Lock Indicator for appraisals

Hello,
Can someone suggest me the table where the lock indicator for an appraisal doc be saved.
When I open an appraisal document, i get a message saying that "Appraisal has been locked by you"... can you please suggest me where exactly the thing is saved.

Hi,
If you want to view and unlock it, use PHAP_ADMIN you will find the lock/unlock option under 'Goto' -> 'Locked Appraisal Documents'.
The other way of doing it is through function module HRHAP_SHOW_LOCKED_DOCUMENTS run it with or without an add on application (PA,LSO etc)

Lock indicator for Profit Centers

Hello,
I have a problem with the Transaction KCH5n, KE52 and KE5X. If I change the Lock indicator for Profit Centers in the Transaktion KCH5n I can not see the changing of that indicator within the report KE5X. The lock indicator is still as it was before that changing. Furthermore, I have the same result in table CEPC - no changing.
However, if I make the changing in Trx KE52 I can see it in all Trx's and tables.
Does somebody has had that problem before as well and know a solution

Have you activated it after you locked it? First it goes to inactive status. In KCH5N once you have set the indicator, the activation status goes red. Select that profit center and then click on activate icon. A dialog box appears with the check box enabled for that changed profit center. Click on green tick icon to activate.

"Drag" and "Drag lock" indicator for the trackpad (mouse) cursor

Anyone know how to get a "Drag" and "Drag lock" indicator for the trackpad (mouse) cursor. When using the track pad, I'm often finding that my final click does not release the item I was dragging and then I inadvertently drag it across my screen, as I go to my next function. Would be nice if there was some type of indicator that would pop up on the cursor so you knew when drag lock is active.

Idiot question - How do I re-install Leopard? No matter what I do, it kicks the disk out on restart. I have tried using the 'install' command on the disk, nothing. It kicks the disk out and boots from the hard drive. I have tried rebooting holding down the 'c' key to force it to read from the drive, it still kicks the disk out and boots from the hard drive. What else should I do?

Someone suggested a solution involving permissions. I fixed my permissions. Drag and drop is still not working.
There was also a set of commands to type into terminal that would supposedly fix the issue, or perhaps it was a Spotlight issue that the thread had morphed into. I did that. Drag and drop is still not working.
Am I just totally hosed? Help!

Drag lock indicator for trackpad (mouse) cursor

G510 Caps Lock/Num Lock indicator

Hi!
Is there any way Lenovo can create a simple program for Caps Lock/Num Lock indicator for G510? There is practically no way of determining if Num Lock is enabled or not, only by testing manually.
Would love to have that kind of app.

There are several free third party applications that will accomplish the same thing. Basically the application loads at Startup and places indicators for the Caps Lock and Num Lock down in the Tray or on your Desktop.

Authorization OBject for Delete and Lock indicator in PO function.

I'm using sap 5.0. I'm notice that we can set the authorization object to control the user from make a action for delete/Lock indicator in purchase order so that we can prevent the 'unpredictable user' from do the deletion on item PO item.
it also help me to authorize the selected user to perform delete or lock action.

To prevent deletion or locking in specifically may not be controlled thro authorisation but changing the PO can be controlled.For this the authorisation objects M_BEST_BSA, M_BEST_EKG,M_BEST_EKO,M_BEST_WRK may be looked into .Here against Activity there is option like create,change ,delete,print etc which if suitably assigned can restrict the users for certain activity.Try with your basis team in this objects.

How to set Blocking Indicator for product specific TransportationLanes?

I'm facing a problem while trying to set the blocking indicator for product specific Transportation Lanes-external procurement.
How can i proceed on the same?
I've figured out 2 methods for blocking the product specific TLanes.
1. using /SAPAPO/TR_TL_TRANSFER_BAPI.
2. using BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI.
I tried using the BAPI - /SAPAPO/TR_TL_TRANSFER_BAPI, which comes inside the DELETE BAPI - BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_DELMULTI. Although I had passed the parameters reg. external procurement, nothing seemed to be happening in the system. There was no blocking indicator - D(locked and flagged for deletion) set against the subjected TLane. In fact, to my amazement, the BAPI didn't return even a single msg. BAPIRETURN internal table after execution was empty.
Here, I'm passing:
(IV_LOGQS) TYPE /SAPAPO/LOGQS
(IV_LOGSYS) TYPE LOGSYS
(IV_CALLER) TYPE /SAPAPO/MD_CALLER
(IT_TR) TYPE /SAPAPO/TR_TTD_TR
(IT_TR_X) TYPE /SAPAPO/TR_TTX_TR
(IT_TRPROD_SRC) TYPE /SAPAPO/TR_TTD_TRPROD_SRC and
(IT_TRPROD_SRC_X) TYPE /SAPAPO/TR_TTX_TRPROD_SRC
I haven't tried on the second method yet. Is there any other programming alternative for setting the blocking indicator of a TLane / multiple Tlanes?
Could anyone pls explain and guide me on a suitable method to be chosen and the process to be followed, parameters to be passed, etc.

Use the standard BAPI: BAPI_TRLSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI2 (according to SCM version you are using)
to update the deletion flag for product specific T-lane, in this BAPI you have to pass the data to EXTERNAL_PROCUREMENT parameter table in which LOCKED_FLG field is there in which you can pass the "D" for deletion or block flag.
Also you have to pass the same entries in EXTERNAL_PROCUREMENT_X parameter table of this BAPI.
If any further help required, refer the documentation of BAPI or let me know.

What is the significance of LOCK INDICATOR in IT0006?

has anyone used lock indicator in IT0006? for what requirement is it used? what is its significance?
what r the implications? does it used for any specific HR process? Where else do we find lock indicators in HR master data?

The Lock indicator will make the record not available even though it will be stored in the database table.
This is useful when you need to validate data before it is available in system.
For e.g. In ESS you may allow Family / Dependent data to be entered by employee. Some companies need proof of relationship before they allow Family data to be stored in the system. In this scenario, the Family / Dependent record can be in Locked mode till the employee provides the relevant proof of relation. On getting the proof, HR can unlock the record to be available in the system.

can someone please help me before i pull all of my hair out.
i have windows vista - 64 bit - the HP IQ500 touchsmart with a wireless keyboard.
in the systray the num caps and scroll lock appears as little blue boxes (when on).
everynow and again they simply disapper.
i researced how to activate them again but cant remember how to do it.
there is a way without having to mess with the registry and without downloading any program
i just cant remember how. i know wherever it is...you ultimately get 3 boxes that you can check in order to turn the options back on.
i am not talking about toggling, or sound, or mscofig and then boot.
does anyone know the steps to turn the caps scroll and num lock indicator in teh sys tray back on
oh, and right clicking on the toolbar and going to the notificiation area is not what i am referring to either.
I checked in the control panel programs and the hp on screen caps lock indicator etc program is there.
I reinstalled it nonetheless and confirmed it is installed properly
When I right click on the notification area I do to properties/notification area/customize
There are two lists there
1. Current Items and
2. Past Items
For some reason I see caps lock - scroll lock and num lock under the past items
There you are also able to change the status of the items to either Hide wne active, hide or show
All three (caps/num/scroll) are SHOW
I click apply OK then apply
I restart the computer and nothing. The on screen caps lock indicator is still not in the notification area/systray area
I repeat teh steps to ensure that the three have the SHOW option chosen and they are.
So....
Program is installed
Items are check for SHOW
Restart was done
Ohhh and also...I went to MSCONFIG and made sure that the HP Keyboard Program was selected/check mark as one of the start up programs.
There in a run command to activiate the 3rd party program (hp onscreen indicator program)
When you enter the run command that I cant remember...you then get this option where there are three check boxes...one next to num lock - one next to caps lock and one for scroll lock.
Once you check/select the boxes/options you want...presto they appear in the sys tray/notification area.
I just cant remember the run command it to save my life.
Please....put my mind to ease...cause I am losing it!

Y2P dim screen, caps lock indicator stuck on. Already disabled adaptive brighness... Warranty?

