Lock screen issues when deleting notifications

I am having a recurring problem where the phone gets stuck when I try to delete a notification from the lock screen. When I swipe and hit Trash, the screen sends me to the password entry screen but every time I hit a button, the screen only bounces to the right then back. I have to double tap the keys quickly just to enter the code. Once this happens and I can unlock to Trash the notification, I then sometimes have the time/date on the lock screen disappear. I have to reboot to get it to work. It's happening on multiple devices, 5s, 5c, and iPad Air, all with iOS 8 (the phones on 8.1.1 and iPad on 8.1). I'm also having TouchID get stuck if it doesn't read after three attempts. Overall, the Lock Screen is pretty unreliable on iOS8.

Example: for me the blurred screen has to do with AUDIO PLAYBACK, which causes the iOS to display the "playback control buttons" on the lockscreen. When I PAUSE AUDIO, the blur clears up instantly. So, clearly, Apple designed the screen to work this way.
I will be checking to see if a way to remove the "audio controls" from the lockscreen. given new contol center (which I can access from the lockscreen), there is no longer any need for these controls to display on the lockscreen.
I will be trying to remove everything possible from displaying on the lockscreen, to at least minimize this effect. But think we all need to request that apple add an option to STOP the blur effect on the lockscreen.

Just got iOS 7, Lock Screen Blurred When I Have No Notifications?

Just got the new iOS 7 update for my iPhone 5, I realized that the lock screen blurs when you have notifications. I really like the picture I have for my lock screen. Go to Settings>Privacy>Location Services. You can see what, if anything, is currently using location services, and what has used it within the last 24 hours.
An open location services arrow means there is a geo-fenced reminder set.

[SOLVED] KDE Plasma 5 | Lock Screen Issues

Everytime my computer locks - whether it be manually or automaticly, I get this lock menu with 3 options. The first option has my username and my avatar, which prompts me for my password. Everytime I type in the correct password, the screen turns black and then reloads the lock screen. Which makes it impossible for me to log back into my session leaving me unable to leave my computer on ever. I can create a new Session from the same menu but when ever I do create a new Session after being locked out, not a single app will launch. And I know I am putting in the correct password because when I purposly put in an incorrect password; the screen doesn't turn black, it just gives me a diffrent prompt. Another issue I am facing with KDE at the moment is about 80% of the time when I shut down my computer, I get a crash report from most of the applications running, for expamle kwin. I'm only saying this incase it is relevant, it is annoying but at least it doesn't prevent me from getting work done. Also, I used KDE's suggested SDDM for login.

Oh, that really sucks, I like to use Arch for gaming on Linux so i dont think either of those sound preferable, but I think I will just try to downgrade nvidia then. Gnome atcually has worse issues with the latest nvidia drivers which sucks as well. Thank you for finding this.

Interactive Lock Screen Issues

Using an iPhone 5, just updated to iOS 8. When I get a text and swipe left in the lock screen, it does not give me the option to reply from the lock screen. Anyone else having this issue or fixed this issue?

I have been chatting to Apple on Live chat and they have fixed the issue.
Go Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings> This will only reset your settings and your wallpaper and you shouldn't lose any data.
Once phone has rebooted send a test txt to your self and it should work.

Persistent banner on lock screen even after deleting app

IOS6 Auto Brightness on lock screen not when unlocked

Auto brightness working only on the lock screen after updating to iOS6. Opposite of what it used to be. When I unlock the phone in a dark room it's now nice and dim on lock screen but goes bright as soon as it's unlocked.

I think it s a bug and not strange . watin for iOS6.01 or 6.1.1

Album artwork/title on lock screen incorrect when playing different albums

Does anyone else experience this? When I double click on the HOME button on the lock screen, the album artwork does display, but it displays the wrong album, title etc. The forward, reverse and pause buttons work correctly, but the artwork never changes. It currently displays an album that I haven't listened to for months.
Any ideas on this?

Thanks for the idea, restarting worked a treat. This has boggled me for ages, especially since the problem would come and go (now I know it would go after I let my phone die) but never put 2 and 2 together.
My guess is there is a temporary cache in the iPod module (cause it happens on touch and nano swell apparently) that doesn't always get flush on a sync, but goes away with power off. Strange that it's still happens with 4.3.3. Guess apple have more important hiccups to worry about. (can anyone say GPS cache)

Full screen issue when utilizing Ease of Use on screen keyboard and RDP in Win8.1

I am exploring using touch technology with our point of sale application which is delivered to our clients using RDP. The default touch keyboard in Win8 is basically useless for our application so we enabled the touch keyboard under Ease of Use (EoU)
which does meet our requirements. We enabled the KB in docked mode so it is always displayed and locked to the bottom of the display. The issue is that when we start an RDP session in full screen mode, the RDP session is using the whole screen
and slipping under the docked EoU KB. Is there a means to have RDP recognize the reduced screen size with the EoU KB docked and only use the available screen real estate? I understand that I can configure the RDP settings manually and approximate
what I'm looking for but this drops the session into a window which is somethibg I'm looking to avoid.

