Locked out of camera

Locked myself out of camera can't remember code wont allow me to reset all setting without this code. Help? :(

If you don't remember your Restrictions Passcode, you must restore the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup. The Restrictions Passcode is incldued with the iPhone's backup so restoring from the backup will also restore the Restrictions Passcode.

  • I'm trying to set up an iPad for work and the apple id I was trying to use came back expired. I set a new password and then it said it was invalid. Now I'm locked out for too many tries answering security questions that I don't remember setting up. Help!

I seem to be stuck in apple ID ****. First the password was expired only two minutes after I finished setting up the account and then the new password was invalid.  I don't know what to try next but this is making me crazy.  And I'm locked out for eight hours for too many attempts at answering questions that I never set up in the first place. I don't know what gives but something is way off. I need to set up this iPad for work but I can't get past the login.

  • Help! Locked out of my work computer?!

    Hello,
I work for myself from home, and I am locked out of my 2010 Macbook Air. I do not remember the password, I also do not have the original installation cds that came with it. All that it says when it turn it on is my name, with a place to type the password, and "cancel" at the bottom, that's it. As for the operating system, I belive it is Mavericks. Can somone please help me log back into my computer?

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
    Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. In the window that opens, type this:
    res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
    resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens. Close the Terminal window to get it out of the way.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
    Select
     ▹ Restart
    from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.
*Note: If you've activated FileVault, this procedure doesn't apply. Follow instead these instructions.

  • My g3 using mac os 8.6 is completely locked out HELPPPPPPP

i'm using mac os 8.6, when i start up the machine, the start up screen goes to a normal start up screen but theres a little lock that shows up in the bottom left hand corner, and it locks, and the screen goes blank... then it goes to another startup screen and boots normally..... but has soon as i get onto the computer everything is locked out, i can't access anything......................... this computer was formally from my school, and i know the password, but i dont know the key sequence to press when i boot up the computer to unlock the system, i was wondering if anyone could help with this
    thanks

    Adam,
Welcome to the discussions. The first thing to do with a G3 is to add a second drive. An external drive will allow for formatting several computers or an internal for now to give you options. Ask the school to give up the system install disk that came with the computer. They just toss them in a cupboard somewhere and forget about them.
A second drive will allow you to back up files and make a clean installation of your system. Give your computer a clean start and have fun with it. System installs on a Mac are not painful like on PCs. Go online and purchase a new install CD for OS 9.1 or better and try that out.
    Enyoy your new toy.

  • I'm locked out after using my CORRECT passcode!!

I turn my passcode settings from off to on on occasion (when snoopy relatives come to visit).  Today I went into Settings and turned the passcode to ON.  As usual, it asked me to enter my passcode to make this change and then to reconfirm my passcode.  I did this and was able to turn it ON and continue working on the iPad.  I came back to use the iPad later and it asked me to enter my passcode as expected but now it says it doesn't recognize my passcode now and keeps disabling the iPad.  I have never changed my passcode for the iPad (yes, I have carefully attempted over 20 tries so I know I am not mistyping the passcode with my fat sausage fingers).  I really don't want to restore my iPad if I can avoid it as it makes me nervous that things will be lost (photos, video, big project I was working on this morning before getting locked out).  Help!

I if I remember correctly, if you turn it off, turn it back on, and hold the home button until the "This device is locked" screen (or something among those lines), then it puts your iPad into recovery mode. Although I'm not sure what happens then.
Sorry, but you might have to lose some content. It might be worthwhile to set your iPad to sync over WIFI.

  • Lock out Code does not work

Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 .... I register, get the email with the lock out code, enter it and it just kicks me out of the program. The first couple of times it let me in, but the next time I went back into it, the registration screen came back up again.

