Locking of users frm PRD server only

Hi ,
Suppose we have user which hve access to DEV , Quality and PRD server
Now I want to Lock that user on the PRD server only ?
After locking the user on PRD server, The user is not able access DEV and QAS?

Locking of one user in Prod does not lock the same user in qual or dev.
Whether you wish to lock users on 1 or 2 or 3 of the systems is a business decision. I cannot answer that question, your company has to make that decision. SAP software will not force you to lock/unlock the users based on whether they are locked in another system.

Navigate to
system_admin -> Monitoring->
Portal->object_locking->
There you can view your locked pcd object.Just check it and Unlock.
That should solve your problem.

Make sure you don't have any open sessions. If not, then go to SM12, and delete the relevant locked entry.

Mavericks server only serves one calendar per user

Hi everybody,
I'm a little bit stuck and could use some help. My situation:
I've installed mavericks server, configured dns and open directory, started file sharing, defined home folders for network users on the server, created network users and started calendar & adressbook services.
I've bound a mavericks client to the server and I'm able to log into the client with a network account. The home directory lies on the server and everything is running ok. I've created two calendars with the account and entered some appointments. Logging into another client everthing shows up, as it should be.
So far so good.
Now I'm trying to add the calendar of the above network account to an iphone or to another account on the client. Unfortunately the server presents on the iphone as well on the client only one empty calendar. I suppose it's a new calendar and not one of the calendars I've created upfront on the server.

Domain user is locking his user account- but I cannot figger out why!?

I have a user, the CTO, who recently received a newly imaged workstation/notebook. He is using the same password for the last few password changes (this is between you and I!) but strangely, his user account has been locking on an irregular basis.I took
his machine out of the domain, renamed it and added it back to the domain and it seems to have been working fine for the last two weeks until the user came back from OS, connected to the local network (same domain) and his account started locking again.
I'm at my wits end here and cannot find the problem.
Here's what I've done so far:
* Removed all cached credentials from the workstation- from the browser and from the local computer cache.
* Checked for mapped drives- none found.

* When his account locks, LockOutStatus shows his account has locked on the local AD server AD01.

As you can see, there's no workstation name, which is strange to me.
I enabled debug logging with Netlogon (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/109626/en-us) but there is no entry for this specific time period.
The local Event Viewer | Security shows a number of failed audits, but nothing which seems to have anything to do with locking the account. Most of these are error 5152 (Filtering Platform Packet Drop), 5156 (Filtering Platform Connection) & 5157 (Filtering
Platform Connection) errors. I can detail these if you need me to, just let me know.

Please let me know the windows servers in your environment like Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 etc.
This is because , if you have set a GPO on your 2000 server, which is set to "Send NTLMv1" and the GPO on your Windows 2008 server is set to "Only accept NTLMv2."

Creative Cloud for Teams, 6 users, files on server, want them on cloud..

At my company we have 6 creative cloud for teams users and a server that we use to put all of our files on, i want to have all of those files sync to the cloud so we can all access them and they stay in sync with the server that they are all on. would i need to install creative cloud on the server (its a mac mini server) and sync it that way? i would need to take up an install and log in for the server computer correct? most of my team already uses their 2 installs on a mac pro tower and then on their macbook pros for when they telework or are onsite somewhere... just wondering what my process should be for getting our files on the server synced with the cloud for our team.. thanks!

The feature you want is not available yet. Currently there is only individual file sharing, so one file at a time. Folder sharing is coming. You will then be able to share folders with specific individuals. We do not have a date for when this feature will be available.

i had modify a std script for payment advice for FI module. my problem is that the company logo is not coming in form after execting it from tcode f-58 in production server only.
i checked that graphics object in se78 in prod.sever , it is present there. the thing is that the logo is coming in the form when i executing it from development sever. can any body tell where is the problem.

May be you have changed the form in DEV and in PRD your print program is still calling the std form and not the new (z-form).
Might be a good idea to check that in t-code NACE !

Locking happens if there is any overlap of models or duplicate scheduling of jobs with same variant.

Print issue in PRD server

In our PRD server all the print is going in the waiting state ,,,how to resolve the issue ...as we are using 3 spool work process but the one spool work process is stopped and remaining 2 are free but not doing any thing ,,,plz give any suggestion to resolve the issue.

Without providing any information it is little bit difficult to give answer for your query. Provide us SP01 Error screen shot for that request.
1. Ensure the printer port should open b/w the user's desktop and the local printer. You can ask the user to pint for any of the word document to check whether he is able to print or not
2. Check in SU01 for that user is having printer access or not
3. Login with User's credentials from your desktop and try to give print whether you are able to print or not
4. Check any network issue b/w SAP Server and Local Printers
As i told you it is not easy thing to give direct resolution. Ask if you have any queries

Error in SMQ2 - Object requested is currently locked by user ...

HI together,
we send IDOCs from SAP R/3 through XI into an other SAP R/3 system (ORDERS). all messages will be processed but only 2 messages are get stuck in XI with the error message:
"Object requested is currently locked by user" in SMQ2.
Do anybody know a solution for that?
If i trigger the IDOC in WE19 again, the same error occurs again and again.

very strange happening!!
i check the mapping of the error message and found out that we have a used a multiply function in the mapping (quantity * price). we have a price > 100000.00 and a quantity of 3. In testtab the mapping runs and runs and runs... nothing happens.
i created u UDF that solve the problem. i do not know why this is needed or what is wrong the the SAP standard mapping function.
Unfortunately we have this issue only in production, not in DEV or QA.

How to lock a user by using random password?

hello,
i need to lock a user from a target system by pushing in random passwords for the accounts. i am successfully able to create an adapter that can generate a random string, but the place where i am stuck is that where to use it as i just need to lock the user and not delete it. if the corresponding manager approves the suspension then the account needs to be deleted else again the account needs to be enabled.

ok... sorry...
so what i did is that i have created a resource that has to be provisioned to the user if the user is to be terminated, in which the manager will mention the user to be terminated and the reason.
now OIM has to lock the user till the reason that has been given by the manager is deemed valid by the second level manager.
so for that i have a approval and a process form and processes associsted with them. but the problem is that i need to lock the user using the "Entity Adapter" so i need to do so only in the "Data Object Manager" and thus the problem starts as i dont know where to map the adapter that generates the random password so as to lock the user.

You may get the following error when you try to add users to a new
installation of Calendar Server 3.0:

Could not bind as [nsCalXItemId=10000:00001, o=Ace Industry,c=US]. 
Create ObjectClass for user [cn=John Doe, o=Ace Industry, c=US]... failed.

This is an inconsistent problem that we are trying to duplicate on a
regular basis. There are a few solutions:

1) Create another node. This seems to work every time. 
2) Deinstall the Calendar Server completely and reinstall. Be VERY
careful of the Directory Server URL definition.

What printer model is it? I ask, because often manufacturers provide USB-only drivers for USB-only printers - for Macs, that is. In other words, if you know about CUPS from using Macs and linux, the manufacturers actually provide drivers with the comm protocol built-in, rather than make use of the USB "backend" available from CUPS. I am trying to lock the user with time, But in Users Form available in System Administrator Resp. i can only give a end date. There i am not able to specify a time. Is there any ways to lock a user with time.

you could not get the time in the front end.you can find the time in the table fnd_user available at the applsys schema.
