Locked, but not closed? help needed moderators!

Dear Moderators,
My most recent question was locked... Understandable... but atleast I should be able to close it... Now out of the ten open questions I will only be able to keep 9. Please close it or allow me to do it.

Logic's preference files may have become corrupted:
1. Quit Logic Pro
2. In the Finder, press and hold down the "option" key then select "Library" from the "Go" menu
3. Open the "Preferences" folder
4. Drag the following files to the Trash:
    - com.apple.logic.pro.cs
    - com.apple.logic.pro.LSSharedFileList.plist
    - com.apple.logic.pro.LSSharedFileList.plist.lockfile
    - com.apple.logic.pro.plist
    - com.apple.logic.pro.plist.lockfile
These files will be re-created when Logic is next opened.

Clicking the lock does not work HELP

clicking the lock at any kind of program does not work at all, not working in system pref,
not working at ''get info'' window, not working in any other kind of lock, i tried defragging via idefrag but that couldn't work because it needed a lock to be opened as well, i can't move my files to some folders, getting the ''The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code 100022).''
plus when i log out, cannot log in because when i type my password it accepts it but then nothing happens, i had a root account as well but i can't enter it and can't create again because of the lock, but when i log in with guest account(no pass required) i can make changes via clicking the lock and filling in admin username and password in system preferences. and i created a new admin account in guest account by filling admin info for authorization in system preferences > users&groups , set no password, logged out but could not log into that account as well. my system is set to login to my account when the system starts. so thats how i can use the computer

Back up all data if you haven’t already done so. There are ways to back up, even if you can’t log in. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore everything to the state it’s in now. If you’re not sure you can do that, STOP.
Briefly, you need to delete the following file:
/var/audit/current
If you already know how to do that, you can skip the rest of this message. Do it, and try again to log in.
Step 1
Boot in single-user mode by holding down the key combination command-S at the startup chime. If you’re using an external USB keyboard, it must be plugged directly into a built-in port on the Mac, not into a hub. Release the keys when you see a black screen with scrolling white text. In this mode, there’s no graphical interface; just a command line. Initially, you can’t make any changes to files.
Step 2
When the text stops scrolling, and you see a line ending in a pound sign (“#”), type the following command:
rm /var/audit/current
You must type the command exactly as given. If you don’t feel able to do that, STOP. At this stage, no harm will be done if you make a mistake, but later, it will be.
Press the return key. You’ll get an error message about a “read-only filesystem” below what you entered. There must be no other error message. If there is, try again until you get it right. You’ll continue to get the read-only error.
You might get the error “No such file or directory,” even if you entered the command correctly. If you’re sure that’s the case, stop and post again.
Step 3
Once you’ve taken steps 2, and received the expected error messages, enter the following command:
mount -uw /
Again, you must get it exactly right. This time, there should be no output at all. If there is, you mistyped the command, or something else is wrong.
Step 4
When you’ve taken step 3 with no error message, press the up-arrow key until the command from step 2 (rm …) reappears. If you got everything right on the first try, you’ll need to press the key twice. Make sure the command is correct, then press return again. There should be no output. If there is any, make a note of it and post a reply.
Step 5
Enter the command:
exit
Press return. The text will start scrolling again, and then the system will reboot. Try again to log in.

G500 indicator light works for caps lock, but not for num lock

I have G500 laptop running windows 8.1 64 bit. I have noticed that there is no indicator light for when num lock is on. The light on the front of the computer under the touchpad comes on when caps lock is active, but not for num lock. Is there any indicator for num lock on this computer?

I’m sorry to inform you that there is no other indicator in G500 Laptop for Num-Lock key.

ITunes won't recognize iPhone (3G), restored with another pc and worked once but not anymore, help please

- I changed a new case, battery and a headphone jack, after that iTunes didn't really wanna recognize my iPhone
- I've had the same problem earlier too, before ^that
- I have the latest version of iTunes
- I've tried to remove all USBs and reconnect iPhone many times, and rebooted both PC and phone
- I had the error 1611 while trying to restore on my PC -> I tried on another computer, worked
- my PC's iTunes recognized my iPhone once after restoring but not anymore
This is really annoying, I would be so thankful if you can help me.

You'll have to take your machine to an Apple Store or an AASP. They will (or should) be able to help.

Loading from local but not remote HELP??

I've created a flash "app" that works 100% on my local server but not on a remote one, I'm connecting to a MySQL server using flash VIA php.
Weird part is the fact that I can delete and add to the database but it doesn't want to read from the server and populate a datagrid???
If I test the php file it gives the correct output in IE and the flash file is in the same directory(and domain obviously) it just doens't read\load it?
Any help would be MUCH appreciated!!!

O2 will and do unlock iPhones for their customers and quite happily compared to some other UK carriers

Album cover present when the ipod not locked, but not when locked

I bought a new 4rth generation ipod touch, and I bought new music and synced it. The new 2 albums, when I play the songs, I can see the album cover when my ipod is not locked, but when locked, I only see my wallpaper and there is no album cover...
why is this?

Just wanted to say I'm having the same problem. It's not detrimental by any standards but it does bother my OCD a tad. Hopefully it's a small glitch that can be resolved.

Invoice cancelled but not closed

I canceled an invoice using vf11. The S1 canceling document was created but not released to finance. The next day when I tried to release into FI using vf02 I encountered the below message: "Post.Date is infer.to the date of the last posted doc. with same n° range". Can you please advice what should I do to create the accounting document and match it with the invoice?

This is not the standard error but due to customized process. Check with your technical team as to why and what validation is there preventing the process.

Can edit event title, day, and hour, but *not* minutes - Help!

I can edit everything about my calendar event title, day, and hour, but not the minutes. This is very annoying and I'm not able to have accurate calendar entries.
It's like there' s a glitch in the program. Can it be reloaded/rebooted?

Flash Vidio plays locally, but not online - Help!

I have a htm page that I have inserted a Flash Video. It
plays locally, but not when I have it on the web. I get nothing -
no skins, nothing. If I rt click, there are the settings for flash.
I have the scripts in my scripts folder - double checked that. Can
anyone see what I'm doing wrong?

Dont remember passcode and have restored phone but phone still locked...please help. needing unlocked

I'm not sure how the serial number could have been replaced. Do you have access to any serial number at all? I would recommend calling Apple Support and explaining the problem, but you'll need the serial number to tell them so they can help you. It's possible that the original serial number on the phone is correct, so check on the back of the iPhone where the number can usually be found. If not, and you've synced your phone to iTunes, look on iTunes for the number. If you still can't find it, call Apple Support and explain the situation to them (tap on "emergency call" in the lower left screen below the keypad when you turn your phone on) and call Apple. Check this page for the number depending on where you live:

Nokia x3 help! menu button works for lock but not ...

i have a new nokia x3, around 2 months old, after restarting the phone one time, the main button (the menu button) works for locking/unlocking and even makes the keytone sound when you press it, but i cant open up the menu, its really annoying because without the menu i cannot access the phone!
i can still make calls/text messages, but i really want to fix this.

just to clarify, the menu button works such as when i slide the phone closed, the 'lock' option appears, and the button works then, but when i unlock, i goes back to the usual 'menu' option which just doesnt work.
i can use text/calls from the shortcut buttons such as left/down/right and some buttons work on in certain places, such as when the 'send' option appears for sending a text.
i have tried to soft reset using the code, before, and i have tried restarting it.
none of them worked, does anyone have a solution, also does anyone know the hard reset code?
