Lock on iPhone 5 photos
Adding photos from iPhone to computer. They downloaded with a lock on them, which didn't stop me from editing them, but am wondering why...
iPhone 5 and just put a pass code on it for protection. Is this why?

My iphone 4 photo/message auto rotation was not functioning, might be accidentally locked as I can see a locked symbol with a circle with an arroe surrounding it at the top right angle , next to the power % indicator. This function was working perfectly since day 1.
Please advise how to unlock it.Swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center. You will then find the orientation lock in the top row, last icon on the right. White is on, black is off. Tap and turn it off. If you see the lock symbol, then orientation lock is on, and that is what is keeping it in the portrait mode.

I can't figure out how to transfer my albums on my iphone to photo stream so that I can see them on my apple computer. It did not automatically sync.

But this is what you want basically.
Router, new Wireless N, firmware updated.
1: Two accounts, one admin, one guest Internet access. Random +30 plus character lenght passwords each preferred.
(guest password to max password length of any iDevices)
2: Encryption: WPA2 AES. No Ping. No remote access. No MAC filtering. Visible.
3: Guest access on devices and computers only. Passwords written down and stored.

If you get OpenDNS, you can log into their website for free and set parental controls on things like inappropriate sites for children. So whatever device is used on your network can't access a large portion of those sites (nothing is perfect) by most users who are not technical oriented.
What your doing now is running the bare bones unsecure router which can be used harmfully against you.
Even a Apple Airport router has to be very well secured. The defautl cd and out of the box setup is not a secure solution. -
How can i lock my iphone in a way that i won't be able to receive any incoming call nor retreive its information?
In the phrase " i wanna be able to reveive the call without being able to answer nor see who is calling" what do you mean by able to receive the call but not be able to answer it or see who is calling?

I have a problem after I lock my iphone or it is automatically locked , the time doesn't update. It just freezes at the last time of locking. Please help , it is iphone 5 running iOS7.1
I check with my service provider as well as I synchronized with iTunes , changed time manually with the right time zone. Unfortunately the problem keeps showingHi Courcoul

To tell the truth I forgot to mention that I already did what you said, even more I tried all "reset" options including:
Reset all settings
Erase All content and settings
Reset Network settings
Etc
Even
Reset location and Privacy

If you don't have Find My iPhone on, you can't lock it. You should report it to your carrier and your carrier might blacklist the phone from use. -
I have locked my iPhone 5 and forgot my password . Phone is disabled and is saying connect to iTunes ! I have tried but never did I synced my phone to any computer but when installed used iCloud how do I get it back on???

Those were added by syncing from iTunes and need to be deleted by syncing again using the instructions quoted below from Sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in iTunes - Apple Support
Delete synced photos
In iTunes, locate and click on your device.
Click Photos.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
Click Apply.
Learn how to delete photos and video synced from iTunes when you can't access the originals. -

You don't import photos from the iPhone to your computer using iTunes.

Note this only applies to photos taken with the iPhone. Any photos you previously added to your iPhone using iTunes should be copied from old computer to new computer. -
hallo, after upload iPad air and iPhone 5 to iOS 8 (and few days ago Mac to Yosemite, version 10.10), I don't find in my iPad air and in my iPhone 5 photos I can see in iPhoto (version 9.6) on my Mac's Cloud. I tried to add manually from library to iCloud's streaming photo with no result. in iPhoto's events I've 940 photos, in iPhone and iPad about 450. You really need to rethink you're computing habits. Using a computer without a back up is like driving without a safety belt. Updating the OS and applications without one is like driving blindfolded and drunk without a safety belt...
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store -
Why do I get this error message when I open Organizer in Photoshop Elements 11 "Elements Organizer has stopped working"? My only option is to Close Program so I am effectively locked out of my photo catalogue. I have tried reinstalling the program but it made no difference to the error message.

How can I lock the order of photos in my IPhoto albums?
I have created albums in IPhoto and have arranged the photos in the order I want them. But when I open IPhoto and click on an album, I often find that some of the photos have moved to different locations. This is maddening to me! Is there a way to lock the position of photos in the albums?
Thanks, I will send in some feedback. It seems silly to have a menu option to arrange photos "Manually," then have them move around seemingly on their own.

I have 1000 photos on my iPhone in Photo Stream... all have already been added to iPhoto. If I delete the photos in Photo Stream on my iPhone will I lose them on iPhoto??
Its the first time ive used iphoto, hence the vast number of photos i needed to import. I was importing from my phone to my macbook iphoto, my son caught the usb connection during the time when iphoto was deleting from the phone, after it had apparently imported all of the photos but none of them are on iphoto and only 195 are still on my phone.
The problem is not deleting them but finding them all?

Problem with downloading photo from iCloud to iPhone's Photo Stream

I have two apple device, one iPad and one iPhone. For iPad, I turned on 'My Photo Stream' and 'Shared Photo Streams' function before, but iPhone not, and I installed iCloud client at my Win7 PC, so any photos which created by iPad will upload to iCloud and iCould will post them to my Win7 PC, it's perfect!
But.. Here is the problem, I turned on 'My Photo Stream' and 'Shared Photo Streams' function at my iPhone now as well, however the previously photos which created by iPad cannot download to my iPhone's 'Photo Stream', thats mean I cannot download any old photo from iCloud to iPhone's Phone Stream, can I know is this a problem or not? AFAIK, Microsoft's Skydrive could download any files from cloud to end user's device, cant Apple make it as well?Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, even though a rolling collection of up to 1000 photos will remain on your devices until deleted. When you enabled photo stream on your phone you would have only received photos added to photo stream in the last 30 days, as older photos are no longer in iCloud.
If you want to get your older photos from your iPad to your iPhone, you can either import them to your computer and sync them to your phone, or use an app like PhotoSync or Bump to transfer them.
