When I lock my I pad 2 screen the sound alert take a while after pressing the key is that normal?!

You can try disabling emoticons and image previews in your IM appearance settings in your Skype options to see if that changes anything. Some people running Windows XP have had odd graphical and resource issues with versions of Skype above 7.5. The alternative solution would be to downgrade to Skype 7.5 for the time being. If there isn't a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator then try a soft-reset and see if it rotates after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

to reboot you hold the power on/off button and the large home button together until you see the little apple logo.
However if you take three fingers together you can tap the screen back to its former size.

OK, it now sort of works. A couple of problems here:
After updating IOS, Safari iCloud was "automatically" switched off
Switching it on had no effect
resetting my iPad automatically switched off safari iCloud again
after switching it back on, it said "turning off safari data"
switched it off and on again, now it said : "turning on safari data" and the sync worked
On IOS 7 no problems
The bookmarks not being displayed was because after pressing the book icon, it defaulted to showing the history and I had to press "Back" to get to the other options

You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

HT201177 My Macbook pro: After sleeping, the screen comes on momentarily then blacks out. When I close the lid and reopen it the same thing happens. The screen only does this after waking up from sleeping. Help, thanks!

Macbook Pro:
When I raise the lid after sleeping, the screen comes on momentarily then backs out. If I close the lid and raise it again, the same thing happens. It is sometimes necessary to force quit. Once restarted, there is no problem unless the lid is closed for a short time and the machinge goes to sleep.

Correct the Map app does not give audible turn by turn navigation. It does not advertise as doing so. There are many GPS applications which are avaialble that do.