As per my research, I can say that you need to set the RDP screen size manually. So after setting the size of Full screen RDP you can able to use. You can also try to switch the application in Remote Desktop connection by “Ctrl+Alt+Break”. Please check
the shortcut to be used when using RDC.

FM Radio Lollipop Update Locked Screen Issue

Hi All,
After updating my Z1 Compact to Lollipop I face the following problem. When I listen to FM Radio with Sony's supplied single-button earphones with the screen locked if I press the button once it turns off the radio app and then if I press it again it starts the Walkman instead of resuming playing radio. This was not the case on the android kitkat. It's very important to me as I use FM Radio very often. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

This is called by the button event handler.
Then I get this error:

I used the Dispatcher, and I put it in the UI thread, but the issue is still there.

I don't think you have to delete it. Just set it to nullptr, it will self destruct by itself due to ref counting.

Screen issues when waking up from sleep

Very strange things going on with the screen on my new MBP, it has only occurred on a very few occasions now, after waking up from sleep. I noticed two strange effects happening, not at the same time so I don't know if they are related or not.
1) Sometimes the screen shows a varying brightness pattern at the bottom, I think caused by some of the LEDs from the backlighting having a different brightness then others.
2) Sometimes the entire screen has a blueish hue.
Both issues are fixed when I restart the computer.... anyone know what might be going on...?

Also when it wakes up from sleep the screen flashes, don't think its supposed to do that.

Green screen issues when playing videos in fb + youtube

at first i noticed a re-occurring problem when playing videos via facebook or youtube. A green screen randomly appeared now and then until i reset the laptop. I tried many things, including one suggestion to change quality option from 480p to 140p via settings option in youtube. It worked on some occasions, was able to view video as the green screen disappeared. Of course, as expected, image quality suffered. I contacted Lenovo to inform them of issues I was having with viewing videos, they advised it was a problem with the adobe software and that I should check to see if I have an updated version installed on my laptop. (currently running O/S windows 8.1 and IE 11), I downloaded chrome, fortunately, I am able to view videos in youtube properly even though they appear as a green screen in IE 11. Not so lucky with facebook however, green screens in IE when playing Facebook video uploads appear as black screens in chrome. I reset the laptop and everything appears to be running fine. Is this an adobe software issue? Lenovo seems to think so, Seeing as how others experience the same issue regardless of the make and model of laptop, they may be right.

Editable ALV issue: When Delete/Modify a row, ztable doesnt reflect changes

I have been running into an issue that I need some advice on. I am allowing users to edit a Ztable via ALV. When the quantity field is updated everything is fine. However, when the field "lic_plate" is edited the code appends another row into the Ztable instead of modifying it. Also, when the delete row functionality of the grid is used the row is not deleted from the Ztable.
Here is the ztable structure. The fields I allow to be edited are in BOLD...

When you are using an editable ALV for table maintenance you have to take care that the users
- cannot edit the key fields of existing DB records   and
- every new record (row) does not match any existing record (i.e. has identical key field values)
Instead of relying on selected rows for the DB update I would recommend to store a "PBO image" of your data and compare this with the "PAI image" of the data as soon as the user pushes the SAVE button.
Example:
DATA:
gt_outtab_pbo    TYPE   < your table type>, " PBO image
gt_outtab           TYPE   < your table type>. " PAI image
" 1. Select data from DB table and store in both itabs:

Locking Screen Issue

I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.4.10, and have set up system preferences to require a password when deactivating the screen saver. However, I am booted off the internet every time I enter the password to deactivate the screen saver. How can I maintain my internet connection while securing the screen? Please advise...

Make an appointment at any Apple store. The genius bar can confirm whether your phone has a hardware issue or not. If hardware, Apple does not fix iPhones, they replace them, & the cost for an iPhone 4S, if not covered by warranty, is US $199. A third-party repair shop will be cheaper, but if you go this route, you void all warranty/support, as well as the right to an out of warranty replacement.
Sorry, but I suspect those are your only options, at this point.
