Locking Text to a screen position...

Does anyone know where I can find a tutorial about how to lock one layer to another...meaning, if it's text over a handheld shot, the text moves with the shot. Short of keyframing each frame individually, (which doesn't look great) I'm not sure how to do this, but I'm seeing it more and more lately which leads me to believe there's an easier way to do it. Thanks! You guys are the best!

Do you mean like a thought bubble over someone's head that moves around the screen as they move? You can either do this manually by keyframing every few frames; for a short shot this is perfectly easy and pretty quick; but for a longer shot you'll want to do it in Motion which has a motion tracker and can lock a object, like text, to a specific element in the image.

Hello Olga,
Unfortunately I believe that it is no other way in the screen directly, only the one mentioned by you.
You can try use substitution (OB28) but then I am not sure if there is one logic that will work for all documents, like for example copy from line one to all other lines, maybe you can define an exit in the substituion.

Changing text field (need more positions) of variant ZUK01 in FF67

I am using a variant called ZUK01 in FF67. In that variant I have a Line item text field, but with not enough positions.
Is it possible to change the field properties so I can change the positions of the field?
I want to use the variant but need to feel in more text then I have positions.
Is it possible to change it? So yes where can I find it?

You could go to OT43 tcode (screen variant maintenance for manual bank statement); double click on your variant and note down your Field name (for text); then click on "Technical names" and note down the table and field for that field name. Then, from SE11; you can find out how many characters that field (data element) allows. Then, you can talk to ABAP team member for the possibilities: to enhance that data element or use another field for your purpose.

Generates a comment on the selection screen. For the name name , there are two options:
name takes the form TEXT-xxx where xxx is a three-character name for a text symbol. In this case, the contents of the text symbol are displayed at runtime, i.e. the text cannot be changed dynamically. name is another eight-character name. Here, you create a field with the name name in the length specified in the format fmt< /> and it is then generated as an output field on the selection screen. The contents of these comments must therefore be set at runtime (e.g. at INITIALIZATION or - in the case of comments in the database include program DBldbSEL - in the routine INIT of the database program SAPDBldb . They can also be changed when the selection screen is being processed.

The field name is generated automatically and so cannot be defined with DATA .

There is no way to move text freely to the position you want. Am I missing something..or you just can't do it?

I use FCP X with Lion and, after clicking the little icon with the four dots in the lower left corner of the viewer window, I can move my titles and text. I noticed, however, that I cannot click and drag from just anywhere on the viewer screen, but I have to click in the smaller rectangle surrounding the text. Just to make sure I don't miss it, I usually just click on a letter in the text and drag the text block to where I want it. That's probably just a habit from programs I have used in the past that require that. I think you guys got it right ... just need to get close to the text for it to work. Of course, it goes without saying you also need to select the text clip first.

Sorry, downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple, thus there is no official way to do so. Your phone was re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to because you hacked it to unlock it. Apple's servers detected such & re-locked your phone. You need to contact the carrier your phone is locked to if you want to get it officially unlocked.

This sorted it for me:
Backup your iPhone to iCloud (I believe backing up to iTunes will work too). Now go to "Settings --> General --> Reset --> Erase All Content and Settings" to completely restore your iPhone to factory settings. Assuming you've backed up to iCloud, you'll be asked when setting up your iPhone if you want to restore from an iCloud backup. Choose that option and once your iPhone has restored itself from your backup, this annoying problem will finally be gone! (was for me anyway).
To restore from an iTunes backup, connect your iPhone to your computer, load iTunes. Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up.

Connect the iPod to your computer and charge it for at least an hour and then try to restore the iPod via iTunes on your computer. If it asks for an passcode and you do not know it place the iPod in recovery mode to bypass the the passcode. For recovery mode see:
