Lock NAC Agent in Task Bar

I would like to lock the NAC Agent in the task bar so that users can't exit out of the agent. Anyone have any ideas or ways to do this in the registry. Users do not have admin rights to the computer and can still exit out of agent.

But then again, what is the advantage for the user to disable the agent. If they disable it, they won't be able to access the network.
So it would be in their best interest to leave it enabled

Well then the screen definitely isn't locked.
i wonder of you close all pas in the task bar if that would help. Maybe you have an app that is causing the screen to stay locked. Try that and as if that does any good.
Double tap the home buttons and hold down on any icon until they all wiggle. Then start closing them all by tapping the minus signs. Tap the home button when you are done. Restart the iPad and then try again.

Windows task bar locks when .vi is running

The Windows task bar locks when the .vi is running.
How do I enable the windows task bar so I can multi-task when my .vi is running? Is this new with LabVIEW7?

Thanks Allen, I thought you may have had the answer as I do have a clock function running all the time, but I have a delay in that loop. I figured out what is going wrong. If I maximize the .vi, then the task bar will not function when the .vi is running. So, I did not maximize the .vi, and chose 'Size the front panel to the width and height of the entire screen' on the Window Size category under vi properties, and the task bar now works when the .vi is running. I feel that I should be able to have the front panel maximized, and still use the task bar. I do have 'Always on top' selected in my Start/Settings/Taskbar options. Thanks!

Task bar locked?

Some Internet searches have a lock on the task bar not allowing access to the information ( for example a hotel site I recently tried to get info from). How can I unlock this on my iPad?

If you are referring to the little lock next to the greyed https in hte address bar that is indicating you are on a secured site.

You have the lock icon towards the top right of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If you do then which iPad do you have ? If it's not the iPad Air 2 then you should have a Settings > General > Use Side Switch To option which controls what the switch on the side of the iPad, above the volume control does - if that is set to 'Lock Rotation' then you use that switch on the side to turn rotation on/off
If there isn't a lock icon at the top right then try a soft-reset and see if that gets the iPad to rotate again : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Lock icons appear twice in notification area of task bar

I just got my touchsmart IQ546t. I've noticed sometimes the caps, num, and scroll lock icons in the notificaiton area of the taskbar appear twice. Not sure if it is something to do with the wireless keyboard or not. For now I hid them, but I would like to fix it.

Which tasks are not present in the taskbar area?
As far as I know if the application was started as a background process it doesnt occur in the task bar.
Furthermore possibly during the installation some programs ask you if you want create the icon in the task bar.

Using internet banking the gold security lock is missing from bottom right task bar

I am disturbed that the 'safe & secure ' gold padlock symbol that usually appears when using Internet Banking is no longer down near the bottom right Task Bar area. I always log in via the 'Address Bar'. Any reason ? Many thanks.

Ideally you should focus on the new identity button that is explained in the previous posts.
However, there is an addon that adds the padlock icon to Firefox 4. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/padlock-icon/
Because the status bar at the bottom of the window is no longer shown by default, this addon displays the padlock inside the identity button. For users who are trained to look for a padlock, this might help them to move their attention to the new identity button.

Task Bar Lock Up

Hello All,
My task bar on screen shows all A's inside square boxes instead of the normal commands. Additionally all drop down menus show the same symbols rather than the normal text.
Re-booting was no help.

As for Updating the OS from the Software Update menu, I can't view the menu since is is replaced with those same A symbols, I can't navigate my way around the menu but I have been updating my software every time I get update reminders. Greg

I like having the tab bar at the bottom of the screen; I use the task bar AT THE BOTTOM to switch between programs, so I want the the tab bar AT THE BOTTOM to switch between web pages. The only way I've found to get the tab bar at the bottom of the screen is the extension Tab Mix Plus. I used it for a long time, and it worked great.
Unfortunately, when I recently updated to Firefox 14.0.1, I encountered an error: I could no longer middle-click on a link to open it in a new tab (which I do ALL the time). After some troubleshooting, I found that it was being caused by some incompatibility between Firefox 14.0.1 and Tab Mix Plus; upon removing Tab Mix Plus, my middle-clicking was back to normal.
But without Tab Mix Plus, I'm back to having the tab bar at the top of the screen. I've searched and searched, and I can't find anything besides Tab Mix Plus that will let me put the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. I've found tons of stuff about the option "tabs on top", but that has to do with putting the tab bar above/below the navigation bar--it's still at the top of the SCREEN either way.
What can I do?

I have a requirement where my application need to be accessed through the tray icon in OS. I have created my application as an installer and on executing, the application is opened and shown in task bar as well as in icon tray.
Is there any way to not to show the task bar icon and only access the application with tray icon.? ( Like Stickies app)

ISe with NAC agent pop up and Posture waiting

I have ISE running ver 1.1.1.268. We limited access certain services before authuenticate with ACL-DEFAULT(given below) as per the Trustsec desgin guide.
Now the issue is that when you have ACL-DEFAULT on the port NAC agent doest not pop-up and doest not start the posture part and saying waiting for Posture validation. When the ACL-DEFAULT removed from the access port NAC agent popup and do the posture validation.
However we do not want user to get access to network before the authorization and that is the reason we use the ACL-DEFAULT.
Please can someone advise me how to achieve the above both task. Why the NAC agent does not popup and do the posture when ACL-DEFAULT there in the switch.
Here is what I have configured on ACL-DEFAULT.

We have already allowed those ports with another acl (ACL-POSTURE-REDIRECT). Our issue is not with the web nac agent.
The issue is with NAC agent installed on corperate PCs connecting via wired port. With the ACL-DEFAULT it does not pop-up and does not do the posturing, however once we removed the ACL-DEFAULT from the access port, everything works fine.
Since we do not want any user to access unwanted services before authorization we add this ACL on the access-port and as per the trustsec desgin this has to be there if you want to have ISE with closed mode.

Custormizing the NAC agent profile

Hi,
We need to have very minimal user intervention while doing the completing the posture part on NAC agent on user PC.
Can someone please advise how to achieve the below task.
1) Automatically accept the Network usage policy before its timeout (50 sec) expired (if the timeout expired it will go to "Deny Network Access" state as it assume that clicking "Reject" button (attached screen1)
2) we need to keep all the posture pop-up, verification timings.

NAC Agent issues

Hi guys,
We are encountering several problems with regards to the NAC Agent. We are deploying AD SSO and for some reason, on the same switch other hosts are performing SSO correctly and others are being prompted for a user name and password by the NAC agent even though the hosts are all logging in the same domain. Do you guys have any idea on how to go about this problem?

I have deployed NAC as OOB REAL IP gateway mode and it is working fine over LAN.
Once I enabled the L3 functionality to connect remote site after that local user is being certified through WEB LOGIN.
But NAC pop up is not reflecting to supply the username and password.
A problem occured when stoping the NAC agent services" Agent has been terminated due to unexpected error. please restart your machine."
Note- No ACL is configured till yet
I have perform following task to fix it;-
1. Restared NAC agent services.
2.Checked proxy settings.
Could you please help me out to resolve this issue?