I'm getting something somewhat like you describe but on
a brand new computer with this being the first third-party
    application downloaded to it.
Downloaded reader 8 plus Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0
and I fill out the Product Registration form, click on Register.
In rapid sequence it says Attempting to Connect, Sending and
Receiving information, then throws up the error box:
    Windows Internet Explorer
    Cannot find 'http://www.onlineregister.com/powerregister/webview/pages/adb2/cha
    mak_thx/?FNAM=x&CTRY=US'
Make sure the path or Internet address is correct. [OK]
Clicking on OK gets better, with another box displayed:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: ...Starter Edition\3.0\shared_assets\locales\en_us\ADB2.EXE
    abnormal program termination
    [OK]
Of course, typing the above URL into any browser *including*
the IE on the box in question immediately gets a page that
would make perfect sense to display, but apparently Adobe
doesn't play well with an IE7 system or there are more
    fundamental issues here.
And to top it all off, you never get the unlock code by mail either,
despite a TCP snooper showing the information being transmitted.
Running the registration via Help->Registration over and over
    yields the same failure results.
Completely deinstalled all Adobe components and re-downloaded and re-installed
and got same results. Even allowed it to apply the
    3.01
update and that didn't help either, so my allowed run counter
is quickly approaching zero, as it is so good about remembering
    that across a deinstall-reinstall.
Oh well, back to de-install it goes. It clearly isn't going
to be usable because of the security bugs before it isn't usable
    because of the security features.

  • HT1338 I had to reinstall my system because I was locked out and now I can't get back any of my purchased applications, not a On my account it shows the newest software purchases. How can I get them back after reinstalling my entire system with an older d

I have a MacBook in Japan. I had to reinstall my system using an older version of the disc that came with my computer because I was locked out and now I can't get back any of my purchased applications, not any of the software updates. On my account it shows the purchases. How can I get them back? None of the websites, such as iTunes seem to explain that...
    Thank you in advance,

  • Why wont simple password work locked out?

I  changed the simple password from the 4 digit option in general settings and restarted my ipod touch 2 gen and when the locak screen came up it didnt have the the four digit option it had the keyboard. I typed my four digit password and now Im locked out any idea why this happend?
Any help would be very helpful and is anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks

I would just connect the iPod to its syncing computer and restore the iPod. I iTunes asks for the passcode and you can't enter the passcoe, place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod. For recvery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
It appears that your passcode and other than simple digets since the keyboard only comes up if you have non-simple digets even if you have the non-simple passcode off.

  • IMac 3.06 21.5" can't find permissions. I'm locked out.

    2 month old iMac 3.06, 21.5", OS 10.6.2.
Installed 3 updates from Apple last night (aluminum keyboard, iLife, something else). All seemed to be working fine. Put computer to sleep at 2:00 PM, came back at 8:30 and when hit space bar, all settings and files were locked out, and computer reverted to default. Signed on and off, change identity, rebooted, ran disk utility, checked hardware, no joy. Checked console log, long string of errors when computer started at 8:30, if I'm reading correctly, it can't find path or file library/user...sync or settings. Log says quoting"something is seriously wrong" at the end of a string which I don't understand. I managed to save log - after a struggle ("you don't have permission to save...").
I can sign in with my original admin account, but all of the files and settings are denied to me. I had a secondary admin account with minimal assets which seems OK, but it can't access the files either.
Any suggestions? I'd like to save the files if I can, even if I have to reformat the drive, plus I'd like to find out what happened so I can stop it from happening again.
I duped this post in an OP about some person who had a complete fail in a new 27" iMac after a software upgrade. I don't know that the auto Software Upgrade is responsible.

Ok, problem fixed, if not solved. A very helpful Apple tech walked me through opening terminal and entering a sudo command line that established my user name as the owner with owner access. Like magic, everything reverted back to original state of affairs.
Reviewing the console log of the error, it started when I tried to wake up the iMac from sleep with network access from another Mac, which should not have been a problem. This is in the category of "Who knows?" If there is a repeat, I'll come back here and post it.

  • Locked out of my iPhoto.  Will not let me upgrade.  Says used another apple id.

Downloaded Yosemite.  Now it will not let me download updated iPhoto .  Locked out of my photos.  States iPhoto bought with another Apple id.  iPhoto came with my Mac computer.

