reference to correlation ID. I found following error in ULS.
My Site: PersonalSpaceRedirect: Unknown error: System.Threading.ThreadAbortException: Thread was being aborted.
at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.PersonalSpaceRedirect.RedirectToPublicPage(SPWeb web)
at Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.PersonalSpaceRedirect.LoadControl(Object sender, EventArgs a).
Please notice that this is for a single user so we dont to recreate the user profile service application for restore database. Any help is higly appreciated.

I am having the same issue. I traced it to a problem with the Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.WebControls.PersonalSpaceRedirect part on default.aspx. I'm still not sure what the underlying issue is, though. This is in SharePoint 2013 SP 1.

Create a role, insert the transaction to be used, the user with this profile and assign the correct authorizations.
You have to use the authorization object F_BKPF_BLA that is the Authorization for Document Types.
View Report : Authorization for Viewing report
Activity All activities
Authorization Group XXXX
So the user with this Role and Profile can only view a document with a Document type with a specific Autorization Group XXXX(V_T003-BRGRU).

please, how can I found out which jobs run under particular user's authority?
I don't need the job list for user which I can enter on input screen in SM37 into field "User". I need the list of jobs, in which particular user is entered in jobs' step. During the setting up of the job in SM36 there can be entered different user, under whose authority the job runs, and this user can be different from author of the job visible in SM37. I need the list of jobs where particular user was entered in jobs' step in SM36.

All the lists in SharePoint inherits permission from its site. To hide a list from a user or a group what you can do is break permission inheritance at the particular list level.
1) Go to List and then click List Settings from the Ribbon.
2) Under permissions and management click Permissions for this list
3) Click Stop Inheriting Permission from the Ribbon
4) Remove User or Group that you do not want to share that list with.
