  • Lock Screen Notifications

I have just bought a Passport phone. I have tried all settings but I can neither see any icons or notifications on locked screen. If I swipe from bottom of the screen to the middle, I can see the icons only but the moment I release my finger they leave the screen. Also my message for the lock screen does not app rear on the screen. Before this phone I was using Z30 and transferred all my data through BB link to this phone. All other features seem to be working. My software update is 10.3.0.908. Please HELP!!

Thanks for your reply. Already done that. Allow Power in ON. Lock Screen notifications is ON. Lock screen message is also written. This was done before I mentioned my problem. Still no lock screen notification. When I switch my BB ON from power button I directly go to emails. Lock screen does not appear. I have to swipe to get the screen but no notifications.
Ok, the way you explained that, you do not have a password set on the device.
With no security password set, when powering on, it will go to the main screen... not a lock screen.
At Settings > Security > Password, set a password.

  • I've found two bugs in iOS 7. 1) declined calls does not appear as missed calls on the lock screen/notification centre. 2) when bluetooth is enabled from control center, it does not connect to an already paired bluetooth device

I've found two bugs in iOS 7:
    1) declined calls does not appear as missed calls on the lock screen/notification centre - iOS 7.0.2.
    2) when bluetooth is enabled from control center, it does not connect to an already paired bluetooth device automatically - iOS 7.0.

  • Lock Screen notifications disappeared 10.2.1

I own a z10 and I updated the OS to 10.2.1 on 28 Jan and my phone had been working fine until 3 days ago. I was unable to locate my phone so used BlackBerry Protect to ring the loud alarm to locate the handset, once I found my handset I saw that all the lock screen notifications and camera icon on the lock screen had disappeared. The settings have them all turned On but they do not appear on the lock screen.
I have done device resets and battery resets but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Is there anyone out there who is experiencing the same issue or any workable solutions. Would love to hear from BlackBerry themselves, customer support have been useless unless I pay $49.

    Hello,
I've got mine working again.  I went back to the Blackberry Protect website and used it to display a message to my lock screen.  Once I did that, the lock screen notifications returned.  I turned off the password and it's still working.
    Hope this helps,
    Nat

  • Ios 5 for calendar lock screens notifications

With ios 4 calendar notification  on the lock screen would stay until the phone was unlocked. I loved this feature and used it on a regular basis as a way to see upcoming appointments.
When I updated to ios 5 the calendar notification on the lock screen now automatically disappear after a short amount of time. I've tried every setting I can think of and am unable to change this. Is there anyway to have calendar notification on the lock screen stay until the phone is unlocked with ios 5?
    Many thanks for any help!

I've tried every variation of of settings in that menu and the lock screen notifications still shortly disappear instead of waiting staying until the phone is unlocked.

  • Lenovo Vibe X2 - lollipop lock screen notification contents hidden

Since I upgrade to lollipop all of my lock screen notification is hidden, how to show the hidden content? My device information : Model number : Lenovo X2-APAndroid Version : 5.0Build Number : X2-AP_S224_150709_ROW

    Hello InTheHeaven,
I'm not exactly sure what you mean, do you mean no notifications such as received email or similar are showing when the screen is locked?  What are your settings in the notification centre?

  • Email Lock Screen Notifications Still There After Email Is Read

I have set an exchange email account on my iPhone 5S running iOS 8.1. After I receive an email a notification would appear on my lock screen. The thing is that the notification is displayed on lock screen even after I have already read the mail in Outlook.
When I was running iOS 7 such mail would disappear from lock screen. Just to avoid any confusion here is how worked in iOS7:
    1. I received email - unread mail was displayed in Outlook on my PC and on Lockscreen on iPhone,
    2. I opened the mail in Outlook,
    3. Notification on new email disappears from lockscreen on iPhone within approx. 1 sec.
Now it just stays there. This way it isn't so simple now to keep track (without having to unlock the phone and check email app) what mails I have already read.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
    Thanks,
    m.

  • Time lag for lock screen notification sound

My iPhone 4 (up to date) will typically flash new emails on the lock screen and then vibrate (or play a sound) about a minute later. I know this isn't a big deal, but it's frustrating, since I typically assume the vibration/sound is a new item, so I pick up the iPhone and re-check.
    Is this normal behavior?
    Thanks!