Perform the following, stopping with the first one which works:
    1. Open the Mac App Store's Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept it into your Apple ID, do so.
    2. Move it out of the Applications folder(it may need to be put into the Trash temporarily), and then see if you can download it for free from its individual product page. If you're asked to buy it, see #3.
    3. Click here, contact Apple, and wait for a response.
    4. Buy it.

  • HT4061 how do I get my password accepted if i am now locked out?

I tried getting into iCloud, I was informed my password was incorrect. I followed the program to change the password. I received a text notifying me that it was accepted.  Tried getting in with my new password, I was denied, wrong password.
I am now locked out of iCloud, unable to receive or send mail. How can I get a password that will be acceptable and work when I use it in iCloud?

  • Mac book air os x lion windows network connection keep getting locked out

hello, I have an end user with a mac air, running os x lion. I attached him to a network share on the windows network active directory on server 2008. he is the only one that when he clicks on the network share it locks him out. I check a/d and he is locked out each time. Is there a fix for this. other computer specs are processor 1.7 ghz intel core i5 4gigs memory. this should be an easy fix for such a robust machine.

    Hey,
yes I did get to the bottom of this problem!!!. After spending some time on the phone with apple support they suggested that it was probably a problem with the hardware on my macbook air.
So I took this to an apple shop they had a look and it was infact a problem with the logic board. Not sure what was wrong specifically but they replaced it and then reinstalled OS for me and now works perfectly. All came under the warrenty obviously.
I had a look at your thread and it seems that your having the same problem, only thing i can suggest is ring support if you havnt done so already they will go through recovery with you, should be all free if you have just bought your new mac. Alternatively, to save time I would quickly check and download via a different internet connection/ try connect your mac to the router with an ethernet cable, just to see wether its an internet issue.
If this fails unfortunately you will most likely have to take it to an apple store to get them to take a look!.
    Good luck
    A

  • ICloud security lock out

I was checking emails on my iPhoone and was promptedt o enter password for Apple ID asscoiated with iCloud ....  I entered what I thought was the correct password ..  response was wron g password .. was redirectred to reset Password ... given option of security questions or email  ... chose eemail .. nothing arrived ... selected security questions  ... security questions came up that I couldn't answer .. in fact couldn't remember having been asked these questions Apple ID previously.  My account was migrated from Mobile Me to iCloud ... iCLoud locked me out after 4 wrong attempts for 8 hrs  ...  this was 9 hrs ago
... still locked out .. have called Apple Support .. tey say wait  for 8 hrs  ... any ideas folks?

This is EXACTLY what happened to me.  And my id never reset.  This has been horrible.  Apple insists there is nothing they can do even when I have proof I own the account and brought my identifying information to the apple store.
I think apple may be having hackers that lock you out of your account and then send you a bogus email about iCloud Security.  I think both issues are something apple needs to address.  There needs to be some way for you to get your email back for people who migrated from Mobile Me to iCloud and only had one security question.  It is bad customer service from a company who is supposed to have the very best.

  • W500 ex-corperate model locked out - Help Help Help?

Hi there. I have ex-corperate W500. The screen broke and because of the laptops age, my work scrapped the PC, which was given to me. I have removed the screen.
I have tried to start the machine using a external monitor. But the pc has locked me out. Showing a black screen and two logo's which include a pc and a lock sign:
I have tried starting the PC and pressing the thinkpad blue button, the F1, F2, F8, F12 keys and it goes to this locked out setting every time.
Is it possible to unlock this PC and what is needed?
    New motherboard?
    New harddrive?
    New CPU?

I think any of them would work. W500 came with 512MB RAM ATI/Intel switchable graphs. The hardware maintenance manual (HMM) from Lenovo lists the following FRU numbers:
    42W8132
    42W7981
    42W8106
    42W8133
    42W8134
If you don't need the power of ATI you could go for a T500 motherboard with Intel graphs, they're cooler and a little less prone to failure like the switchable models. FRU numbers are:
    42W7978
    42W8104
    42W8129
    42W8130
HMM can be downloaded from here: click me!
