Locked Work Status doesn't work

This is a new case.
I have original work status like this. I show MAN only in this example
Unlock    MAN=unlock
Submitted MAN=owner
Approved MAN=locked
Then I add a new work status line as the intial state
Start     MAN=locked
Unlock    MAN=unlock
Submitted MAN=owner
Approved MAN=locked
The purpose of the Start work status is to prevent the user submit something at the initial state.
But the Start work status doesn't lock anything, user is freely to submit data on this work state.
My analysis,
I changed the current work status from Start to Unlock and switch it back to Start and the lock does its job.
Anybody has the same issue?

It is logical that it works only after you upgrade to unlocked and downgrade again. The workstatus mechanism makes use of a table called tblFINANCElock (or what name your application has). In the beginning there are no records in this table which indicates that the data is unlocked. Once you update the status for the first time a record is generated with a status. From now on the system can link the records to the work status setting that you have defined and see that status "start" should lock the data. I think this functioality works as it is intended, and the only workaround for you is to lock and unlock the data before the users start entering data for that period.

If your device is disabled...
Connect to your computer in recovery mode per the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
You may need to do this more than once.

Without a working lock screen button, you'll probably have to wait for the battery to go dead. Once it doesn't wake up by pressing the home button you can plug it into a charger and it will eventually reboot.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Yes, they will work and are sold online for sure at www.tryten.com. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Xmodmap -e "clear Lock" works *except* in xinitrc [SOLVED]

It's a strange problem...
* All other xmodmap expressions in my xinitrc work. e.g. xmodmap -e "keysym Caps_Lock = F11"
* The expression -e "clear Lock" works after I have started into the window manager, and type it from the terminal emulator
* I tried, to no avail, also (sleep 3; xmodmap -e "clear Lock") &

I don't know how I missed this thread before. This is freakin' brilliant. I had this in my openbox autostart file to remap Caps_Lock to Ctrl. It was working, then just stopped with some upgrade the other day:
xmodmap -e "remove lock = Caps_Lock" &
xmodmap -e "add control = Caps_Lock" &
eval `cat $HOME/.fehbg` &
numlockx &
lxpanel &
Instead of using sleep, I simply rearranged the order. It works now:
xmodmap -e "remove lock = Caps_Lock" &
eval `cat $HOME/.fehbg` &
numlockx &
lxpanel &
xmodmap -e "add control = Caps_Lock" &

CUPC 8.0.3 busy status doesn't change to offline on OS (windows) shutdown

Hi,
We found the following problem with CUPC8.0.3.
When you set the status to 'busy' or 'do not disturb' and you shut down or restart windows (without closing the CUPC program manually) the status doesn't change to offline (from the perspective of other CUPC users or the CUPS end user information page)
If the status is availabe it is going to offline when windows is shut down or restarted
Does anyone know if this is a defect...?

Hi Luc,
Yes I managed to reproduce it in my lab as well. As soon as you login (after a shutdown) the user is shown busy again.
This is working as expected and it is a known behaviour. It is tracked by the following defect
CSCsl11256
The thing is that a fix would require a lot of changes in CUPC architecture and there is no known date where this issue will be tackled.
This does not happen when the user is already in available status because the busy and 'do not disturb' require special handling
I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Reset all settings
Erase All content and settings
Reset Network settings
Etc
Even
Reset location and Privacy
It keeps showing the problem

Locked Profile Status

Hi,
We are testing on search functionality on recruiter role. Searching for a profile of a candidate who has locked profile status. Expectation is only candidates who have released their profile will appear in the talent pool search. But we are able to see even candidates who have locked profile status.
Please let us know if I have missed out any customizing setting?

I have verfied if the correction mentioned in the sap note you've mentioned has been incorporated in the system, and I observe that it has been modified per the note.
I have already added the TREX attributes as below:
ls_hidden_info-ses_attr_name = me->gc_hidden_info_cand_status. ('hidden_info.candidate_status.key')
ls_hidden_info-ses_attr_value = me->gc_cand_status_released. ('RELEASED')
for the iv_search_task EQ 'quicksearch' and appended it to the exp. internal table et_hidden_info.
After this am getting the error message 'The syntax of your entries in the full text search is incorrect'.

The drive has malfunctioned and corrupted itself. If that has ever happened before, or if it ever happens again, replace the drive. You may want to consider replacing it anyway for the safety of your data.
If you choose to keep using the problem drive, launch Disk Utility, select the volume, and run Repair Disk. If the volume can't be repaired, you'll have to erase it and start over. Don't do that unless you have at least two complete backups.

Lock/IMport Status - Object Locked

I have a Custom BAPI, which has two structures associated with it. The BAPI is attached to a Workbench Request.
In the Display Request (SE01) of the Task ID of the request, it is seen that the 'Lock/IMport Status' has the value 'Object Locked'.
1) Why is it so?
2) Do I need to unlock it before releasing the TR?
3) If yes, how to unlock it?

You have the password requirement set to something other than "Immediate".
Settings > General > Password Lock > Require Password

Lock/power button doesn't work and phone tries to turn itself off

So this morning i woke up and for some reason my power/lock button on my iphone 4s doesn't work, but that's not the biggest problem because there are work around's. the real weird thing is that now my phone just decides its going to shut down. It will randomly bring up the screen to swipe to shut down even when im not even holding my phone. Unfortunately my phone is out of warranty so I am getting ready to do a restore but other than that i have no idea what else i might be able to do.

Heey, When my old iPhone 4S's Lock button was stuck and it just ran out of warranty, I went to the Apple Store to get a replacement. And they didn't even ask or checked if i had a warranty, they just gave it to me for free.