Hi guys. Recently bought my second Y2P, this one second hand.
Reason being my previous one was the 4GB i5 model, this one is the 8GB i7
Now I've noticed a few things when I compare them. Firstly, and most annoyingly, the screen on this one is significantly dimmer than on my previous one. When I put it it max brightness it's only a little brighter than half way on my older one. When I put the brightness all the way down the screen turns off...
I''ve already disabled auto dim in the battery settings, windows setting AND intel graphics control panel so I'm sure it's not down to that. I'm running the updated BIOS on both the systems also. This is unbelievably frustrating.
Another annoying thing is that the CAPS lock indicator light is always on. Apart from when I press a button, it turns off whilst anything is being pressed (on the keyboard). It does this as soon as the machine is switched on.
BIOS setting have been reverted to standard etc and nothing seems to be fixing any of it. I have also done a full reset of the machine on numerous occasions. Nothing.
One last niggle is that I've noticed that the touchpad is ever so slightly sunk in (something that I probably only noticed because I have another yoga to compare it to) and there is some play in the touchpad which I would have noticed this regardless.
Is it time to contact Lenovo warranty team?
Sorry for the long post, and I'd really appreciate any advice!

Just to keep the thread updated in case by any chance someone has similar problems...
I've contacted Lenovo who are saying it's likely a motherboard issue, I'll be getting a letter with details of how to arrange a courier to collect the system within the next few days. I'll let y'all know what comes of it!

Profit center lock indicator has no effect

Hi all,
I have following situation:
A cost center X is assigned to a Profit center Y. Profit centre Y has status "Inactive:change" and is valid from 01-01-2002 to 31-12-2008. Also, the lock indicator has been set and the assignment to company code 0011 has been de-activated.
Cost centre X is valid from 01-01-2008 to 31-12-9999.
I would expect that:
1) It would not have been possible to assign profit center Y to cost center X due to the limited validity date of profit center Y
2) Posting to cost center X (and profit center Y) would lead to an error message for documents with a posting date in 2009
However, SAP allows me to assign profit center Y and make postings in 2009 without a problem. The help texts and several notes I found all suggest my expected system behaviour. So am I doing anything wrong or how can I prevent assignment of profit center Y and postings being made to it in 2009?

Hello,
If you have created a profit center in inactivate status, they system cannot read the details of the same and you are not able to assign the same to a Cost Center.
If the lock indicator is being set in profit center, you cannot use the cost center to which the locked profit center is being assigned. It will stop you at the time of posting the FI journal.
If you have removed the check box for a company code in profit center, it will stop you from being posted to the cost center to which the profit center, where the tick for company code has been removed.
Only profit centers which are in active state can be assigned to a cost center.
If you have locked a profit center and trying to assign the same to a cost center, the system throws the warning message at the time of assignment. But, however, you can further proceed with that.
If the validity period of the profit center is 01.01.2008 to 31.12.2008 and assigned to a cost center, in turn you are using that cost center as an real assignment object, it will stop from being posted the document, stating that the profit center is not valid for that period.
Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

PO Output Message Record - Locked indicator is ticked

Requirement: Create the output message records automatically, when PO is created/changed and saved.
Current Setting: Condition records(MN04) for the repsective output type are maintained. Output message record is created automatically and allows the printing when the PO's are created.
Issue: Output message records are created and trigerred when the PO's are created but there is an issue when the PO's are changed. Whe the PO is changed, output message record is getting created but it couldnot be processed as the Locked indicator is set for some reason.
Please guide me if I had missed any of the settings which is stopping me here at this point.

Scroll Lock Indicator Stuck

Hi Folks,
This occassionally happens to me: the little black scroll lock indicator won't turn off. It's functional, and I can switch scroll lock on and off, but the little black window just won't go away! Any help?

Thanks Colonel! Here's a little bat file I wrote to make it easy. For those unfamiliar with bat files, just save this code in a file, name it whatever you want, but make sure its extension is ".bat". For example, name it scroll_lock_restart.bat. Then just double-click to run it.