Went to the Genius Bar and found out what the issue was. I had a few email accounts (two gmail and one godaddy related account). Apparently, gmail doesn't do push, so when iToys went to fetch, it does one gmail account, then the next and waits until it's done to make the vibration/sound. Eliminating the other accounts (I rarely use them anyway) cleared the problem.

  • How to get rid of lock screen notifications?

I've tried suggestions found elsewhere(turning off app switcher, etc), but nothing helps. I'm getting FB, message, and other notifications on the screen. It seems worse since I upgraded to iOS 8. Thanks in advance.

Go to Settings>Notifications>select the particular app and turn off Show in Lock Screen.

  • How to turn off all lock screen notifications?

I give up. How do I turn off the notification messages I get at the locked screen from my apps? I've tried everything. I went into settings and turned off the notifications there and I went into the apps settings and turned it off there. Still messaging me. Very annoying. What do I do? The specific apps I'm getting notifications from are Temple Run 2 and Asphalt 8 and a couple others I can't remember.

I'm sorry, is this a game that is connected to Game Center? I don't use Game Center, as a matter of fact don't even play games on my phone at all, so I couldn't explain this. Is this the only notification that you have received since we talked last? If so, is this a game you use on a regular basis? Can you try to delete the game from the phone to see if it will stop then? Have you tried to get in touch with the game developer and see if they can provide any background as to why you cannot stop notifications?

  • Lock screen notifications not working

I just upgraded to iOS 5, and I have an iPhone 3G S 32GB. Notifications are working -- I receive them, badges work, the pulldown works -- but I don't see any notifications on the lockscreen. I've double checked to make sure that all the apps I want have "View in Lock Screen" on, but nothing is showing in the lock screen. When I double tap the home button, the camera icon pops up, so that's working. But no notifications.
Anybody have any suggestions, or experiencing the same problem?

You're absolutly right! And the solution would be so simple. Just one more option to choose the "active lockscreen" and offer at least the NC on lockscreen.
Who needs widgets in the NC - it's about the Lockscreen! And stock ticker and weather may be fine, but it is intangbile why there isn't a calandar widget, and why no third-party-widgets are allowed.
ios5 had the potential to be something special, now its a big disappointment. I cant understand apples policy, I just can't....

  • No Transparency on Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Utility Center

I last updated my phone about a month ago. Now, when I go to the lock screen on my iPhone 5, it's all grey and there's no transparency at all. Also, the notification center is all black and the utilities is all white and again there isn't any transparency. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

Check if Increase Contrast is enabled. Those information match the effect of it enabled.
    Enter the Settings app
    Go to General, then Accessbility
Ensure that Increase Contrast is off.

  • Lock Screen notification center - I want messages to show in the N/C but not on the actual lock screen itself. Any way to do this?

In ios7, is there any way to have incoming text messages show up in the notification center on the lock screen but not pop up on the actual lock screen itself? I cant get this combination to work and it seems like it shoud. The text notificaitons do not show at all on the L/S notification center unless I choose the allow on lock screen option. But this not only puts it in the L/S notification center but also adds it to the lock screen itself. I dont want it to do both.

Your email accounts will not actually be reset.  The only things that will get reset if you hit reset settings will be your homescreen and lockscreen (your pictures will still be on your phone they just default back to the initial ones), the size of your text, the sounds you use for text messages and ringtones (any of the ones that you have specifically customized for certain contacts will not be reset it's only the ones that you use for yourself) and a couple other minor things.  None of the apps that you have to set up personall as in facebook or twitter will reset. I really recommend do this, nothing major will get reset on the phone it's just some minor  settings.  Just make sure to hit 'Reset All Settings' and NOT 'Reset All Content And Settings'.
I've also tried it with messages app specifically after I hit 'Reset All Settings' and it works like a charm.  No messages pop up on my screen but I can access and preview in the notification center without having to unlock my phone.

  • How can i make alerts still show up after they have been seen on lock screen notifications

On my old BB when an alert came up it would stay until I closed it or snooze or what ever. But mulitiple reminders would always be there until i decided what to do. Now on iphone
you might have 5 items on your lock screen but if you snooze or open one the others all are gone and never reminded again? Any advice?
